Server was friendly enough at 6 in the morning.
I ordered a meatball sandwich, a footlong. It was $ 8, which isn’t terrible, except that the bread was mushy and the meatballs quite limp and lacking flavor.
Then again, it is Subway, and it isn’t meant to be gourmet food. There are much better sandwich options for that price

I went there on May 13 in the evening. There was no one else in the place while I was there. The guy working there was on a bluetooth when I walked in, and proceeded to CONTINUE talking while I was ordering and paying. I can’t remember the last time someone was that rude. TERRIBLE service.

It should not be this stressful to order a sandwich. Seriously. They have like 7 people working on every flipping order and my sandwich gets effed up about 60% of the time.

The server tried to spread half of the meat portion across an entire foot long! The steak is already premeasured for christ’s sake, it’s pretty obvious when you only see one box empty instead of two (I ordered the foot long steak & cheese). When I brought it up, the guy said that he had used two boxes; thanks for insulting my eyesight. That’s it… last time I’m coming here. Would give 0 stars if I could.

This is the Subway where I usually got at least one meal every 1 – 2 days while studying for the bar exam at nearby Chicago Kent Law School. Nothing really exciting about it; just your standard Subway. I believe they charge the higher price ($ 2.69, as opposed to the standard $ 2.49) for the daily special, which with Chicago’s ridonkulous taxes pushes the price to $ 3.08. That’s irksome. But they did give extra fixin’s when requested, and that’s huge in my book. Tiny seating area; the seats even encroach into the sandwich line, which was annoying. A pretty average Subway overall.

I usually LOVE Subway. But this one is lacking in all forms of goodness. The bread is just SUB par from any other Subway in the loop (or anywhere for that matter) and crumbs can be found all over from its flakeyness. The people working there always seem to have a bad additude, AND to top it off!!! they want 25 cents for refills on their soda which lacks of soda syrup.
OK …Lets talk about how they are in the loop with an 847 phone # on the Subway site. Just a shady buisness if you ask me… cutting corners and cutting customers!!!
