We stopped in for lunch and, naturally, had a pretty enjoyable meal(because TBell is awesome!). Décor: It’s a Taco Bell… But it was very clean and inviting with not a dirty table or piece of garbage in sight. In fact, the whole food court that this location is in is really nice and inviting! Bathroom:(CitiCenter) Very clean, inviting, and well lit. Staff: The cashier was friendly but our food was prepared a bit sluggishly. I think that was because some kids ahead of us had a HUGE order, but it still came out hot and fresh though. Food: It’s Taco Bell, so you know what you’re in for. We specifically came for the Lava Sauce(which is back!) but the tacos were so-so, made rather hastily and a bit lacking on meat/ingredients(and WAY too many beans)… but they tasted alright. Value. It’s Taco Bell, fantastic bang for your buck! I will only return to this Taco Bell because of the proximity to our apartment, but that’s the ONLY reason.

I feel I must apologize for interrupting the counter persons personal phone call when I went to place my order on the morning of 09⁄10. If I had known she was on her cellphone, which was more important than I was, I probably would not have had to repeat my order twice. The second time I repeated my order the cashier was kind enough to place her cellphone next to the till, take my order and walk to the back of the store before continuing with her call. The gentleman who was preparing the food was polite, efficient and the food itself was very good. As I sat down, I observed the next three guests who arrived after me wait to place their order while the cashier continued her call in the back of the food preparation area. May I suggest a sign for the counter stating«Customers, please do not interrupt our personal cellphone time and wait your turn, as you are not that important to us. Regards The Taco Bell Cashiers»

Terrible customer service. My fiancé went to pick up an order to go and had a terrible experience. Of course, its black operated and the women that work behind the counter ALLL had attitudes. First, he waited in line for 7 minutes without acknowledgement from any of the employees. When my order was taken, it was with an attitude, I asked for hot sauce, the women replied«some what?», when he stated what he wanted, again, she slammed the hot sauce container on the counter and walked off. In the mean time, another customer came in and waited and waited and waited and eventually left because he wasnt acknowledged. The pattern seems to be with a lot of these black operated fast food establishments, they tend to only provide the proper customer service to whites, as sad it may sound. So, if your white, enjoy your great customer service! *once again, only have a star because Unilocal makes you put one. TERRIBLESERVICE

Failed to cut my cheese quesadilla properly. It’s literally just one big tortilla. Cheesy potatoes are stale and nacho cheese is not distributed properly. Poor quality. I had high hopes.

I live right by this location but only go for special occasions or when I’m wasted. The staff has always been friendly and knowing when I’m drunk, to upsell me on those delicious Cinnabon bites. There have been times when I’ve staggered up to the counter after a happy hour and couldn’t decide what to eat the girl at the register will pick a few items from the menu and send me on my way or if it happens to be one that knows me just orders the usual. Seriously with that menu though you can’t go wrong, everything is good but don’t you dare give me anything other than a Baja Blast Mountain Dew. I screamed once when they said they were out, not at them just at the horror. This place rocks, even for a train station fast food spot, I walk in and look around, McDonalds, pass. Popeyes, pass… straight to TB. Check it out sometime!

I just love Taco Bell. It is fast, it is cheap, it is easy to accommodate my vegan diet, and the workers have always been immensely friendly in my personal experience. This Taco Bell is no different, other than slightly higher prices(which I assume come from the Oglivie Food Court location). So no 5 stars. Today I forgot my lunch at home, so I headed here. I walked up to the cashier, ordered a fresco potato taco and a fresco 7 layer burrito. Paid(still cheaper than like any other lunch options — $ 3.82), and I received my items with a smile about 3 minutes later. Added some hot sauce and the results are damn tasty. What more can I ask of a fast food business?

Go to this place even if you don’t like Taco Bell just to experience what excellent customer service at any restaurant or retail shop is like. I am always amazed and walk away pleased simply because of the staff. Not surprisingly the people working there have been there for a while. The food, hey it’s Taco Bell what can i say, although the meal deal combo #1 is $ 2.86 with chips and a drink! What a deal! So to whoever manages this place, whatever you are doing to keep your employees motivated enough to make the customers walk away with a smile, write it down, get it in a book and sell it. All the other fast food joints could use a dose of what you have got!

I’ll go as far as saying this TB is as equally good as the one on Clybourn, when it comes to customer service. Prices are bumped up a little over other TBs(probably b/c it’s within Ogilvie’s food court, and of course a very popular food court. and the price bump is the only reason I’m not giving it 5), but not too much more expensive than your ordinary TB. Better than the one in Wrigleyville(and I’ll add I don’t hate that TB, it serves its purpose), and it’s one of only 2 places in the Ogilvie food court(other is Popeye’s) that stays open after 11pm. The service never fails to impress me here, and the inspirational sayings of the day board is always interesting to see the times I eat at this one. Correct me if I’m wrong that they still have this board here, since I was under the impression it hadn’t had been removed as far as I know. That’s just about all I need to say.

I love this Taco Bell(and keep in mind, I have been a Taco Bell addict since about ten years ago, and I have been to many locations around the country). The staff here is so friendly and attentive, despite how busy they are. Also, if you say«supreme», you get your sour cream and tomatoes always. This does not usually happen in the suburbs. Anyway, when I get off work, I usually come here and order something off the cheap menu with a side of either nacho cheese or avocado ranch, and they get it right EVERY time and smile at me, too– which is good because I sometimes get social anxiety about ordering those extra sides. A 7-layer burrito with nacho cheese is great by the way. And Avocado ranch is a smart addition to almost anything. This is a high-quality Taco Bell that is doing everything perfectly. An excellent and friendly staff. It is so nice to order a snack before my train ride home and have someone ask me «How was your day?» and chat for a bit. Absolutely wonderful. This is the epitome of efficiency and excellent customer service. SOCIALANXIETYLEVEL– so low, this place is great.

Friendliest and best taco bell I’ve ever been to. They’re fast on top of it and don’t cheap out like other places on pop refills which are free here. CONSISTENTLY great customer service. I ordered just a pop here once and they gave it to me for free!

I don’t typically write reviews for fast food restaurants, but I feel absolutely compelled to in this situation. The woman working at the this Taco Bell was quite possibly the most genuinely nice person I’ve ever met behind a fast food counter. She insisted on giving me free water, and joked around with me as I tried to make a meal decision. This Taco Bell location is the BOMB-DIGGITY.

About 10 years ago I worked across the street from Ogilvie Station and would stop by this Taco Bell for a quick meal every once in a while. What struck me was the genuine friendliness of the staff, not only with the customers, but with one another. SInce then I’ve only stopped in a few times(most recently a couple weeks ago) and the staff is still as friendly as ever. So much so that they actually stand out from every other fast-food place I’ve ever been too. Very unique and unusual. The food is above average for a Taco Bell as well. Although it’s still Taco Bell, it’s good for a quick, inexpensive meal every once in a while. But the people working there? Very cool.

This is one of the best Taco Bells east of the Mississippi. Very assertive, attentive and cheerful staff. The chef put together a delightful menu complete with a vast assortment of zesty sauces.

This place gets five stars because the staff is GENUINELY concerned with how my day was going before I ordered that Nachos Bell Grande. Genuine concern is hard to come by these days. And, they GENUINELY wish that my day will progressively turn amazing after I leave. Though, since I’m about to eat Taco Bell, the chances aren’t great … but I won’t burst their bubble.

Taco Bell is heaven on earth… especially this location on Madison St. Where else would I go for lunch or dinner… nowhere. I use to live across the street and would run to this location wearing flip-flops in the snow. After an intense garba(Navratri) celebration, a late-night study amigo, or for the«I’m hangover free and alive the next morning» feeling– I’m going to Taco Bell. If anyone tries to shut this place down… I’ll be waiting in the parking lot.

«You’re the best around! Nothing’s gonna ever keep you down!» …except for the Blackhawks parade I guess. I heard this one was supposed to be glorious. Brilliant meat to cheese ratios and super quick and friendly staff. First off, there were lines 10 people deep and when I finally chimichanga’d my way up to the front the gal at the register greeted me with a warm smile and a «Hi! How are you doing today?!» Me «I’m doing quite well, gracias!» Her«Wonderful! :pause: Hi! How are you doing today?!» So unless I went on broken record day, I feel like her politeness was a little not-so-genuine. Food was ok. There were no mints in my bag this time, nor gentlemen to sweep the legs… of me off my feet. Clybourn Tacy Bell still rules over all.
