Poppie’s Bakeshop

After buying party favors from dulcelandia next door I decided to check out the bakery next door. The cakes and pastries look good but unfortunately I did not buy anything because I asked for help and the woman at the counter yelled at me asking what do you want and what are you doing here! I told her very calmly because I had my ten year old with me and I wanted to keep calm because I’m a parent that must set an example I told her I wanted to ask about a cake for a birthday and i would appreciate you not speak to me that way. She said I speak to you with my mouth anyway I want. I asked to speak to her manager and she said no one is here. If you want to order a cake u call customer service! The bakers in the back then came up front and asked if everything was alright and I told them what had happened. The baker said he would get the manager. The woman attendant started to ask me if she could help me. I ignored her and she tried to help me and I told her I would wait for the manager. She sure did change her tune quickly. I told the manager that I was there with the intention to order one of their beautiful cakes but after this terrible treatment I would not. He apologized and I was on my way. Sorry Poppies you get a bad rating because of the terrible front service. I don’t think she is very happy working there and if you remove the woman I might reconsider walking back in there.

I have had their banana nut muffins at the Peggy Nature Museum & it’s one of the best muffins I have ever had!!! It’s so good that every time I visit the Museum I must have 1! Which is not good cuz I’m a member there lol. They’re so good I’m planning to go check out the bakery that makes them so I can give them their 5^th star!!! I did not want to give a 5 star rate solely on a muffin, I don’t think that would be far to other bakeries. But if this was all they made, they would definitely get the 5^th star!
