Open 24 hrs a day except on holidays, they have single loads, up to 8 loads. Prices are standard, they also have detergent, dryer sheets etc etc if you forget or are too lazy to stop at a store… lol. Seemed pretty clean, with a lot of washers and dryers available. Also an important detail, they do not use coins. You must purchase a «money card» to load money onto which is $ 3. The card is refundable same day only, otherwise it’s yours forever, which you reload with money every time you do laundry.

WARNING! THEINFORMATIONONHEREISWRONG! 4857 N. Broadway is nowhere near Granville or Loyola, as this site would have you believe. It’s a shame you can’t just report errors on here. Anyway, this place is definitely a step up from your typical laundromat. It’s got plenty of machines with different capacities(machines do from 1 load to 5 loads… huh-huh…huh-huh…), and the vast majority of them work. There are 2 coin machines, vending, table seating, wi-fi. I am NOT a fan of laundromats in general, so for me to give this place 4 stars, it has to be pretty good by comparison!

This place isn’t too shabby. Plenty of washers and dryers so you’ll never have to wait for one. All dryers are a quarter for about 25 minutes. The washers range from $ 2.00 for the single load machine, to $ 5.00 for the five load machine. I’m not quite sure how much constitutes a load, but unless you have a closet full of laundry, you’ll probably be using the double or single load machines. There are usually little kids running around and doing their own thing, but that’s just what I’ve come to expect with the laundromat community.

I had a good experience here. I was looking for a large laundromat that had a lot of big machines so I wouldn’t feel like I was hogging the place, and I found it! It wasn’t that crowded on a Saturday afternoon, which was a huge bonus. The staff were very helpful. I like that the machines take quarters and not those foolish cards. If I ever let my laundry go that long again I would definitely come back here.

After my horrible experience at the Happy wash, I decided to try another laundry service. LOL, Well, being so busy I decided to drop off my laundry instead of actually staying to do it. Done in two days which is fast in my book. And the clothes were folded beautifully. My only gripe would be the soap or softener they used smells very .99cent storish. Friendly staff, clean facility as well as cool shops in the plaza. All in all I will DEFINETLY be bringing my clothes back.

This is a decent laundromat within walking distance of my apartment. Machines are clean, efficient, and fairly priced — anywhere from $ 2.00 — $ 5.00 for a wash cycle, depending on what size machine you select(one– to five– loaders available), and $.25 for twenty minutes on the dryer. And there are enough machines that I’ve never had to wait for one, even though I go at peak times like Sunday afternoons. The atmosphere leaves a little to be desired, but it is a laundromat, so I’m not expecting too much. There are a few seats scattered through out the rows and two pinic-like tables over by the vending machines. Some folding tables have TVs, but I almost never watch them. There can be some loud and/or rambunctious children running about, but other than that everyone pretty much keeps to themselves. I can do my laundry here faster and cheaper than using the crap machines in my basement so that’s good enough for me. There is drop-off service, but I’ve never used it.

Rude Service. Bathroom for customers only but sign says only that! So if you buy from their vending machines, you would think that you would be considered a customer but you would be wrong! To be fair, it is a big place with a lot of up to date machines but still a skip it because of the rude service!

pros: –plenty of machines, all seem clean, most work. –ice cream vending machine! –25¢ hot chocolate dispenser that was just what i needed. i drank 8. cons: –2 things that i never want to see running loose: kids and cockroaches. with a couple of muzzles and an exterminator, i might be convinced to go back.

I LOVE this place! It’s always very clean, well lit, they have TONS of machines that always work properly, and the best thing is they’re open until midnight! They also have different sized washing machines so you can wash anywhere from 1 – 5 loads at once! AND they have an ice cream machine. The employees are nice, too. And their change machine works. I’ve never had a bad experience-I will always take my laundry here.

I am mixed with my feelings about this place. I used to love it. I figured you could wash your laundry and explore the atmosphere of uptown. Inside this great laundry mat one can watch TV and play pacman. However, one can also get towed and charged $ 170. Yep Unilocalsters. DONOTGOON A WALKWHILEWASHINGYOURCLOTHES!!! They will tow you and say you can not leave the property without your car. It does not matter that you are using their facilities. It will be your most expensive visit to the laundry mat.
