First off, if you’re not ordering the caramel and cheddar combination, there is something seriously wrong with your tastebuds. That kind of flavor combination is definitely the best in the entire universe. Weeeeeeee!!! Anyways, I almost always come and get myself a baggie of popcorn every time I come through ORD. It truly is a iconic snack that is known to be a Chicago thing. It’s quick, it’s easy, cheap and travels extremely well. I’ve only encountered the line once, but I was EARLYFORMYFLIGHT like a RESPONSIBLE jetsetter. I really didn’t mind waiting for my turn to purchase a bag, it just makes the anticipation in my mouth just that much more intense. Plus the cashiers and employees are very nice. Come buy popcorn here… because if you don’t, you’re not part of the cool kids. Weeeeeee!!! Follow me on Instagram and snapchat: rodtorres3

This is such a treat! I’m not a huge fan of popcorn or sweets, but I made an exception for Nuts on Clark and have been looking forward to coming back to the city for it. I’ve only tried their caramel and cheese popcorn, which seems to be a favorite amongst many. It’s crunchy, sweet, with a tasteful saltiness — absolutely addicting. The location in O’Hare makes it that much more convenient for anyone out-of-state like me. There is usually a line during day time, but it dies down closer to closing. The last time I came by 30 mins after closing but went in just to double check. The lady who was still there called me back and gave me a free bag of their caramel+cheese popcorn! Totally made my night: D

What a treat coming through O’Hare to find Nuts on Clark! It is a tradition I look forward to– I always get the mixed Carmel and cheese popcorn. It shouldn’t be so good together, but it is!!! I always grab a bag passing through town and think of my teen years when we would grab a bag coming home from long wintry Christmas shopping days down in the Loop. Popcorn– it hit the spot then, and it hits it now, every time I come through Chi-town!

Right next to our gate and I was starving! It was a long line and people were getting annoyed and leaving. We waited the 10 minutes and got a small cheese and small caramel popcorn. Combined, they are really good. Individually, the cheese was really greasy! I definitely wouldn’t make it a point to visit again but wasn’t disappointed. Just ok.

What a waste of money!!! This was my first and last time purchasing this brand. The kernels were stale and unbearable to eat. This indicates the popcorn must have been sitting for a few days or more. If I didn’t have a flight to catch, I would have requested a full refund! Lesson learned, not to purchase popcorn from an airport. I had to throw away a full 7 oz bag of popcorn– terrible!

Great fresh popcorn. Perfect whilst waiting for an airplane, plus a nice treat to take home for someone. Friendly service. I want more!

Line… Slow… Very… Almost late for my flight. That being said, I skipped the legendary popcorn and went straight for the almonds. Those won me over. Definitely a good in-flight snack. Next time will try the cashews.

I have been to this location many times and have craved their cheese popcorn after I flew home. We flew into Midway and I had raved about the popcorn to my friend. I have always been there when there was hardly anyone there. This time, the line was long. I should have received a clue when they pulled out a giant bag of cheese popcorn from the back. I bought 21 lb bags of the cheese popcorn and my friend bought a small one. We did not crack them open until we were on the plane. If I had opened them before, I would have returned them. My friend gave me grief after I had raved about it. The popcorn was already stale and was so hard and chewy. Before, it would almost seem to melt in your mouth. I am not craving it anymore. I just wish I had not wasted my money and become disillusioned.

I guess I just don’t love popcorn enough to appreciate Nuts on Clark. We picked up a small bag after arriving in Concourse H of T3. Everything about it was just fine. The service was fine, the popcorn was fine… just fine. We just got regular popcorn, and maybe it’s because I don’t like too much coating on my popcorn, but it was just too sweet and too not popcorn like to enjoy. I’d much rather eat a bag of Popcorn Indiana Kettle Corn than this stuff. It wasn’t bad, but it sure wasn’t great either. Exceptionally average.

Double the price compared to Garrett’s popcorn. Unfortunate things is that in Union station and mid way, it is the only available one.

I got a bucket of mixed popcorn for $ 10.99. Best deal ever. The size is just right if your carrying it onto an Airplane.

It’s cool. If I had written this review right after my purchase for my departing flight, I would have given 4 stars, and said it’s great. However, my subsequent purchase of caramel corn for the return flight was cold, and therefore I have removed a star. The O’hare Airport location is convenient– interestingly just around the corner from Garret’s. NOC is a little less salty and oily than Garret’s. Taste test completed — NOC wins, but only if it’s warm.(I bought one bag from each vendor while walking to my terminal).

I was connecting in Chicago on flight back to DC and saw this popcorn stand right as I got off the plane. I was hungry and I love popcorn, especially gourmet, so I thought I would stop by here for a snack. They have several popcorn flavors — cheese, butter, caramel, chocolate as well as nuts, and chocolates. I decided to go with the medium cheese popcorn. Once I got to my gate I pulled it out and had a few bites of it. It was very cheesy and fresh and I was happy with my decision. Fast forward 2 days, I pulled out the popcorn to share with my husband and it was stale. I was pretty disappointed that it was stale already after 2 days. It was even more annoying because I had also purchased some popcorn from Garrett’s and theirs was still fresh. My advice is to eat your popcorn the day you buy it or you will be eating stale popcorn.

CHICAGO: Nuts on Clark is a delicious snack stand in Ohare airport where all the travelers buy their Chicago mix popcorn that they wish they were buying from Garrett to take home to their families. The snacks are wonderful; a must stop on your way home.

If you want really decadent nuts… this is your jam Nuts on Clark is a very tempting treat while waiting for your flight at O’Hare. Offering a variety of nuts with different glazes and flavors(toffee, honey roast, chocolate, etc.) and different flavors of popcorn, there’s something here for just about every craving you could have. I’m partial to the toffee glazed cashews. It’s hard to make plain cashews any better than they already are because they are so creamy and amazing. Somehow, Nuts on Clark figured out how to do it. Every once in a while, they have a 50% off sale and if I see that, I go at them hard. Highly recommend!

Despite Nuts on Clark being more well-known for their popcorn, I’ve never tried it. But every time I’m flying out of O’Hare or Midway, I grab a bag labelled«Honey Butter Toffee Cashews #722», approximately 0.33lbs and 755 calories of scrumptious candy-coated cashews to devour on my flight home, kicking the crap out of the airline peanut baggies. These are most excellent nuts, and surprisingly do not appear to be available for purchase from ; this is a good thing, as they would most definitely become a long-term health hazard for me if I could import them into San Diego at will. As other reviewers have noted, the airport locations of Nuts on Clark offer select items at a 50% discount. I’ve visited about a dozen times and noticed that this item specifically appears to always be 50% off, which makes them $ 3.61 per bag(including tax).

I was headed from a gate in the H section of the O’Hare airport for the K side of things, and spotted Nuts on Clark before I left H territory. The Honey Butter Toffee advertised on a sign sounded intriguing after all… I did not partake, however I had spied a few sampling cups filled with popcorn set on top of the glass case by the counter. As I perused the wall o nuts I noticed 50% off signs on some of the options, so I ended up picking up two sealed bags of the honey butter toffee pecans, normally priced at $ 19.99/lb, or 0.33 lb for $ 6.60. There was also a special going on for a free bag of popcorn with any purchase, so that got freshly filled and tossed into my shopping sack as well. I was the last sale of the day as the lights were then turned off shortly before 9pm. The popcorn was okay, as I figured I had better have some before they got stale. As for the nuts, they were pretty good — not too sweet, not too hard. I’m glad, since the second package was for my friend who was picking me up from the airport. Note: According to the company website, they have 3 locations at O’Hare, one at each of Terminals 1 through 3.

Every time I come though this airport I need to go to this little kiosk for the chocolate covered pecans… I’m telling you they are life changing! They have a kinds of other chocolate covered nuts and raisins too and all that but the pecans are all I want. The last time I was there I bought 3 bags, the lady asked me if I was buying them for gifts and I said«oh no they are all for me» haha They always seem to have all these discounts happening like it’s always 50% off every time I’m there. Hey I’ll take it! They sell popcorn too, caramel, cheese, butter, mix. Never had the popcorn there but people are always buying it like crazy.

Landed at O’Hare this afternoon and after a quick restroom break, I stopped at the closest«convenient» store I could find, but didn’t spot the cashew caramel popcorn that Mom requested for amongst the travel-sized goodies, so I asked the Filipina(!) cashier/clerk if the store carried them. She said no, it didn’t, but that I should check out«Nuts on Clark,» which was nearby. So glad I was able to understand her– Flora, I think that is your name… Salamat uli! :)(That’s «thank you, again!» in English.) The Nuts on Clark clerk was amiable and showed me the three nut varieties of caramel popcorn offered here: pecans, cashews, and almonds. I didn’t bother to check the price differences for the nut variants, but I’m sure a combo of two or three could be had, but don’t quote me on it! I think I may have splurged a bit by going for the max of two pounds, but it’s nothing but it’s rare for Mom to request for anything, so if it’s cashew-caramel popcorn she wants, then I am happy to get them for her! Now, I just need to find the closest post office tomorrow morning, so that she may enjoy them while they’re still fresh!
