Meh. Trashy. Sloppy. I’m sure any city inspector would shut them down. Elevator was out of service so we had to push through the line for the restaurant downstairs to find the hidden stairwell up to the club. With all the padding on the walls, electronics, and extension cords strewn across the dark stairs, the place would be a total death zone in the event of a fire. Rooms had good soundproofing but smelled like old nasty cheese. They need to change their mop water more often. The people before us had stolen the batteries out of the microphones. Only one out of 3 stalls in the ladies’ room had TP. Entire place smelled of cigarette smoke. Our waitress Tina said we could use the call button to bring her back, but then never responded to it. We wound up going out front for drinks. They were out of bottled water, so I had to keep going back every 10 minutes for a refill. Each trip required extracting the bartender from the chick he was hitting on all night. English-language song selection was acceptable but not extensive. Song selection software and controls are buggy and unresponsive. The touchscreen song selection system is all very flashy but I’d be much happier with an old-fashioned analog system that actually works.

Very cool spot to celebrate a birthday or just a fun night out, wide selection of music and the private rooms are a nice touch. Only issue is it smells like cigarette smoke in here other than that I enjoyed myself.

THISISTHEBESTKARAOKEPLACEINCHINATOWN. I have been there twice and I left there happy after both visits. They are not very pushy about selling private room or drinks and they have been extremely nice.

Decided to have my birthday celebration here! First time visit and I will be a regular. The bar and food is reasonably price. They have private rooms that are comfortable and pretty big. The staff took very good care of my friends and family… Super good customer service.

I came here to celebrate my birthday earlier this month and had a great time– but despite a great evening, I feel as if there were a lot of things that did not go smoothly. PROS: nicer set up than the Karaōke places on Western, CLEAN(which says a lot, it’s in Chinatown) CONS: 1) Very confusing— A) The entrance was closed– had to go into a side door through a restaurant to get inside(but there were no clear signs explaining where to go, but we figured it out) B) they didn’t explain how to work the karaōke machine C) my friends were billed for drinks they did not order(which if severely intoxicated, you wouldn’t be able to spot)– I couldn’t tell if it was an honest mistake or if they were taking advantage of a drunken situation. 2) SLOWSERVICE. We would order drinks at the bar, then the drinks would slowly roll into our room– they were busy and it seems as if they didn’t have enough staff to service. 3) OURLARGEROOMTHATWASSUPPOSEDTOFIT30PEOPLE, barely fit 20 comfortably, and for the record, my friends and I are not big people. 4) SONGSELECTIONS: WEAK

Went for a birthday party this weekend. Love: separate rooms. Don’t have to sing in front of strangers. Good time. Good music choices. Lots of options. Did not love: the set up and disorganization. Have to go order drinks and have them brought to us. There was much confusion when ordering each time… My bill had several items I didn’t order due to the disorder and lack of attention to details. We weren’t treated special as a customer nor did they remember anything. Since they were able to adjust my bill and I had a good time and the bday girl had a good time, I only took off one star.

The bartender was trying to give us free warm here in order to pay to get into the spot really not a good spot to go if you’re trying to bring your lady or your friends I’m sorry but it’s really bad favor and don’t show up not worth it to try to hustle you and take your money from you

Surprisingly we had great experience! Good English song collection, nice employee, easy to talk on some last minute changes on reservation(we were lucky) overall very recommended for those who enjoys Asian karaōke lounge style.

I believe it was $ 40 an hour here. You enter through the restaurant downstairs to get here, and head straight for the elevator. I think I counted about 12 rooms, and one common area next to the bar. Good place to get up to 8 friends together and sing for awhile. Came here with a friend, and we enjoyed it. I must say the touch interface was difficult to use, and took about 10 min to get the hang of it.

$ 45/hr for a room for 8 people. Not bad. The drinks weren’t too overpriced. The place was not too crowded on a Sat night. After 10 – 15 minutes figuring out the machine, we were on a tear. At first thinking, one hour was plenty, we were literally carrying the mike and singing out the door when our two hours was up. We brought the kids, they had a blast. Plenty of pop songs from Pitbull, Ke$ha, Rhianna, Sam Smith, Beyonce, even Queen. Our group wished for more AC/DC and Bruce Springsteen, but come on! This is Chinatown! The service was fine. Obviously, english is not the native tongue, but they were pleasant and nice. I would definitely come back. I think kids are allowed up until 10 p.m.

Went on Wednesday for Karaōke, and it was only $ 20/hr because of happy hour(All of Wednesday) special. The song list was great, and we found just about every song we looked for. The only downside about this place was that the waitress was a bit pushy in asking us to buy things. They should have a call button instead of checking in every 15 minutes since the vibe would drop whenever they would turn on the lights and stand in front of the TV.

Celebrated my cousin’s bday here on Sat. Super nice venue. Clean and upbeat. We arrived around 10pm which was great for us since we were not getting a private room. Sorta felt like we had our own private room since it wasn’t as crowded that early. The reason I didn’t get a private room is bc the require a 3 hr minimum on winds and tht was too steep. The only annoying aspect was the pricing! 2 wings = $ 8…like wth?!? The drink prices are sky high too especially since they are served in small glasses…

Came here with a small group on a Saturday night and I have to say that I’m really impressed by this place. Having been to multiple karaōke places in the Northern suburbs and in Asia, I have to say this is the best karaōke place yet I’ve been in the Chicago-land area. The décor, rooms, and karaōke systems are all very updated and you almost feel like you’re back in Asia. Service was also very good, which seems to be uncommon for Chinatown. We sang for 2 hours and it’s $ 35/hour for a small room. The bill turned out to be $ 90, so we assumed that gratuity was automatically added.

This is a great place to go for a drink or to sing karaōke or just to listen and enjoy the vibe I was in Chicago for the weekend and just l wanted some place in Chinatown to get a drink late at night. We found No 18 our first night and it was what were looking for and more. Good drinks, karaōke in the lounge or private studios(English, Chinese, Korean, etc…), tasty food, great atmosphere and friendly staff. We ended up going to No 18 ever night we were in town Special mention to a young Chinese woman with short blonde hair. I never got her name but she was there bar tending and serving every night we were there and she great. Very friendly and really good service

I love this place. It is so much nicer than the other karaōke I have been to in Chinatown. Their snacks and food are good. My friends and me went to this place and they gave us free 4 hours singing in a private karaōke room.

A new place to have fun in Chinatown. I been here twice already with my friends, the first time I was sitting at the bar, the bartender made me a free cocktails and he is v professional. The second time I was inside the karaōke room and start to sing, which is very very fun!!! They have songs with different language even my American friends who never went to karaōke bar had a good time. They also have good staff, who come to our room a few time also teach us how to play all the game they provide inside the room, is v interesting! Overall a very fun experience, I will come back for sure!

Snazzily designed venue and decent collection of English-language songs, but I was put off with the under-the-table attitude of some of the staff. A group of us(about 9 people) came in without a reservation around 8 pm and asked to sit in the main bar area to karaōke after learning that the private rooms would not be available until 11 pm. After being told we could freely sit and sing by the bar by one staff member, another one then told us the minimum cost would be $ 100 in cash for our group(mind you, they take credit card) and that all of us would have to buy drinks. Eventually we were able to bring it down to a more reasonable $ 30, thanks to my friends who could speak fluent Chinese. However, I still don’t think we should’ve had to pay this much for using the main bar space. We also were first told we could stay for as long as we wanted, but after an hour, they told us our time was up. Overall, I had a great group of friends, and despite what happened, the staff were quite polite. Even so, I wasn’t impressed by the drinks, and I didn’t appreciate how inconsistent the staff were about their services and the one staff member’s attempt to rip us off.
