Thanks for the services in surgery and Skilled Nursing to ensure a healthy home transition. Not always easy but they managed me delicately and professionally. Going home Tuesday in much better shape than when I arrived. So much respect for Drs. Bacha, Litchenbaum, Kahn, Phan, nurses extraordinaire, James Carrington, and others whose names I can’t remember, but whose energies and efforts I appreciate.

Why oh why did I choose HMO instead of PPO? Oh yeah, I’m cheap & don’t make that much $$ so I went with the cheaper option for insurance. It hasn’t been too bad & I’m still not convinced I’m going to switch over when the time presents itself, buuuut this health center kinda turned me in that direction. Pros: 1) Called last Monday & had an appointment Friday 2) Receptionists were very nice 3) Dr. Tatiana Batista(my doctor) came in to say a quick hello & ask some questions to make sure I felt comfortable with her before she told me «take everything off, including bra & panties»(have you ever heard a doctor say panties? I hadn’t!) 4) Dr. Batista was very aware of how much my insurance would cover & made sure to stay within those limits 5) Quick & close to my home Cons: 1) Not sure the waiting room is dirty or just kinda old & dim, but was not a fan 2) The bathroom was soooo disgusting & dirty 3) Caters to spanish speaking patients, which I wish was but am not 4) Not very personable I’m not completely fed up with this center yet, but will remember not to go into the bathroom. EVER. If anything changes, I’ll let you know.
