My boyfriend and I came in on a Sunday, a little before dinner, the place was slightly dead… not exactly what I expected but I didn’t let that ruin the evening. I have to say that the atmosphere is pretty cool, I didn’t know what to expect with this visit being my first time. Overall the food was ok(see attached photos) and my Boyfriend and I had an ok time! Our visit could’ve been better, there were a few things — service wise — that definitely took some points off the overall experience. The service wasn’t as attentive, our server definitely made it clear that he didn’t want to be there. The server usually helps set the mood, unfortunately it was very clear from the beginning that my Boyfriend and I would have to bite our tongues on a few things… We just didn’t think we’d be right!!! As far as service was concerned, Yes — our waiter checked on us a few times but never engaged. The service was cold and slightly uncomfortable and I made it a point to ignore it. It seemed very uncomfortable and difficult to ASK for a refill. You can’t expect me to ration a plastic cup(smaller than a Beer Pong Cup) that is 70% ice and 30% 7UP… are you kidding me?! Anyways, we started with the Nachos and I have to say that I fell in love! I’m a big Nachos girl and Reggie’s Nachos are high up on my list. I ordered the Veggie Burger En Fuego — With Fried Onions and an Egg on top — Side of French Fries. My Boyfriend ordered the Ribeye Steak Sandwich — Hold the onions — with a side of Mashed Potatoes(A suggestion that was made by the waiter himself). *** Can you guess how his came out? *** The sandwich came out with what looked like extra onions & French Fries — Seriously?! My Boyfriend being a kind well mannered man he ignored the mistake… I on the other hand was shocked and a little disappointed considering we were 1 of 4 tables. It wasn’t busy at all and you’d think the service would reflect that. WRONG! I enjoyed my food and my Boyfriend was indifferent about his. I feel like we were kindof cheated out of what could’ve been a great night! Obviously, I am not a fan of the lack of service… Get it together!

Ambiance: downstairs has many cool retro rock and Chicago posters and paraphernalia and is dimly lit, I’d expect shows to be very fun here; there’s also a roofdeck that’s open in the summer Service: nothing bad, nothing special Food: no dining this time Drinks: spectacular specials and a big variety; I had a Bloody Mary that was interesting b/c they added Guinness to it but it was still tasty

Love this place. Food is great and plentiful. Salads are fresh(love the south west salad!!!) french fries are freshly cut, burgers are a good size and who can’t resist $ 1 tacos and ½ price draft beers on Mondays. By the way, awesome draft selection. Sometimes service may be slow but we live in the neighborhood and for all the times we’ve been here, we are happy with the service and staff. Not many places have consistent staff and this is one of them, which I think speaks a lot for the place. Check out a show at one of their spots.

Very Poor service! Bartenders took forever to bring our food and the expensive drinks weren’t worth it! We will not be supporting this establishment ever again!

While on a road trip this past summer, I stopped at a bar in Savannah, GA. I met a cool couple who told me they worked/owned this place. Since I was planning on coming in town to see a show at The House of Blues, I decided to look it up and see if I could stop by while I was in town. Turns out it is also a concert venue, that a different band my BF and I love was playing the night we flew in! We did not have time to eat there, but the venue was cool. Prices of beer and booze was reasonable, I am so glad we got to go!!!

One of my favorite live music venues in Chicago. Awesome sound/acoustics. Sometimes their selection is a little different from my personal tastes, but that is a matter of opinion. I recommend seeing a show here if you are ever in the area.

Staff was rude and made me the butt of a joke for no reason when I was there for a friend’s concert. Will never go back.

This is an interesting place. Décor and feel is very edgy so fits the rock name. If you like that feel u will love it here. I enjoyed some great 40 cent wings with my parents on tuesday. This is an awesome deal the wings are tasty and very large. Def worth stopping by on a Tuesday for a good deal. I did enjoy a long island, and some Malibu drink. Drinks are very basic but I feel like they are strong. Would visit again for the wings but wouldn’t frequent here often, really didn’t care for the atmosphere.

Impressive music venue/bar in south loop, you can listen to live music on the first floor, or visit the large record/movie store on the second floor, or you can go to the 3rd floor to the regular bar and play pool and watch TV, all the floors are pretty cool, parking isnt too bad or you can get off at the green line 22nd street stop, always a good time there

I loved the BBQ wings, the chicken sandwich was just okay… better after I added BBQ sauce. I’m not into rock and I certainly didn’t feel like I fit it, but the staffed didn’t acknowledge that. Probably won’t go back but enjoyed it just for something different from a chain Resturant. The patio looked cool. Might go back for that if its not too hot.

We been here many times with friends for the White Sox game day deals. Is all summer long almost every other Sunday. Is $ 12 and that includes all you can eat at Reggie’s(chicken, hotdogs, hamburgers etc.) and a a ticket and free shuttle to the White Sox game. Now that Is a Sunday Funday all for $ 12!!! The also have great drinks and beer specials. They have a awesome rooftop you can enjoy while you eat. Check their website for the game schedules. Get your friends together for a fun and cheap Sunday funday!!!

I went with my cousins and my best friend to attend the Pancakes and Booze Art Show. The artists that were showcased were very talented. It was great to see a variety of artists with different styles come together and be able to express themselves via their art. When we first arrived the vibe was very laid back, relaxing music in the background and we were able to walk around and talk with the artists and look at most of the exhibits. As the night progressed a DJ came out, the music got louder and it became difficult to talk with the artists that were placed 15 feet from the stage and the speakers. The DJ was good and the music was good it was just loud and made ir difficult to talk with tge artisists. We went outside and ordered some appetizers and then went back in. By this time the band was on the stage and there were drunk, rude and ignorant people all in front of the stage. Yes the band was good and we enjoyed the music but to place artists 15 feet from the stage with drunken patrons who are leaning against the makeshift walls and artists pieces are being knocked off and broken. Security was NONEXISTENT. When I went to the page and posted my comments they were removed. When artists posted that their work was damaged the people in charge of their social media deleted those comments as well This was our first time at Reggies and while the venue itself looked cool this event was poorly planned and executed. The fact that they ignore the artists and then delete my comments as well as theirs and do not even have the common courtesy to respond is unacceptable and cowardly. I will NOT be going to this establishment for any kind of function or just to hang out. Very disappointed in this place.

Music club and bar on the first floor? Record store on the 2nd? Rooftop patio? All in one place? Hell yeah! Shuttles to various concerts and sporting events? Free? Package deals to concerts and sporting events? Are you kidding me? Especially the Sox games on Sunday. Haven’t had any of their menu food, but the buffet before the Sox games I’ve been to has been decent. It’s cheap buffet food so if you are expecting to be blown away you need to evaluate what you are doing here in the first place. I’ve sure ate my fill while there without complaints. Beer selection is quite good for a place that advertises itself as a music joint and is quite divey. It’s a music joint. Know that when you go there. It’s not an ultra lounge. It’s not some trendy hipster mixology place. Love heading there during summer visits to Chicago.

Great thing about this place is that it is close to home and they have daily drink specials. It is also very chilled. Other than that, I think service can be better which can make the whole experience more enjoyable.

I had a bad first experience here and because of that I will not be back and I definitely would not recommend it to others. Food was mediocre to poor, but the one thing that really turned us off was the bad service. Our waitress was accommodating, sat us wherever we wanted to be seated, and approached us in a timely manner to take down our order. We were starving and wanted to get started with an appetizer, so we ordered their«best in the city» chicken wings with buffalo sauce. We waited, and waited… and waited. While we waited, our waitress was seated a few tables away from us chatting with either a customer or another waitress. Boyfriend was cranky from hunger and his crankiness started getting me cranky. Finally, food comes from one of the guys(assuming cook) in the back. Our entrees were placed in front of us, but not the wings. We let him know, he interrupts the seated waitress from her conversation, and she scurries to the back. We wait a few minutes more and finally get our wings. When asked if the order for the wings was put in, she just told us that it was, but a rush of people came up to the rooftop because it started getting nice out and the cook was really busy. No apologies, just excuses. Never did she come back to ask us how the food was or if we needed anything. She was actually by one of the registers off to our side, on her phone while it was plugged into the wall. She certainly was more attentive to her phone than to us. We had to flag her down to get a knife for the burger and then for the bill. As for the food… I was really craving nachos and decided to order them as an entrée. However, these were the worst nachos I’ve ever had in my entire life. Tortillas were really greasy, meat and melted cheese were dry and tasteless, tomatoes were slushy, and I couldn’t find any onion. My high school cafeteria did a better job with nachos and I found myself longing for them instead of his pile of disgust. The only thing I enjoyed on the plate were the japalenos. I felt like I was eating crunchy, rubbery grease with jalapenos. I think I forced myself to eat about an eighth of the entire dish… what a waste of $ 12.50! The buffalo wings were decent in size but I didn’t think they were the city’s best. They tasted like typical hot wings to me. It was as if they were tossed once in some kind of hot sauce and served to us. The burger was alright. After the unsatisfying food, we actually went to another restaurant in Little Italy. Total let-down!

We had a group of about 15 people for dinner and drinks on a Saturday night a few weeks ago. Our male server(black guy wearing stocking cap) made for a terrible experience. As he would come around we could smell the fresh weed he had just smoked. Over the course of 3 hours, I’d say he smoked at least 5 – 6 times. It’s one thing to get high at work, but it made a mess of him. He made a lot of mistakes on the food including forgetting to place an entire order. We closed the group tab and generous tip and got our last round or 2 at the bar while listening to the band. He came over an hour later and said he accidentally deleted a whole batch of credit card payments. We had to deal with a disaster trying to charge our cards again(seemed shady) and some people had already left. No management present, they just let their employees run wild.

I came here on a Tuesday evening for their wing special. They had live music and charged a cover fee of $ 5 a person, but it got you a beer. The catch is, you have to buy an additional beer to get the wing special price of 40cents per wing. Lame, if you ask me, since we didn’t come for the music and wasn’t planning on drinking that night. We just wanted to eat some wings! Anyways, we got buffalo wings and buffal-q wings. The buffalo flavor is a bit spicy but delicious. The buffal-q isn’t too bad either. It just tasted like spicy bbq flavor to me. We got side orders of fries, cheese fries, & mac and cheese. The fries were nothing to rave about, the cheese fries were better than the regular fries, and the mac and cheese was probably our best side order we had. Overall the food was pretty good.

Pros: Street parking Okay drinks(I’ve been spoiled so not many places are fantastic) Different types of music Attracts mid level artist and Grammy award winners Converts nicely into a sports bar or a place to have bar food and laughs Large dance floor and a large seating area — this place is just BIG! Cons: The vibe of the place changes based on the type of music they play so some nights it’s not as diverse. -

I told myself I wouldn’t leave anymore negative reviews and I would talk to the staff on site. However, there was no one to talk to in this case. It’s definitely a busy Tuesday, I understand that. My friend arrived at a table at least 10mins earlier than I did and we still waited to be serviced. While we were eating, we witnessed our server tend to other tables and bypass us. I left the outside and went to my server at the bar to ask for to go boxes for our food. I then went to the bar and asked if there was a manager on duty. Her response was, «I don’t know. She’s probably upstairs dealing with something important.» I’m a server, I understand busy but I don’t appreciate being forgotten and then bring treated like I’m unimportant. Wings were cool as far as taste, drinks were alright. But the lack of service makes me not want to return. I did talk to my server and it seems there was a miscommunication between her and who took my order but there’s a bad taste in my mouth and I more than likely will not return. On a more positive note, the music was excellent! But service is what keeps me coming back.
