I’m not a big fan of subway meat so I just get a veggie on wheat foot long. This subway is always clean and the what seems like the owner is super friendly! I can tell that he takes good care of his business, and it shows!

Been coming to this Subway for years. Never had a problem with the food or service. Always a clean location, & the workers have always been fast & friendly with my order. They do like to always offer me «cookies» and usually I say no but sometimes… hey I want a few chocolate chip cookies after my sub! I like to dine in & sit at the window to people watch. Wish they had a garbage can or place to dispose of your straw paper by the fountain drinks. Good job Subway… see you soon!

We moved back to Lincoln Square about a year ago, and this is our favorite Subway. The owner is very nice, as is the staff. They remember what I get(unless I change it), and I usually come prepared with my receipt filled out for a free cookie. I’m a Subway junkie, anyway, but this Subway is the best!

Subway is my go-to fast food place since I get a lot of fresh veggies along with the lazy deliciousness of not having to slice them all up myself. However at most Subways it’s SOHARD to explain that I’d like the bread cut all the way apart(if you’re over 35 you may recall that’s the way they used to do it) – if the bread isn’t cut apart then the ingredients all end up divided unevenly on the sandwich. It is sometimes so difficult to get this idea across that I give up rather than have an endless conversation about all the ways I might mean for them to cut the bread. Try your sandwich my way, you’ll prefer it – but then for awhile you’ll face a similar problem, of NOONE(except Bob) understanding what you mean about the bread. But eventually so many of us will be requesting the bread separation that other shops actually WILL understand what we’re asking for! The first time I visited this Subway I got the sandwich the way I wanted it with no hassle – terrific! That’s kept me coming back almost once a week for a couple of months now. Bob has been there every time, and he even remembers my bread choice, and introduced me to another special way of making a sandwich great that I am sure will be impossible to explain elsewhere. The shop is always spotless and Bob seriously wants to make the sandwich the way you want it made. This is definitely my favorite Subway.

On a scale of 1 – 10 for subways, I give this a 10. This is the cleanest, friendliest and freshest subway I’ve ever been to. Bob, one of the employees(possibly the manager), makes it feel like a friendly neighborhood sandwich shop. I am more than happy to support small business franchise owners and this subway deserves plenty of support because it is top notch!

Sign says«Under New Management». What’s the saying? Meet the new boss, same as the old boss? Walked in and there had to be at least 8 subway employees standing around. Not sure what was going on. Looked like a Pakistani Subway convention. I went to place my order. First thing I noticed was that the lettuce in the bin was brown and pretty old looking. So instead of lettuce I asked for spinach and I emphasized extra spinach. She puts 6 – 7 leaves on the sandwich. I repeated extra spinach please, she puts 3 – 4 more leaves on the sandwich. I then ask for the other ingredients. Tomatoes, 2 slices, Cucumbers 2 slices(they cut them so thin you could actually see through the slice), Olives, a sprinkling of 4 – 5, etc. I then ask for green peppers, extra green peppers please. Again, she gives me 4 – 5 strips. Again, I repeat extra green peppers. Again, she gives me 2 – 3 more strips. I then said«why are you guys ALWAYS so cheap with the ingredients?» She replied if you want extra, you just have to ask. I replied«I thought I did». She then replied«I’m only following the rules». In frustration, I said«you know what keep your sandwich, I’m going across the street». I went right to JIMMYJOHNS and got my sandwich made correctly without having to battle wits with someone skimping on the ingredients. You may have to pay a little extra, but JIMMYJOHNS doesn’t skimp, they’re always clean, food is fresh, staff is always friendly, and they don’t hide the napkins behind the counter! Forget this place!

Been to many a Subway in my life and I’ve had nothing but good/decent experiences. I’m a stickler on service, since to me – that’s what you see first before you order the grub. My experiences here have always been pleasant. The workers behind the counter are knowledgeable about their ingredients AND their attention to detail is impeccable. They just don’t ‘throw sh*t’ on there carelessly, they make sure your sandwich doesn’t come out sloppy. Just that alone makes me want to go back to this joint. Oh yeah, they sometimes have in-store deals going on – stuff they don’t advertise on TV, like buy any 2 foot long subs for $ 11.99 after 4pm(or something along those lines). But yes, this Subway gets my stamp of approval. *thumbs up
