That’s A Burger

Wait time for your order is long as heck in this place. Burger do have a good size and very juicy and flavorful! If you’re willing to wait upwards of 30 mins after you order for a good burger then this is the place for you

If you go, go early in the day because they will run out of food. I was looking forward to a good turkey burger but after waiting in line and getting up to the window I was told it would be an hour and a half wait which would put them past closing time. I tried calling to place an order and the line remained busy. I might try another time but I give this place a one star review, if you close at 8 and you say you take your last order at 730 then you should stick to that and make sure you are able to handle customer orders. Fuddruckers I am on my way!

I was sceptical about getting the turkey burger. I’m so glad I did! I’ve never tasted a turkey burger this good.
If you want good fresh food, it’s well worth the 30 minute wait. I will definitely be back.

The Hubby went here on Saturday because he had a craving for a cheeseburger. Well… I have to say that this was one of the Best Burgers we’ve had in a long time. Not to mention they’re huge and juicy. The toppings of grilled onions, iceberg lettuce, ketchup and mustard complimented the burgers well. So please keep this place in mind, if you’re on the Southside or if you’re craving a great burger.

Would be no stars if possible food is good but owner obviously thinks it’s ok to run out of numerous products and condiments for burgers (get this) at a burger joint! Funny last time they will receive my money! I HIGHLY SUGGEST NEVER SPENDING MONEY HERE BECAUSE OF THE COCKINESS I RECEIVED THEY DONT CARE ABOUT EVERYBODY MONEY!

They have really good big juicy burger. The fries are very well season with alot of side’s and house special. The only Problem it take about 25 to 30 Minutes for anything and they never have chili at the end of day. But the burgers are worth the wait. It’s a hand made Patty that remind you of home and fries are point. Awesome place to eat. But make sure to call your order in at 3o minutes early or you will wait.

By the time I left, I thought to myself I will never return. No hot links and No MILD sauce… Yep NO MILD SAUCE! I had to ask Grandma in the window are we on the south side or nah? lol So I ordered two polishes and fries. Thinking ordering something so simple would cut my wait time… My oh my, I waited 35 mins for 2 polishes and fried!!! Never again. I will stick with the location on 71^st.

Made to order food requires made to order time. The only downfall to excellent food is waiting in the area surrounding the Restaurant. I recall last year I was in Chicago and craving a turkey burger and the city police were standing on the corner with AR-​15 assault rifles as I was leaving the restaurant. For some reason that image has not left my head. I love their food at That’s A Burger, but location, location, location. I would really like to see this company expand to other areas of the country. I believe people would really love this food even if they have to wait additional time.

I love the turkey burgers here, the woman who takes the orders was pleasant. My only complaint is that it takes forever to get your food, there’s no point of calling it in either BUT it is well worth it, the food is always hot and consistently good. They also have a large range of other items but I have only had the turkey burgers.

I have been a customer since there were located on 71^st street. In my past review, I spoke about improving their signage so that they can attract more customers. I don’t know if they read my review but this is a better location.
The turkey burgers are excellent. The burgers are moist, juicy, and delicious! I ordered the double turkey burger with fries.
My only complaint is the long wait for the orders. I know that quality takes time. So be prepared to wait 30 minutes. It will be worth it.
PS. Parking is an issue. My advice is to park on the side street so that you can get out quicker.

I love this place they never let me down an they added on lots of new stuff that all is so damn good

My husband had a burger craving and a good idea! Let’s go to «That’s a Burger» he said! I am not really a burger eater but I gave in. I called to see what time they closed and the line stayed busy! Finally, there was a voice on the the phone ready to take my order. I had NO idea what we wanted so I just checked closing time which is at 8, but they take there last order at 7:30.
My husband and I decided on single burgers with cheese, grilled onions and everything. I was able to call it in after a few more busy signals. Then, we headed out. Parking sucks and there was a line. A great aroma hits you as soon as you enter. It was very nice and clean and the servers were friendly. We waited about 12 minutes for our order.
Stole a few fries out the bag on our way home. They were like grandma made. Real potatoes, skin on and lightly seasoned. Couldn’t wait to sit down and enjoy the burger. As I placed our burgers on plates I noticed the weight. These babies were heavy! We were both happy that we chose singles! At first bite you could tell this was hand shaped; it was perfectly seasoned, juicy! Oh my… that’s a burger!

You will not find a better place on the southside for turkey burgers. This is a family owned business and the customer service is great. Because the food is cooked to order, you should call ahead. The wait time can exceed 25 minutes. Believe me, it’s worth the wait.

Best burgers in the city. Bar none! Better call ahead though. Takes 25 – 45 minutes on average but worth it when that juice is running out of it. The number is actually (773)721−6777.

This location replaces the previous one on 71^st Street, off of Merrill. There’s still a long lead time, but they have one of THE best turkey burgers around! It comes well-​dressed with lettuce, onion (grilled or raw), ketchup, mustard, mayo, tomato (if you ask), and pickles. Cheese is extra. The French fries are fresh-​cut, and delicious! I ask for them to make mine crispy, and it usually turns out well. Everything is made to order, so to circumvent the 25 – 40 minute wait, call ahead. See? Disaster avoided. All this juicy deliciousness can be yours for under $ 7!

I give them 5 stars because their burgers are the best in Chicago! Each burger is handmade. They do not use frozen patties. My only complaint is that it would have taken them a man hour in a half to make my burger. The lady that takes the order will inform you so that you can make a decision if you want to wait or not. Too long to wait for a burger but so worth the bite. Just not today!
