Buffet can be a hit or miss… which is unfortunate! They are not consistent with their quality of food or variety! Aside from that the brunch really is a social time with friends, which is priceless. But over all not very impressed. First time there the waiter was horrible, this last time instead we had an amazing guy… so pleased tipped him 40% of the bill. If they stepped it up I’d be there more often with friends.

Awesome space, food, atmosphere, service. I was skeptical about eating at a bar; however, the experience was worth it. Unfortunately, we found the place on Sunday before heading out of town so we were unable to take advantage of the mimosas. The waitress brought us complimentary virgin ones.

What a fucking disaster this place is!!! High prices, weak drinks, stupid girls trying to convert gay boys, and dirty bathrooms. Ugh.

I usually come here at nights with friends. Can’t say I love it, can’t say I hate. It’s absolutely solid, has a very pretty staff to look at, and usually has fun events like foam parties. Like any other place on the strip, the music can be a bit too loud and minimizes the ability to have conversations with people, drinks can take a little while to come out but that’s usually because of the sheer amount of people clamoring for drinks, and due to their success it can sometimes be a little too crowded. But, like I said, it’s solid for what it is and usually a stop is made on any given weekend night.

There’s no such thing as a «gay bay» in late capitalism. Boystown is not a dream scape, but the staff is doing the best they can.

We had a groupon for brunch all you can eat. There were a ton of options which was good as not all dishes were great to be honest. The servers were very nice though it was busy and they also took care of the food. Overall we got a good deal with the groupon and the servers were very nice. We called before they even opened that day and they were able to fit us in for brunch a few hours later which was very much appreciated!

Sunday brunch at Minibar reminds me of Oscar Wilde’s novel«The Picture of Dorian Gray». This gay hot spot has a reputation for employing gorgeous young men. On a Friday or Saturday night Minibar is the place to see and be seen. Yet on Sundays the ugliness comes out, much like Dorian Gray’s grotesque painting hidden in the attic. Where do I begin? The bar was so dark I felt I was eating in a cave. My husband, friend, and I sat at a high top table that wobbled. The food, a daunting fusion of Asian inspired fare mixed with traditional breakfast dishes, was a cold, coagulated mess. Minibar’s only saving grace was the carafe of mimosas included in the price of brunch. I will admit that the brunch crowd, like the bevy of sexy studs who work at Minibar, was young, attractive and hip. Why such cool people would waste time and money on brunch at this place is a mystery I’ll never solve. Try your luck across the street at Nookie’s where the food is better, the tables are sturdy, and you can actually see what you’re eating.

Went for Sunday brunch and was very disappointed. The website said artisan cheese and gourmet comfort food. Well there was no cheeses and build your own hotdogs was the gourmet food. The few items on the buffet were ok but certainly not worth the price. Will not be returning

While most places are very busy on the weekends, last Friday and all Fridays that i have went has been dead. They even shut down half of the bar to make it look like it more busy, but the music is bad and this place looks like it is going to shutdown soon and not make it. enjoy it while it lasts, but there are more new and fun places as this place is pretty old.

My review is based on their Sunday brunch. I started off with little expectations after I purchased a groupon which included buffet brunch with 1 bottle of champagne and juice. There is a reason I am Not a fan of buffets and this was an example of why. The food was not good, soupy globs of eggs and cheesy vats of potato mush are some of the highlights awaiting in large catering canisters. On the cold dish side they have dry/stale mini muffins and bread along with some salad and fruit. So basically what I am saying is don’t expect much as far as food quality goes. On a very good note the service was excellent. The guys working here are all really friendly and nice. Service was 4 stars. With some effort they could easily do more but for what you get for the money even with a groupon I was disappointed.

There is a brunch buffet going on here FYI! I had a groupon, but I think the normal rate is around $ 25 per person in which you get a carafe of mimosa… you can get orange or pineapple juice, you decide! $ 10 per carafe after the 1st one. The food was meh, but I guess most buffets are so-so. The egg options were nice as one included peppers and onions maybe and the other included mushrooms and possibly feta cheese(greek option I presume), the bacon wasn’t my favorite but the hash browns or potato mash was pretty good. I basically ate enough to cover the 3 carafes of mimosas we drizanked. Servers were cool, but I’m not sure I appreciated my party of 2 being placed in the back secluded bar when there were tables open near the food.

This review is for Sunday brunch«buffet», So this is my third time giving a try to Minibar Brunch and wow still surprise how bad they still doing with the food service. This suppose to be a Brunch buffet but that’s the least that it is. Every time I visit this place even though I enjoy the place food is just bad. They really need to improve the menu big time and the timing to check is the buffet area are full or empty. Is so embarrassed what I bring friend from other countries to visit this«brunch» cause every time I go we have to wait longggggg for them to replace the empty pan and fill with more food. sometimes even takes 10 – 15 min for them to replace with more food. Is very annoying the fact that you are paying for a brunch buffet but the must you could it is maybe one, two plates because of the waiting for food. I really like minibar but if they wanna to continue the brunch business especially now the summer is almost there they need to either hire a new chef or expand the kitchen cause is ridiculous the way for the food.

This review is for the Sunday all you can drink and eat brunch buffet. Overall I’d give it 3 stars, for the fact that it was indeed all you can drink mimosas, we never had an empty glass, and there were several juice choices to choose from. Our party of 7 was seated right away and spent the next 2 hours enjoying ourselves without any rush from the waitstaff. However, the food is where all the stars are missing– it was barely edible. The pasta was sludgy, the plates were picked over and empty looking, and all the standard fare you’d expect at a brunch buffet were missing(toast, bagels, muffins, etc.) that we could be filling up on. There are many other brunch buffets in the neighborhood, sadly I would be very hesitatnt to return!

Went for the brunch buffet. The food was just okay. The spread left a lot to be desired, but what was there was great. I hear they once had a lot more options, but have pulled back from the Sunday buffet. Our waitress was fabulous! Very attentive and kept the mimosas flowing. I would go back, but I wouldn’t make a special trip. The music was a little loud, but I guess it is a bar. Hard to have a conversation. Meh

Came out here one night with a group of my friends. I came to see the Fab Khloe perform as well. First of this place has like NO dance floor! It very small and people will bump into each other. The crowd here is very snobbish(if that is even an english word). There are many other places to go out in boys town where the crowd does not have a stick up their ass. One thing i did like was the swing they had. It just looked cool in my opinion. I am at a loss of words here; i was not impressed and probably would not recommend anyone to come here. I at the other hand will probably not return.

Great Sunday Brunch Buffet. Everything we had was really good and there was a pretty good variety of food, fruits, etc. And unlimited mimosas were in a bunch of different flavors. Service was really good also and the vibe was pretty upbeat. And it’s not expensive at all for what you get.

Been here for Sunday Brunch a couple of times and I’ve always enjoyed the food. The fact that it’s all you can eat and drink(mimosas) for $ 25 is a pretty sweet deal. However, the service has always been less than adequate on each visit(today the waiter never brought us our check after we asked for it so we had to go to the bar and request to pay). Also, for some reason it seems that all the minorities are always put in a section together in one area(either the tables by the DJ booth all the way in the back or on the other side of the bar with a wall hiding us away from the rest of the people enjoying brunch here). Since the brunch deal is pretty sweet I’ll probably be back and will be sure to request a table not located in Wisconsin.

Not really my type of place. Not cause it’s in Boystown or the crowd that comes with it but mostly just cause there’s a lack of women in there. Frequenting and working the bar. I get why though. Came here to meet a friend for a birthday get together and wound up having to wait almost an hour. But thanks to a friendly connection thru my friend I was instructed to ask for Mikey D in which he accommodated and kept us company while waiting. Nice guy. The space is definitely nice and I can see that this place gets packed and looks like fun. A mentionable would be that there is $ 20 bottle service on Thursday. Nothing too fancy but it’s a deal. I understand the demographic but get a couple women working there.

Stopped in here to have a couple birthday drinks for a friend of my brother’s. We received a cool greeting at the door and when we entered the front bar and tried to order some drinks, but once we sat at the back bar Mikey D took care of us. He was awesome. They have a $ 20 dollar vodka bottle service on Thursday nights which is super cheap. I’ll have to come back and try the food since I see it has such good reviews. The ambience is very trendy and it does remind me a hotel bar. I’ll give it another chance.

This review is for them as a restaurant, not really a bar. I’ve been there many evenings for their Tapas. The prices are great and you can’t beat Tuesdays when it’s half off Tapas. A good variety of dishes and I have yet to have a bad one. Both types of meatballs are really good in my opinion and stand out from the many times I’ve been there. Also, it’s usually not been busy on the nights I’ve been there which is nice. Plus, when it’s warm out they open the front windows giving you an outdoor feel without being out on the sidewalk!
