Pohlman Daniel MD

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Pohlman. I’ve been seeing him for more than 20 years for annual physicals. major illnesses, minor ailments, and hopefully no attacks of hypochondria. If I ever presented myself with latter, he’s kept it to himself.
Dr. Pohlman is very thorough, explains everything clearly, involves me in care decisions and is always a great listener, answering as many intelligent and stupid questions as I have. He’s never seemed rushed, despite the need for internal medicine docs to keep adding patients to their busy days to make ends meet. (And despite the fact that he’s affiliated with «Rush» University Medical Center.) His Loop office is very convenient to me.

I once had to have surgery as an inpatient at Rush, and he even stopped by my room in the hospital to check-​in on me, despite having no need to. Now THAT’S a caring doc.
