Wendy’s

This Wendy’s can either be good or bad depending on when you visit. The later evening staff are rude and don’t seem to care about the customers. The lunch rush staff can be a little abrupt, but it’s understandable when 20 people are waiting in line and 15 more are waiting on food.
The evening staff doesn’t do a good job. I once showed up at 8:35 and they took my order but a girl who showed up two minutes after me was told they were closed even though they don’t close until 9. They even refused to talk to her and answer her question of why they were closed well before closing. Another time I ordered a chicken BLT and they completely forgot the lettuce. On a BLT. And then another time I ordered and they didn’t even give me my chicken nuggets with my 4 for 4 order. I had to point it out and make them give them to me.
The lunch staff on the other hand can occasionally be rude such as if you don’t grab your order when they call your number, but they’re being rushed. They get your order out to you extremely quickly (I once had my order to me before I was done asking the cashier for sauce). I haven’t had any issues with missing items or messed up food during lunch time.
Sadly as good as the lunch time is, the evening staff ruin this Wendy’s for me, seeing as that’s when I often go.

I have to give this Wendy’s 5 stars. I just moved to Chicago from PA, and I looked up my local Wendy’s. Turns out it is right around the block, but my first time looking for it, I walked right past it not knowing it is inside a university food court. Finally I found it, and not only was the girl taking my order nice, but my order was correct and my fries were hot. Couldn’t ask for more!

This wendys is in the UIC food court. They are really fast here. As a commuter school, a ton of people eat here every day for lunch. I have been coming here for 5 years and really have no complaints. The only thing I found really odd was that their menus advertise coke products but they only have pepsi! That’s just crazy to me.

Normal Wendy’s food and prices. Cheap and fast. The workers here suck. All they do is yell at you, there is no respect for customers at all. They get mad when you don’t hear them call your order, or when you don’t step up to the counter right away. Only reason I go here is because it’s at school.

Price is awesome. Love their value menu. (not liking the switches though)
I don’t order salads often but my food usually comes cold, especially the sandwiches and wraps. The skin for the wraps seems undercooked.
Purchase with a credit card because a few of the staff always give fewer change when you pay with cash. (It’s on a college campus food court…)
Depending on the speed of the place, it can be quite an irritating experience because I got my food tossed onto the counter several times. Even I don’t slap my dog’s food into the dish like that when I feed them…
Good luck finding seats in the food court during the noon hours. Seats become available after 2pm…
