Neighborhood Laundrymat

This is a pretty decent laundromat, i’ve never had to encounter a crowd here. It usually pretty easy to get in and out. Plus it’s always clean.

This is a nice laudromat. Plenty of «working dryers». I never have to wait for a washer. Previously, I went to the other side of town (80 and Pulaski) to do my laundry and now I wash here in my neighborhood. I’m proud to support this business. It could use some more folding tables and chairs for sitting.

My only problem with this Laundromat is that they spelled it Laundrymat… I know that may be petty but its the truth.
This Laundromat is on the smaller side but they do have a Jumbo Machine in the back if you need too wash 2 ½ too 3 bags of clothes or a few or more comforters depending on the thickness. They have a machine that is step down from that if you have a laundry bag of clothes and/​or a couple of thick comforters. Then the rest are just standard machines but they don’t have any top loads which most Laundromats don’t have any more.
They open at 6 am and I have to find out when they close because I truly can’t remember.
This location is very clean and they have Wash with free dry. When I pulled my clothes out they smelled so fresh and clean. Trust me some Laundromats even after you have poured your soap, added your fabric softner you still don’t get that fresh washed feel. I would say that if you don’t see your suds and if you are like me seeing the suds is important use one of the empty bottles by the sink and fill it with water to make sure your soap goes into the machine. Most dryers are about 30 minutes and they are hot. I came across maybe two of the dryers that didn’t get that hot but I’m not going to complain when the rest of the dryers I used were on point as far as how they work.
Make sure if you have cash and you don’t need $ 20 dollars to wash you have two tens or whatever variation of $ 20 dollars you choose because they don’t have cash to make change for you to get your quarters. Now, please don’t take that to mean they don’t have quarters because they have two change machines in the back but they Do Not have paper money change so you may end up like me having almost $ 14 dollars in quarter because you didn’t break your $ 20 dollar bill before you got too the Laundromat and trust that’s not fun… lol but very heavy in your fanny pack.
The two people on duty that I have so far were very nice.
I hope more people in the area find out about this place because there are too many Laundromats that are subpar and don’t care so it was great to run across one that I like in a neighborhood that is lacking.
I will be back this is my new Laundromat so come on people support them and leave happy!!!
