I said we would become regulars and I was right. The management and service is so friendly and they’re genuinely happy to have you there. And the food! I never go without ordering the nacho bites and build-your-own pizza. Those wood burning ovens were shipped in from Italy and they make everything taste better.

I feel like this place deserves a 5 star review to boost it past the 3 stars it currently has. It deserves more and I want to see them succeed. I’m giving Parlor 5 stars for 3 reasons: 1). I host a LOT of corporate events and this place is by far the easiest to work with on a consistent basis. They reply to my requests instantly. They don’t require ridiculous fees for reserving a space or ask that you commit to a drink package or dollar amount. On top of it all, they have an email alias that replies ASAP when asking for receipts that may have been lost from the event. It’s so easy and I appreciate it immensely! 2). The pizza is extremely good. It reminds me of the pizza in Italy(Florence) and that’s hard to find in the states. Pretty much all the food I’ve had so far has been great! 3). It’s a large space so there is never an issue with arriving and not being able to find a table or a space near the bar. Plus, we have always had awesome service from the staff all around.

Came here with a few friends(including a pizza snob) who I haven’t seen in awhile. Extensive draft list, however only a few seem to actually be being poured at any time. Waitress was extremely friendly and helpful, but came back so many times that I felt that she was trying to turn over the table ASAP. One guy didn’t even have his coat off before she asked him what his drink order was. A few other reviews mentioned the noise– it was extremely loud. Definitely not a first date location if you want to have a conversation(unless you’re concerned about having things to talk about– lots of people watching, etc is available). They do take reservations(Open Table) which is a huge plus in my book. Pizza snob approved of the pizza(and that‘s saying a lot). I‘m not a huge pizza fan but I enjoyed mine. We couldn’t decide on which ones to split so 3 of us got our own(everyone had leftovers to take home– the pizzas are 13″, 6 large pieces each, thin crust). Everyone liked it. The last member of our group got the roasted chicken. It looked/smelled DELICOUS and he said it tasted amazing as well– but it was soaked in butter so if you’re ordering the chicken to be healthy, don’t.(Not to mention the waitress told us that it is cooked in feta as well). Would I come back? Yes. Would I rush back? Eh.

Oh how I love Parlor… I’ve never been let down when venturing to this fun, energetic West Loop joint. The food at Parlor is on point – delicious artisan pizzas, creative appetizers, and custom options too. Try the I Feel Like Bacon Love pizza… think a baked potato on pizza form. Nom. I’m a huge fan of Parlors cocktail list as well. You’ll find something for everyone in your group! The rotating beer menu is great too, with choices sorted by type. The bartenders are always efficient and helpful when it comes to choosing the perfect drink to start(or end – ha!) your night. I’m always a huge fan of places that take reservations and Parlor does that! They’ll call to confirm the day of and accommodate any last minute changes as well. Looking forward to my next visit!

I went with a group of four for a Friday afternoon happy hour. We tried a variety of their abundant beer selection, and some apps and a pizza. Service was prompt and drinks came out quickly. I found the appetizer choices a bit limiting — I think there were six options on the appetizer list — but of the three we tried they were quite good. The nacho bites were very shareable: individually-topped chips that were easy to grab and eat. That works out better than a pile of nachos that eventually reveal a pile of soggy chips that are only consumable with utensils, at other happy hour spots. The artichoke dip was good and the bread that came with it was great. The bacon-lovers pizza(I don’t remember the exact name) was tasty, with a clever combination that included sweet potatoes. It gets a little loud, a bit tough to carry on a conversation, but I can’t expect anything different on a busy Friday afternoon happy hour. I would definitely come back again.

Some guy got wasted and pepper sprayed everyone in the bar and there was no security there to slam his face into the ground. The place is not impressive in its appearance, comfort, or menu. Another place trying to capitalize on this new style of «authentic pizza».

Get the crazy bread. I’ve been here twice mainly to drink and try the crazy bread. Drink menu has a wide selection to all taste buds. Place is surprisingly huge. I still have yet to experience the patio which looks like it’d be a great time. Parlor has been bustling the two times I’ve gone. Good people watching.(creepy voice). The star of the show is the crazy bread though… did I mention to get the crazy bread? Just look at the pictures… the inside is plump filled with pepperoni, garlic, and heaven. Then they top it off with cheese and provide a simple but tasty marinara sauce to dip your crazy bread in… mmm…

My girlfriends and I sat on their patio a few weeks ago — great spot to meet up with friends after work. They have an amazing beer list, delicious pizzas, and a cool atmosphere. The place has great«personality» even down to the menu — we shared the A Guac to Remember and the Burratta Be Kidding Me pizzas — both delicious! We also go the hummus plate to share which had a ton of really fresh veggies(way more variety than the typical celery and carrots) plus some yummy grilled bread for dipping. Looking forward to coming back to try out some more of their za’s!

Closer to three-and-a-half. The crazy bread was so good, and the pizza was great! I had the«burrata be kidding me» pizza with lemony arugula on top. Everyone said that my pizza was the best. It was so good! There’s a great pizza menu. That said, the environment wasn’t really my scene. It’s got lots of TVs for sports-watching, and it’s noisy and crowded. That’s par for the course in the West Loop, though.

Came here last Sunday afternoon. The weather was nice, so there was alot of people outside. The vibe here is pretty chill, theres even a ping pong table outside. They have a decent beer list, and simple menu. We got the artichoke dip which was really good. The Margarita pizza with spicy sauce was blah, expected better. Overall the food is okay, but the highlights of this place is the atmosphere and vibe here. Great for summer nights and sunday brunches.

Pizza Parlor is great — it’s a huge space with a great atmosphere. Even better is the sizable patio and great rooftop bar. It’s amazing just how large this place is and how different the sections can be. I’ve only ever gotten food at Pizza Parlor once, but it was great food. We started with the monkey bread which was almost like a sliced up calzone. It was a bit garlicky but I loved that there were massive slices of pepperoni tossed in between each slice of bread. I also got the Aunt Chilada’s pizza with no mushrooms which has a great chipotle mayo spread on top of adobo chicken and a really unique chipotle marinara. It was superb. I would get it again in a heartbeat — although a number of the other pizza options looked very good as well. Whether you’re looking for a happy hour or a Saturday dinner or whatever, Pizza Parlor is a great option. I definitely look forward to returning.

Yet another good patio find in the West Loop, just in time for winter! The location and atmosphere is really what makes this restaurant! Large outdoor patio with covered and uncovered seating, which is open to the inside bar/dining room. Service: Our server was really good actually, which was not expected(having read some other Unilocal reviews prior to going). She was attentive, split our checks and our food came out really quickly! Our bartender, however, was NOT. Drinks: They have quite an extensive draft and bottle/cans list and some pricier cocktails($ 12 – 13 for a Moscow Mule) Food: Can’t argue with the Craziest Bread! It’s meaty, garlicky and cheesy, which is basically the recipe for delicious. I really did enjoy it! The pizza is not top notch pizza by any means, but I did enjoy the Burrata Be Kidding Me. Nice combo of Burrata cheese and greens(tricks you into think you’re eating healthy!) The Aunt Chilada’s Chicken pizza was good and spicy, but I didn’t like it as much as the Burrata. Probably wouldn’t order it again. All and all, it’s great for summer drinks and maybe late night snacks!

This is a pretty cool place, and I’m glad my friend took me here. It’s got a big open atmosphere, awesome beer selection, and great pizza. Service is just meh. They were packed on a Wednesday evening, and I suspect that it’s pretty popular throughout the week judging by the number of people who were here on a weeknight. I’m surprised the management hasn’t staffed up to meet the high demand of people. Also, one weird thing to mention is that one of our friends showed up in gym shorts and they wouldn’t let him in! Like come on, give some leniency to your patrons! This is a pizza place on a weeknight, not an up-town bar on a weekend. Our friend had to go home and change! We got the mozzarella sticks for an app, the brussel sprout pizza, and the pizza with the jalepeno sauce. The brussel sprout pizza was excellent, with no shortage of greenage. It made you feel like you were eating healthy! The jalepeno pizza was disappointing though, as I couldn’t even taste the jalepeno flavor. It was not spicy at all and surprisingly bland for the description. Beer was pretty expensive– $ 7-$ 9 for your typical Chicago drafts like Goose Island and Two Brothers. Really? Considering the number of people that runs through, you’d expect the customers to be able to catch a break. I love the restaurant inside though, the physical layout that is. The atmosphere is kind of loud, but the super tall cielings and open wood-fired pizza area is a very fun set-up. I also really enjoyed all the brick on the interior, and perfect dimness of lighting. I would return for the ambiance and«cool» factor for the interesting wood-fired pizza, but I wouldn’t be hopping to go to Parlor. Kind of expensive, and kind of snooty staff.

Great spot. The space itself is huge and the patio is awesome. Inside, they could do with a few fewer tables. Seemed overly packed in and the two tops were very small. I know my sister and I ate like fat kids but the table was so crowded when our food arrived that it was verging on uncomfortable. The food was a+ though! We started with the craziest bread which was so yummy and stuffed with the most delicious goodies. It was like a Pinterest project gone super right! We opted for the I Feel Like Bacon Love pizza. The potatoes were a great addition. We got a side of Brussels sprouts and they were a perfect addition. Vinegary with just enough lemon the cut some of the cheesy bacony pizza goodness. Will most definitely be back to try more of these stupid delicious sounding pies!

Really dug this place today. Got here on a weekday afternoon for a beer and a pizza and really enjoyed. Wildfire oven pizza comes thru. Charred yet chewy crust, great sauce, fresh ingredients. We had the margarita pizza and Abe Froman sausage pizza. Both exceptional and both came with either a cecear salad or house. Kudos to this too since they were very good actually Outdoor patio is amazing. I could hang out here all day. When it’s cold, I can stay inside and sit at the bar by the wood ovens. That’s the place to be dude. Service is ok and mostly friendly, but could see how it could turn bad when it gets full. Will come back for sure.

There were LOTS of people. Other than the challenge we had finding a table, it is a pretty cool place for after work hangout. I really enjoyed my time here even though I am not fan of eating pizza nor drinking bear. I came here for our happy hours after work. By the time, we found a few others from our group through the crowd, we realized none of us made the reservation. We were sent upstairs to get a table for 6 of us after the serious security guy(with those ear plugs you’d see on the body guards of important people) stopped us then asked seemed a million questions. A few more folk joined to us a few minutes later. They had a hard time to come upstairs too even we send one of us to get there. I went for the Stiegl Radler(Grapefruit) beer and margarita pizza. Both are exellent. I loved the wood oven burns on the very thin crust of my pizza. We shared the craziest bread which was quite different and interesting. This bread is very heavy so share it with 6 people instead of 2. Gyro pizza was pretty tasty too. Sitting on the roof top was very pleasant during a summer afternoon. The relaxing atmosphere was exact thing I was looking for after a long day at work. I liked they have the choices for me who doesn’t drink beer.

Never been to this part of West Loop, it’s kinda hidden by Greektown! But man this place is sweet and an easy walk from UIC. It was pretty busy on Sunday afternoon with the outdoor seating area jam packed and the inside about 30% full. You can have large groups here, but we came in a group of 6 and their was no wait for the inside, but their was for outside. With the amount of seating they have, and how quickly people filter in and out, I doubt you would ever have to wait for indoor seating on a nice sunny day. Anyways, we got a pizza with jalapeños! and o my goodness those things were super spicy! We all eventually had to peel some off and hide away our Indian pride for the sake of our bathroom trip the next morning. I do think the pizzas are overpriced for the portions they give. But the coolness of the place makes up for it. They have a ping pong table in the restaurant, so you can burn your calories as soon as you’re done eating. How considerate of the owner! They messed up our appetizers though, we didn’t bother sending it back due to hunger. It’s expensive for the portions they give, that’s why I couldn’t give it 5 stars. Free parking around the block!!!

My friend and I stumbled upon Parlor Pizza Bar when researching for a restaurant that has outdoor seating. We wanted to take advantage of one of the first warm days Chicago had to offer. To our surprise, the outdoor seating area had over a 2 hour wait, so we just opt for indoor seating. We were seated near the big open doors so we still could enjoy the nice day. Everything on the menu looked delicious, so we decided to share: Fried Calamari — fried with sport peppers and served with marinara and chipotle chimichurri sauce. The breading was light and flavorful and the calamari was cooked perfectly. I also enjoyed the slight spiciness from the sports peppers. But what really made this appetizer was the chipotle chimichurri sauce. It had a good kick with a bit of garlic and tang to it. Craziest Bread with Warm Marinara — parmesan, pepperoni, and cherry peppers wrapped in house beer bread topped with garlic, mozzarella, shallots, and scallion cream. Doesn’t that description just make your mouth water? If you had to get one thing, this is the thing to get! It is a giant bread filled with the most ooey gooey cheese, pepperoni, and garlicky goodness. Definitely a mess to eat, but totally worth it. On a side note, eat the bread while its piping hot because once it cools the cheese hardens and it doesn’t have that delicious gooeyness to it. Abe Froman’s Fave Pizza — house sausage, roasted red peppers, sautéed spinach, and mozzarella. We didn’t really like the pizza here. The toppings were good and flavorful, but the crust tasted like cardboard. As you can see, we ordered way too much for our tummies to intake. But we gladly took doggy bags home for a delicious meal the next day. Overall, we enjoyed everything and had a great experience. I am definitely looking forward to the next time I come here so I can get more of the crazy bread.
