Nice selection of liquor. But it must be nice to have a local cop their all the time, nice to see my tax money in use. Cuz them streets are to safe.

After moving to Chicago about 2 years ago I told my family back in Michigan that surprisingly even though Chicago is a large city it has some of the friendliest people a person could want to meet. The family that runs this store is a fine example of what I was telling my family about the people here. I know it’s good business to be nice to the customers, but these fine folks take it up another level. They make you feel like they really are glad to see you. Other businesses could learn a lot from these people!
As far as what they have available in their store it’s a typical convenience store with a good selection of beer, liquor, pop, chips cigarettes, candy and of course a selection of a few common staples that you might find you need in a pinch but don’t feel like going all the way to a grocery store to get. The prices are pretty typical of convenience store pricing. They do have a parking lot so you don’t have to worry about finding on street parking.
One big advantage of patronizing this store is that a lot of the local police like to take their breaks at this store so it’s not uncommon to have 2 or more uniformed officers in the store when you walk in. I don’t think of this area as a high crime area, but it’s nice to know that the odds of this store ever getting robbed are about nonexistent due to the police presence. You can feel safe going here at any time of night. With the regular appearances of police at this store a person would have to be really stupid to ever try and rob it.
With the super friendly service here it truly deserves the 5 star rating that I and others have rated it. Stop in, I’m sure you’ll end up agreeing.

I love that this is a family owned and run business! They always have a great selection of liquor. Also, I never worry about parking because they have a parking lot. This place is clean, safe, and organized! Thank you S&L!
