We have rented violins from Paul and just purchased our first violin for our 12-​year-​old fiddler. Paul made the process easy, was patient in educating me about violins, and both of her teachers love the fiddle that he sold us.

I was scammed on Craigslist and got a shoddy cello! What’s a girl to do???
Thank goodness for Paul — he repaired my cello the same day I brought it in! He also gave me a great lesson in cello anatomy (I’m a newbie and kind of clueless about such things). He was very friendly and knowledgeable and I felt very comfortable in his studio. My cheap cello sounds infinitely better now that Paul worked his magic on it!
He was recommended to me by the Old Town School of Folk Music. He does construction, sales, rentals, and repairs for violas, violins, cellos and double basses.
Also, much thanks to the bike shop downstairs who were so sweet to babysit my cello for me until Paul was back to accept it!
