A perfectly average(3 stars) Starbucks. My drink was ready quickly and was prepared correctly, the space was clean with wifi and outlets, and the cashiers were nice. Probably a good option for a Monday morning commute when you need a little caffeine boost.

Rude! We opened the door and an employee yelled something and we walked in as she repeatedly kept yelling«we’re closed» and a non uniformed person walked at us to block our path. The lights were on, the door was open and the attitude of the staff and other person was uncalled for. The random person said she forgot to lock the door — and that’s justification for yelling at me and my wife?

Good God. This place is awful. If you’re in anyway in a rush(and for this place I guess a rush would be considered an hour) do. not. go. here. I ordered their Molten Chocolate Latte. All the chocolate I could want, I thought… Ya… That’s not the case. I got my drink after about 20 minutes and it tasted like water with one chocolate morsel meted inside… What? I paid $ 4.50 for this? Gross. I sent it back because they must have made it wrong… Got it back and it was actually more watery. He said the chocolate has a little water. I had to leave my drink there and have my sister deliver it to me because I had a meeting. This place is so slowwwwww and my drink was still awful. I added a hot chocolate packet from work to make it taste better but now I know not to waste my time or money at that Starbucks…

The location itself is very conveniently located, clean and quite large compared to other Starbucks in the Loop. I should state that I am NOT a Starbucks fan — in fact I think their coffee generally tastes burnt and leaves a nasty taste in your mouth. I typically avoid Starbucks at all costs. But I was craving a cappuccino today and this is the only place I know of that carries coconut milk so I figured I’d give it a try(I don’t consume dairy or soy). The cappuccino tasted, as expected, severely burnt. The coconut milk was not the full fat, full of flavor coconut milk I was hoping for but rather a watery version. I drink Silk unsweetened coconut milk at home, and this tasted nothing like that. It frankly reminded me of skim milk — thin and flavorless. Skip this. I’d have been better off throwing my $ 5 in the trash can.

This is a solid Starbucks. The employees make drinks really quickly despite long lines and are generally pretty friendly. I also really like that this location has high ceilings. They make what would otherwise be a small store feel pretty open. So why the 3 stars? Because of the sketchy people who sit in the store. At least 85% of the people sitting in this Starbucks regardless of the time of day look /act like they’re homeless. The one or two times when I actually tried to sit and have coffee there I felt uncomfortable. Last time I was there the guy across from me was angrily talking to himself. This is definitely a grab and go location.

This is my Starbucks and quite frankly the highlight of my workday. The staff who works here is wonderful– happy, friendly people who seem to love their jobs. They’re super fast also.

This Starbucks is my favorite go to(it’s next door from my job)… Everyone is super friendly and knowledgeable about the product. Personally I have a very complicated order and when I tell the barista at other locations I get smart comments and looks BUT not this place that’s have been nothing but helpful and fast. It can be a line out the door and they can have everyone served within 10 minutes! I go in there almost every day to the point where they know my name it’s like my own personal cheers. I have even seen some of the hopefully outside of the job if they have been nothing but friendly and always making me laugh.

Great Starbucks! Always tons of people in line in the morning, but don’t let that turn you away. They someone fly through the line. And lately, I’ve been getting my drink super fast! Love this location, and will continue being a regular.

The WORST location I have ever been to. Ordered a venti iced coffee with 2% and hazelnut. I received a venti hazelnut milk. It took 7 minutes to get my drink and another 5 to have them dump some out and replace with coffee. Only two baristas working at 4:00pm and the seating area was filthy. I understand circumstances like call offs happen but the guy making the coffees was so sloppy and mad it was awkward. For what I spend in a Starbucks, I expect a thank you and coffee in my cup. Too many Starbucks around to go here again.

Always slow, the staff is rude and I’m pretty sure they have their own recipes. Ordered a #basic SVL and not sure what I got.

Drinks were fine, but the music and atmosphere were loud. Myself and another patron requested that the music be lowered and the female cashier actually rolled her eyes… Nice.

I love starbucks. I’m a starbucks junkie. I need my coffee. That being said I’ve visited hundreds of starbucks around the country and this ranks as one of the worst!!! Located in the floor of the chase tower you would expect awesome service right? Wrong. After waiting in line with the rest of my coffee hungry peers and ordering my usual, I went to pay and asked to use my free reward and the barista literally stopped me, turned around and told the other barista to stop making my drink, then turned around and told me they can’t take that coupon at their location! Totally fine I said, I can use it another time, but to assume I wouldn’t be purchasing my drink as a result was sort of rude and offensive. They did, however, make my drink right so I guess there’s something to be said for that…

A quality Starbucks. I usually go rush hour when it’s mayhem in the loop and they have their system down well. It’s a little awkward in line when you’re waiting for your coffee after you’ve paid and the next person is approaching the register, but it works and you usually only have to wait about 8 seconds(for real). They keep it pretty tidy with two condiment stations and a bathroom for customers. A good amount of seating.

Fine setting, fine service. Curiously, this location doesn’t have a scanner for the barcodes that allow you to pay with your Starbucks card in the mobile app. This is the only location I’ve seen without one in the past year. They also told me today I can’t redeem the free drinks in my account. I’ve been able to use my card here before by giving them the numbers instead of scanning, so I don’t know if the reward redemption problem is related to the lack of scanners.

I came to this Starbucks is because my regular one is closed for renovations. What a train wreck. I ordered a grande skim latte and regular oatmeal. Got the oatmeal right away, then proceeded to wait over 15 minutes for my latte. After a few minutes went by, I asked the barista who basically just said my order back to me and continued working. No latte. Asked again. Still no latte. Asked a third time and finally got another barista to make the drink. I get to my office and open the oatmeal and apparently they can’t be bothered to put enough water it in, because it was at least ½ dry oats. Come on, this isn’t rocket science. If you can’t handle the morning rush, then find some new people who can. Also, I’d recommend going to the location on Jackson and Wabash. They’ve super efficient!

This is definitely my favorite Starbucks location in the Loop. It is conveniently on the way to my office so I stop by a few times a week for my tall, sugar-free vanilla soy latte. Yes, I’m one of *those* coffee drinkers. This location trumps the rest since it is large, open and airy. I despise the tiny, cramped locations where you can hardly move about due to the sheer number of people inside. Heaven forbid you have a bag or other items. It’s just a pain. At this location, you have enough room so you don’t feel like you’re on top of someone. The morning crew works like a well-oiled machine. Oftentimes, another employee will ask the customers waiting in line what they can get started for them. That’s a nice way to expedite the process. All the employees who have rung me up have been friendly and efficient. As far as the baristas making the drinks, once again, they run like a speedy well-oiled machine. They make the drinks pretty quickly too so don’t be intimated if you see a long line. It usually moves quickly. I haven’t had to wait too long for my drinks either. It does get a little loud in there so be sure to listen up for your drink or you’ll have the barista screaming your beverage order lots of times or someone may take it by mistake. Coffee wise, my latte tastes great and is consistently made right every time. Bottom line, definitely worth popping by if you’re in need of a caffeine fix before/during/after work.

This is the worst Starbucks out there. My drinks are never made correctly. Most recently, I ordered a green tea lemonade. When the barista called my order, I realized the drink lacked lemonade. When I asked if there was lemonade in the drink, she said no, you ordered a green tea. Low and behold when I looked on the side of my drink, it said GTL. What happened to the customer is always right? Today, I went back in to try again and once again ordered a Green Tea Lemonade. I watched the drink be made and watched no lemonade be added. When my name was called, I asked again if there was lemonade in the drink, and the barista told me yes. SHEBLATANTLYLIEDTOME. So I was stuck with a nasty drink because I am not the kind to be confrontational. These are not the only 2 instances of my drinks being made poorly/wrong and I have heard others complain while I was in there. They recently upgraded the store, but it seems like what they really need to do is upgrade their staff.

The food/beverage being«Starbucks» quality is the saving grace for this location. Service is definitely not something you’d expect from a Starbucks! The staff treats customers like products on an assembly line with no courtesy, friendliness or smile on their faces. The baristas seem apathetic about their jobs. This is the worst Starbucks I’ve ever been to in the city.

Came in for a quick frap fix. The cashier guy was very nice and courteous. Frap wasn’t the best I had though. Also, the staff seems to be very nice and informative. Lady in front of me was trying to order tea and she had questions about them and this lady was informing her about the differences. Nice!
