Very nice people… FYI they don’t do nails anymore.

–Elena is my hair stylist who is also the owner does an excellent job in cutting hair. I have been a client of hers for 5 years now and never have been disappointed in my haircut. I have gotten my hair dyed by her twice and touch up once.
–The first time was to do a huge change from brown hair to blonde base with different shades of highlights which I LOVED!
–Then went back for touch up which was also very satisfied. It did damage my hair somewhat but thats normal I suppose for blonde.
–Then one other occasion went back to get my hair dyed from brown (again) to red. I’ve always dyed my own hair when it comes down to one color tone, I just wanted to see if going to a professional was a difference. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED! I’ve done way better job myself than that. The color did not show what so ever and was expensive for the job done. Learned my lesson to always do it myself.
–Other than that, the pricing for just cut is $ 20 but with blow-​dry & straightener is close to $ 40. Which is expensive in my opinion. But oh well.
— Love Elena, but cutting down on the price would definitely wouldn’t hurt me go touch up, dye, or trim my hair more than twice a year.

Mikey is the best at color and cut. I have been to many salons around the city, not always happy with the results. Mikey knows what he is doing. He has colored and cut my hair several times, and I always leave happy. He is the type that will make sure your hair is healthy, rather than over process it just for the $$. The prices are reasonable. He is great!

This salon is actually on Armitage and Albany, not North. I live nearby and was hoping to get my eyebrows waxed. Everything about the experience was amazing.
1. I walked in hoping they would take a walk-​in and viola! They told me to have a seat. I love not waiting!
2. The girl that waxed my eyebrows was great. She put some kind of powder on before the wax so it didn’t burn my skin, and even after having had my brows waxed a bunch, this was the first time there was absolutely no pain. Awesome!
3. What did it set me back? $ 8 plus tip. Schwanky salons be damned.
They only do facial waxing there as well as hair and nails, and it seems really family friendly with conversations between customers and kids hanging out while their mom gets her hair styled.

this review so far is only for the nail service, like a moron i didn’t ask her name but she’s the only nail technician there. she is awesome. i went for a basic manicure yesterday at their new location on armitage and she was just amazing. she actually talks to you not like most places that just talk amongst themselves in another language. There’s also a lady that does eyebrow threading, a male barber and a stylist. they have a little kids area with a table and chairs, toys and coloring supplies. the basic manicure was great and only $ 10
