I was playing«mom’s chauffeur services» and wanted to get a little something for my charges to munch on for the return trip, so I spied this Subway before I dropped them off and thought — that’s the place — name recognition goes a long way. After dropping off my charges I returned and found it to be just like any other Subway restaurant, however rather small as if carved out of the corner. The parking area was a bit uninviting, the pavement was patchy and uneven which fit with the neighborhood… Ah, but don’t judge a book by it’s cover my pretty. Inside was a Subway. I was a new face, so the staff seemed a bit surprised and just went along with my nervous bubbly-ness. I got two subs that were identical, but wanted something for me… For whatever reason the man behind the counter offered falafel — which blew my socks off. I had no idea that Subway offered falafel and just had to had some. The man behind the counter seemed equally amused and pleased that he was successful in sharing his wares. He warmed them for me and I left with all of my goodies. As for the taste of the falafel — I have experienced better, but Subway deserves a star for even having falafel as an option. The other stars are for the service and efficiency that I received my order, which was quickly devoured by my charges upon my return. The parking lot was a distraction as was the area — but not so much the fault of the Subway — however, they could do some enhancements of the parking area and sidewalks — flower boxes or something. Sometimes, places look a tad scary on the outside, but once inside there’s a diamond hiding.
