This is one of my favorite stores in the neighborhood. The prices are generally cheaper than similar stores in the area(like the Middle Eastern Bakery around the corner). There’s a great selection of teas, spices, and other pantry items, as well as fresh foods. Aside from the products and prices, the owner is really nice and makes shopping there a pleasure.

Pars Persian store, sells authentic Saffron, Persian tea, Turkish coffee, dried fruits, persian sweets, basmati rice, and middle eastern seasonings. I usually get Persian tea Ahmad brand or Sadaf with cardamom flavor which has a very unique taste. Mr. Haghighi, the owner, is such a friendly person, he is always kind and helpful. He also sells beautiful tea cup sets with middle eastern designs, fancy brewing pots, Persian rugs and all sort of amazing goods. It is a place to find a unique gift for a especial person.

I accidentally stumbled upon this place while I was on my way to another store in andersonville. I am always looking for places that carry loose leaf tea and there was a sign in the window for it. First of all, the variety was surprisingly large. I prefer black tea and there were many to choose from. Secondly, they sell in(reasonable) bulk quantities. I also drink tea every day, so buying smaller amounts is ridiculous for me. In fact, after having been back a couple of times and asking for larger bags, the store owner started carrying bigger bags in which to fill with larger quantities of tea. Third, on my most recent visit, the store owner came and told me what kinds of tea were in each blend. He also made sure that I got a good mixture of the tea, giving me tips on stirring the leaves before I bagged them. He is SUPER nice. They also sell bulk spices and a variety of bulk nuts, as well as coffee and tea brewing items. It is a hidden gem.

I would have given 5 stars to this store if the salesman didn’t have bad tempor! He was very rude to me for no reason. Don’t like to go back to that store again until they change their grouchy salesman.

I love Pars Persian for its selection of affordable loose-leaf teas. They have pre-mixed selections such as Vanilla Raspberry Rooibos, Fruit of Pearls, and Apple Cinnamon, but they also have bulk selections of varietials of black, green, and rooibos teas, with jars where you can get other items(dried flowers, etc) to create your own tea blends. I go back about 4x a year to stock up!

I’ve become obsessed with Moroccan Mint tea since having it in Dubai, and I was so excited upon seeing this shop on a weekend stroll down Clark street. The selection of tea is huge, and the gentleman running the store was very kind and helpful. Very unique store with Persian jewelry, art, tea, coffee and also food and snacks. There was a really neat section in the back with old books in Arabic which was awesome.

I received a Christmas gift of an assortment of tea from Pars. So far, I’ve had two varities and both were just delicious. I can’t wait to visit and to explore more of this store’s offerings.

A wonderful store for affordable tea, coffee and spices. All kinds of apparatus for coffee and tea as well. Tea — global tea selections at bulk rate. There are a few in a box as well. Moroccan Mint Tea — smell and taste super duper minty. Steeped for 5 mins, it tasted like the real deal from restaurants without the tedious process of traditional preparation. I got this from the dark green big bin. Coffee — Mexican, Costa Rican and Jamaican beans etc. Arabic Coffee maker — fancy design, all for $ 8. Yay!

I am in love with this store! I passed by it constantly for almost a year until I finally decided to go in. The sapphron and rose ice cream was the most delicious, unusual thing i’ve ever tasted. It’s one of my favorites now and I thank Pars for having it there.

Today I visited this store for the third time with my partner. We are tea addicts! I also use a lot of spices in my ethnic cooking, so this place is perfect for us. The reviewers are right — EXCELLENT assortment of bulk teas, cheap bulk spices, and fair prices overall. We’ve also purchased the nuts — the roasted and unsalted ones, YUMMY! You’re not hassled, they’re not pushy. So why only 2 stars? While we love their merchandise, the customer service is sub-par. Today, we went to the register with two teas and the total only came up to around $ 2. I was surprised it was so cheap and turned to my partner to see if he had cash. I didn’t want to pay for such a paltry sum using my card. We didn’t have cash. I asked the older man behind the register if he would take the card(I didn’t see a sign for a minimum card purchase), and proceeded to get YELLED at! «NOTHISISRIDICULOUS. $ 8MINIMUM! CASHFORTHIS.» I turned to my partner and told him to get more tea, while I grabbed some nuts. Our new total was $ 18, we paid with card, and left without saying a word. No apology, nothing. My White American and very culturally-competent partner played devil’s advocate and attributed the interaction to a language barrier. But I’ve interacted with my fair share of middle easterners and Muslims in America because I’m one myself. I saw it for what it is: rudeness. Not sure if we’ll come back here again…

Went here looking for Persian tea similar to the one I had at Noon O Kebab. The woman working there was very nice after I started talking to her and willing to explain the many(at least 40+) different teas they carry. Although we sometimes had difficulty understanding each other, we were eventually able to figure it out and I picked out two delicious smelling teas. They carry all different varieties of tea including Japanese maatcha, which another customer had been looking all over for. Also picked up green cardamon which is supposed to be great for cooking and rose water.

I really like this place for loose leaf teas. The selection is unbeatable and the prices are very reasonable – unlike some uppity, chain stores that charge an arm and a leg for a mere few ounces. They also have tons of tea and coffee brewing paraphernalia, which also reasonably priced. I bought a small, stove-top espresso maker and a French press from here – brand names you’d pay more elsewhere. This is definitely my go-to place to stock up on teas, coffees and other goods.

Looks like a great place to get loose and bagged tea along with seasonings and spices if you know what you’re looking for. They also have lots of knickknacky stuff and unique mini pots and hookahs. I walked in here with my sister and although there seemed to be a few people either working there or possibly just hanging out, we weren’t acknowledged in the slightest bit. I walked in to find some saffron and as I walked through the place and didn’t notice any, I walked back out. Had someone said hello, I would of felt less intimidated about asking about the wonderful spice. They didn’t even look at us. Were we were invisible? I don’t think I had my invisibility cloak on at the time so it didn’t make much sense. Oh well, I may return, only if I cannot find saffron anywhere else since I know they do carry it from previous reviews.

A very unique store, no joke! Step in here and you think, WOOW! Your eyes become dizzy from not being sure of what to look at. Yet, you don’t faint due to the peaceful scent of fresh teas. They have hooka items, belly dancing outfits, furniture, foreign food products, pots and the TEASELECTION! Jeeez! That’s what reeled me in here. They have a full wall of it and all at great prices. They also have large plastic canisters of loose-leaf tea for $ 14.99 a pound(can’t say I’d ever be able to drink that). However, I disliked how these teas were not in air-sealed canisters, yet they did smell tea-licious. I mean the best teas origins do come from the Middle East, get yours here!
