Walgreens

this Walgreens is only so-​so.
every time i go in there is inevitably someone outside peddling bootlegged dvd’s, cd’s, or socks. or they stand out there with their hand out.
prices on household goods (such as laundry detergent or Swiffer refills) are higher than the Wal-​mary down the street. seems like cold food is more expensive as well.
they have a Chase ATM which is great, but expect to be in line a while if it’s the first of the month.
pharmacy is ok, but because they are open 24 hours & they have a drive through there can be miscommunication. calling the meds in or getting something adjusted is a pain.

If Walgreens were a guy it’d be the my childhood sweetheart. I love Walgreens and grew up where the HQ is located, so I have a special spot in my heart for them. However, it hurts to not give them 5 stars.
I have no problem finding anything in the store, I know the place like the back of my hand. Although it was slightly painful to not even have the place open to 12, in fact this place closed at 10pm!!! Is that possible? In my world Walgreens is open 24-​hours.
Also, I got a bit of a rude attitude from the employees there. I walked in 10 minutes before they closed and I was almost kicked out of the store. Ha, that WAS NOT going to happen. I only wanted heated knee bandages.
So, really, unless you get here with more than an hour to spare I would suggest scurry on over to CVS.
