Municipal is renovating and adding lots of new items – changing with the neighborhood, I guess. Now you can get a bunch of organic and fancy stuff here, and most importantly, every flavor of El Yucateco hot sauce. Their toiletries and produce selections are still limited. But they still have El Milagro tortillas and Today’s Temptations bread, which are the best. I especially appreciate this place’s(almost always) ripe avocados, great beer selection, and friendly service.

Though it says liquor in big letters on the side, this is actually a pretty good grocery store. They have been expanding a lot of their selection, so things come and go. Which is sometimes fortunate and sometimes less fortunate. However, they are caring in broader selection of healthy options, so does, and sometimes merchandise. This has traditionally been a Latino grocery store, and it is changing with the demographic of the neighborhood. So now it is an interesting combination of more traditional items like tortillas, beans, Puerto Rican seasonings, hummus, Greek yogurt, almond milk, and Italian sodas. The vegetables are always miss labeled and are cheap but of poor quality. Cermac down the road on north avenue is much better for produce. But i go here because its convient. It has ever idea of beers and liquors and now It has an increasing variety of craft beers.

Cheapest PBR30 rack in the area.(I think) A little expensive when compared to Jewel(with preferred card) or Aldis. Not very good selection of fresh produce. Healthy food is not on the list here. I use it as a nearby source of whatever I run out of and beer. The service is nice, the place is cleaner than a lot of HP establishments and that’s it.

This is a good little neighborhood grocery, The produce isn’t always the best, and they lack some healthy options, but overall they have you covered if you aren’t a health freak, like me. And I can still find stuff to eat there. Plus, they have a pretty good wine and booze selection, which is all that matters anyway, right? They have a box where you can drop off letters to the North Pole, so if you haven’t mailed yours yet, you can drop it off there. Better hurry in!
