‘methinks not’ star is due to it being CLOSED. Stopped by only occasionally and did so
today to see «For Rent» sign. Web site gone also.

I looked online for membership /​tanning packages and suntanz came up #1. So I went in with a sceen shot of their coupon for a free 10min tan in the super bed. The guy there w spiky hair told me I can’t get my free tan bc I don’t have it printed out. I was very up set that I couldn’t check out the tanning bed before buying the silver membership for three months. He then offered me a buy one get one free offer with a attitude. I’m so disappointed tht suntanz couldn’t find a way to work with me, I just walked out. #thissucks

I just recently moved to the Chicago area from Miami so I was definitely looking for a tanning salon to keep the tan I have! I was alittle skeptical about the area but the salon is very clean which is a must! It’s Modern & the front desk girl is nice & is eager to help! The tanning bed I used was level 3 for 15 mins $ 17.99.I tanned perfectly & I will definitely be going back since I also received a free session for being a new customer! :)

Since I’ve moved to Rogers Park, I have been searching for a great tanning salon, reasonably priced, near me. I just went to this place yesterday (9÷27÷2014), with a free tan coupon (which you may find online from their website).
I was extremely happy to find out that this salon has a private parking lot and even reserved spaces for their own clientele. I walked in, and was impressed with how this place looked like on the inside. Very modern, with a spacious waiting area. I was greeted by the girl who was working– she was extremely great! She had to call her boss on how to figure out how to validate the coupon. She said that the coupon was for the turbo bed (the best level 4 bed), and pointed to where I needed to go.
Soon as I walked into the room, I was definitely satisfied. The bed was sparkly clean, with high tech looking bulbs. Just as I started to get undressed, the girl who was helping me, began knocking on my door. She stated, «I was looking at the coupon again, and its actually for the level one bed. I’m sorry!»
OK, not a big deal at all. So I walked into the level 1 bed, and literally stopped at the door. I’ve never seen a bed like this; very dinky, and even to the point where it looked unsafe. I thought I was over reacting, so I got in the bed anyway. I was kind of scared tanning in it (just because of how small it was, and it was really old).
As the session wrapped up, I came out a tiny shade darker. I think this place has very high potential, but they definitely need to upgrade their level one beds (there are three of them) The level 2 is a stand up, btw. The pricing is a little high, from what I’m used to, but not having to pay for parking is a plus.
The photo attached, is the salons’s recent pricing, as of 9÷27÷2014. *The unlimited level 1 membership is $ 24.99 (as long as you purchase 3 months out) THIS is definitely NOT worth it.
I recommend going here, as long as you don’t go in any of the level 1 beds!

Place is terrible. Signed up for a buy one get one free as a new client and I asked the woman specifically if it expired, she said one year, I went in a month later and was denied. Owner had fired the woman but still would not give me the one I was owed because its written in fine print on some flier that the woman never showed me.

I’ve been going for a few weeks now to prep for a vacation, and Suntanz is exactly what I want in a tanning salon. Friendly service, variety of clean beds, and decent pricing packages. I’d recommend it.

Honestly I’d been here once before and had a pretty decent experience. It’s right by my work and the only place to go mid-​day tanning. That being said, I will never go back again.
If you walk in, and just want to buy a single tan in a mid level bed but not go the full 15 minutes (because most people would fry if these bulbs are as ‘strong’ as he claimed) it does not matter, you pay the full price.
I have never, ever, gone to a place that won’t sell you a reduced number of minutes.
If you aren’t prepared to buy a forty dollar package of ‘points’ then you can’t buy any points. It not only makes no sense but it seems like a con and the guy was so rude about it, that I will never go back.

Came here to get a base tan for a tropical vacation. Very friendly and helpful staff and it’s a great price! The owner is awesome!

Love this place! It’s clean, efficient, and the vibes are so chill. Monty, the owner, has great knowledge (as well as a great tan himself) in tanning and he always has my best interest in mind, which I appreciate and that sets him apart from other tanning salons I’ve been to. From day one he accounted my skin and lifestyle to guide me on the healthy route to an awesome, natural tan. He also recommended me products which I use every time! I just love how personable he is and how I feel homey here. I’ve been here only twice and I’m hooked on everything. I glow every time I walk out the door!

Honestly, I usually only tan in the sun, but I figured, why not try the beds!
This is not your «chain» tanning place, and that’s good! I hate chains of anything!
This place is always shiny clean! The beds are ALWAYS clean, there’s not even a small mark anywhere.
They have new bulbs which is a huge plus, you can actually get the tan you want!
Owner is awesome! He explains everything to you so you know exactly what to do, and they have some great tanning lotions!

Great place! First and foremost, clean clean clean! Beds are very clean as well as the whole place. The beds are well maintained, I get color with less time in the bed.
The owner is very nice and is there every time I go in.
Last but not least, the price is right!
