TJ Maxx

My wife made a purchase yesterday of several items and the cashier did not give her a bag. When she stated that it was raining outside and asked for a bag the cashier handed her bags but did not bag the items. She then asked the cashier to bag the items and the cashier rudely replied, «we don’t do that anymore». Wow, what tremendous customer service. We’ve spent thousands of dollars in that store. That’s the last purchase they will ever see from our family.

Terrible customer service. Keenan, the manager, raised his voice and scolded me like a child when I inquired about the pricing of a faulty product. That was the extent of the conversation — the manager is so terribly rude.

I came here twice to find clothes. The selection was terrible. I know TJ Maxx stores are hit or miss, but I don’t plan on going back again.

I dont know what there is to say about a TJ Maxx that hasn’t already been said. However, this store confuses me. It is so hit or miss. Some days it is in excellent condition and you can walk with ease, the staff is friendly. Then other days they have ghetto days. Where the store is a hot mess. Nothing is where it is supposed to be. The staff is rude and unfriendly.
I thought maybe it was a volume of customers issue. However, they always seem to have the same amount of customers in the store and it is till the same issue. I think they really need to look into their staffing schedule. I bet they could see a trend. It seems like they have a «good» staff and a a «bad» staff. They should start mixing the two together. Maybe the good employees will rub off on the lazy ones. Change up the environment.

I am a big T.J. Maxx fan, but this store on fullerton is awful. The store is always trashed, and the associates are rude. This location is close to home, but I refuse to go back. I would rather drive farther away to go to a different location. The Marshall’s across the street is a lot nicer looking, and has a friendly staff.

It’s a TJ Maxx not really much more to say. This location is fairly clean with friendly staff however the location tends to attract a lot of riff raff looking for easy unsuspecting prey to steal from so be careful and keep your wallets and purses on you at all times.

Enjoyed coming here to shop. The staff was very polite. The racks seemed organized and the store was clean. Another reason why i enjoyed coming here is because of the location and the private lot, very convenient. I will be back.

If you are looking for good deals on cute clothes then I would come here to shop.
I was in a pinch and needed some new clothes for a party & foudn exactly what I needed.
The staff is very friendly and prices are GREAT !!!

A slightly cleaner, more organized version of Marshall’s.
Which is important, because there’s only so long that one can tolerate sorting through mismatched racks of semi-​decent clothing and random household items.
I got a $ 100 Lucky Brand purse for $ 20 here, which is why this place will always be worth it.

Decent selection if you can get past the huge mess.

Who doesn’t like a good deal? I enjoy shopping at TJ Maxx. I have found great shoes and boots for reasonable prices. I love to walk through the purse aisle and treat myself to a new color once in a while. I also like shopping here for weekend clothing– nice tops for cheap. They have a nice house ware section as well. Every time I pay a visit to this store, I always leave with something.
Do not be intimidated by the long line… they are FAST!

Found a $ 700 down jacket for $ 200 BEFORE the snow.

This location is fun to walk through and peruse.

Normally I’m of the mindset that it’s pretty lame to review chain stores on Unilocal,but those in the know understand that every TJ Maxx is different. Knowing where to pinpoint your hunt helps.
Reasons why I love this TJ Maxx location:
1. Easy parking.
2. Big enough to hold a lot of stuff, but not so big you feel like you’re in a warehouse.
3. Excellent dress selection. I’ve found dresses for weddings, going out, work… really every occasion at TJ Maxx.
4. Good Men’s section. This makes my holiday shopping for brother-​in-​laws and fathers quick and dirty. They have good mens brands like Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren Polo, Ed Hardy, etc.
5. Pretty bitchin’ hosiery/​sock selection. And SO cheap.
6. Every single solitary color of purse in rainbow. Need an orange handbag? TJ Maxx has it.
7. Large Home Goods section. Sure, you have to weed through aisles of sheer crap, but I’ve found some gems here. One thing I’ve always wondered though, is who actually buys the ‘foodstuffs?‘
