Stop wishing, stop dreaming, stop hoping. You’ve found a gem. Coming from someone who loves wings, these wings will not disappoint! They are so delicious and they have a very authentic taste to them, unlike other wing restaurants in the city. And the fries… did I mention the fries?! They are soooooo good, seasoned great, crunchy, yummy. Cons: Some areas for improvement could be the wait time(it took a hot minute for the food to come, but it was worth it). Another thing was(and I don’t necessarily know that this is something the business could help) but the restaurant was pretty empty. I mean there was 1 other table of people in the whole restaurant. This could bother some people, I guess, if they care about those things. I don’t. Pros: Loved the food, loved the hostess, loved the waitress, loved the big screen TV’s(oh yea!), loved the overall feeling that the place wasn’t super crowded, I loved everything! So…overall this would be a great place for date night, a night out, or somewhere to just catch the game. It had great food and great service, and I would definitely recommend it!

I ordered the wings and sweet potato tots through GrubHub and got the wrong chicken wings order, I had asked for the jalapeño BBQ sauce and got wings with no sauce at all and they were cold and barely cooked. Disgusting! Also my tots were smoochy and cold, full of grease. Had to throw them away! What a waste of $ 27, never again ordering from this place! Horrible!!!

The food is good but the service is really lacking. The menu is small but the dishes are decent bar food. If they can get the service together they could have a good thing. Hoping they can turn it around. It’s close to my apartment and they play any sports team you wish to see, so I’ll give them another chance and report back.

For years I’ve been searching for the perfect buffalo wings and I couldn’t be more sad to say that my search is over and they can in fact be found at New York Wing Factory. The problem is that even if you order them, they may never arrive. I had a busy day planned and so I pre-ordered about 3 dozen wings of different varieties and flavors using Eat24, so they would be ready when we arrived about 20 minutes later. When we got there we asked for our food. The bartender looked bewildered and it was clear that they hadn’t even begun making them yet. We sat down and waited for about 30 minutes and when they finally arrived ½ the order was cold. We told the bartender and he said he would get them reordered and that we would get replacement quickly. Over the next 50 minutes we sat there and watched several plates arrive at tables of people who arrived after us and I asked the bartender several times to ask what was holding up our order. Finally we gave up. We never got the replacement and although the bartender comped my two beers, the wings were purchased through Eat24 and so I never got a refund. The wings we tried were delicious but I will never go back. The kitchen has no clue how to expedite and the restaurant is very poorly managed. With maybe 4 – 5 tables full(the restaurant was mostly empty) they were unable to fill a single order properly in the hour and 40 minutes from the time we pre-ordered to the time we left. Sigh…

The wings aren’t amazing or anything, but they really have a «home-cooked» feel to them. Which is surprising and a big plus for a franchise. All of the staff were friendly and tentative. Good beer on tap and lots of TVs. During weekdays they have $ 1 craft brews and wells from 6 to 7pm! Will be visiting this place more often.

Came here on a Thursday for a game. Service is beyond terrible. 45 minutes to get the wrong drink. No idea about food as I haven’t seen it in over an hour.

Nice guys, but service and organization overall was very poor. There were remnants of Bloody Mary in a beer glass. To be served our food took over 40 minutes, with only a handful of people in the entire place, and even then we were brought the wrong order. Not once were we checked on and then when asked for the check, took over ten minutes to receive it even after asking for it 3 times. As mentioned everything just moved incredibly slowly and unorganized.

Overall: Pleasantly surprised from it being empty, NYWF is a great stop for some tasty wings and bar fare. The good: Wings tasted great. The boneless look different and odd but were very tasty. All the sauces were good. The fries are crunchy and the grilled cheese is tasty as well. Friendly service, we even got free(not great) beer that they needed to get rid of. Huge portions. Lots of TVs for sports. The bad: The place was empty, feel bad that we were the only table, because it was surprisingly good. The service was awesome but kind of awkward at times, but nothing bad by any means. Food took a little bit to come out, but not a terrible amount. Atmosphere: 8⁄10 Service: 8⁄10 Food: 8⁄10

8 bucks for a shot of jamo in this area? This isn’t River North. Wings are good, but the lack of speed from anyone in this joint and the overall deadness of it crowd-wise even with DePaul down the street makes me wary for its future, prices are WAY too steep for a college crowd. The theatre clientele won’t be coming in to chomp wings either en masse.

First time I’ve ever walked out of a place before and the first time I’ve ever left a 1 star review. Came here on a Saturday evening(6:30pm), there were about 12 people in the whole place. The 2 of us sat at the bar for about 15 – 20 minutes and after the group next to us got their second round before we even got menus or even acknowledged by the bartender, we decided to leave(at this point the bartender was just chilling at the bar). Guess this place’s disregard for service explains why it was so empty.

Literally the best French fries I’ve ever had. Not to mention their ribs and beer selection are stellar too. But the French fries are fantastic!

My boyfriend and I walked past this place a few times and finally stopped in when we were craving wings… and I’m so glad we did! The service was awesome, and the garlic soy double fried boneless wings were amazing! Lightly crispy and tender chicken with really good flavor. My boyfriend got the angry bone-in wings and thought they were great as well. Not to mention the delicious truffle fries. We will be back again to enjoy the food and catch some football games! Overall, great experience!

Came for dinner on a Friday. They just opened full time and we wanted to check it out. They have a bunch of televisions and will be great during football season or for other sporting events. The wings were good. We tried the traditional and the spicy soy garlic. I liked how crispy they were. We also split the foot long grilled cheese. We will be back again. Great new sports bar!

This is a great addition to Lincoln Avenue! Walking in you can tell this place is high quality– great décor for a wing place that still has all the TVs you could want to watch a big game! Definitely not your traditional wings but they are great and you can tell its fresh not frozen chicken! For the boneless they are sliced chicken breast rather than cubes/chunks like other wing places. The double fried factory wings are good and so are the Parmesan fires– highly recommend both! The staff is attentive from the food runner to the waitress to the manager coming to check in on us while we dined. Over all great experience and I will be back time and time again!

I decided to create an account just for this place. Went to dinner at New York Wing Factory with two friends last night and will never be back. Let’s start with the server. My god was this guy a peach. First, he comes to take our drink order and my friend orders a Lagunitas to which he says, «seriously, all of the beers on the menu and THAT is what you order? Why?». They go back and forth about the other beers on their menu and he eventually recommends a beer(which, to his credit, she did enjoy) that, on their menu they compare to Blue Moon. My friend says she doesn’t like Blue Moon, to which he replies, «well we only say that because of this neighborhood we’re in, people around here don’t know what good beer is». I get that he was referring to the college students at DePaul, but still came across as incredibly pretentious. Next, the price. $ 7 for 6 wings and $ 13 for 12 is QUITE steep in this area, not to mention they do not have any specials any day of the week(at least none that were advertised), which seems like a huge mistake as seemingly every bar in the area has a wing special at least once of week. When I asked the server how big the wings were, he responded with, «uh…typical wing size?”/ I don’t think that was too outrageous of a question given the price. Finally, the wings. «Hot» was sweeter than it was hot — barely any kick. BBQ was decent at best, but in no way did these wings even come close to other local options: Birds Nest, Kincades, Barn and Co., just to name a few(all of which are cheaper and have ATLEAST one night where wings are $ 0.50 or less). Look, I don’t expect bars in Lincoln Park to have the best service in the world, but the combination of service, price, and quality makes me think this place won’t be around too long. Save your money and check out one of the many other wing places in the area.

Have been here twice now. I live in the area and was disappointed after what appeared to be a failed opening. That space stayed boarded up for so long, I lost hope. When I saw that they were open last week, I made it a point to stop in to try their wings. I had their Spicy Soy Garlic Boneless Wings. They were thinly sliced, lightly breaded pieces of premium white meat chicken. As a huge fan of both boneless and bone-in wings, these were some of the best wings that I have ever had. The beer selection was unbelievable as well. The atmosphere consisted of a lofty, modern sports bar, with many televisions. I returned this evening and ordered 6 bone-in BBQ and 6 bone-in Medium. Both were equally fantastic. My personal favorite was still the Spicy Soy Garlic Boneless Wings. I was disappointed that both times it did not seem crowded, but I am guessing people became so used to seeing it boarded up, that they haven’t noticed it is open. I also noticed people walking by not going in, because of the lack of people in the place. Hope this restaurant starts getting recognized… Lincoln Park needed a place like this.

Remember the run down bdubs that had horrible service? It has been replaced by NYWFChicago — better service, better wings, and still has the TVs for football(better interior). The wings are amazeballs and the beer list is extensive(I am a craft beer snob). If beer isn’t your thing, the bartender was also making some excellent cocktails. Try the BACONCUREDRIBS. No questions, just do it you will thank me later. I shall be here all season watching Jay Cutler throw interceptions. at least I can drown my sorrows in some IPA.

Wow, hard to imagine a worse experience for decent wings. I literally watched my order given away to someone else and then was told to wait while they started over. An hour after ordering, I received what I assume was that other persons order and was chased out the door to pay for my beer which I mistakenly assumed would be covered since I had to sit there while they fixed their mistake… You have to be kidding me. When I asked if someone was going to apologize or cover my beer, the hostess just said sorry and smiled. Don’t go, their food is marginal and the staff is crap… Now I know why it took a full year to get the doors open. This place wont last beyond football season.

We received a coupon for 6 free wings during the Taste of Lincoln and decided to try it. As it was during a fest and they did have a booth, the place was understandably empty. But after trying their wings, it might end up staying that way, unfortunately. Our server was amazing and patient with our confusion over the menu and the two types of wings they offered. Because I’m all about trying what the restaurant is known for, I opted for the spicy factory wings which are double fried. Sorry, but they’re gross. A good amount of spiciness, but the batter and double frying sucked all the meat off the bone so it seemed like I was just eating dry meat under a thick layer of fried skin and batter. If that’s your thing, great, but it’s so not mine. Oh, and the boneless wings were just chicken pancakes, which was a bit odd. Again, all breading and no chicken. The Parmesan fries were pretty good and they were kind enough to offer us a complimentary rib platter, which was decent. The corn bread fell apart a bit too easily, in my opinion, but so did the ribs, which was lovely. They really did fall off the bone. However, the flavor was not to my liking and they just tasted extreme fatty. Two stars for the wonderful service and free ribs, but I won’t be coming back here. I preferred the Buffalo Wild Wings that was here before.

Love this place! Staff is incredible and wings are outstanding. We went during their soft opening and loved the place. The Korean style wings are delicious, and so are the factory nachos. The staff was great about talking to us and getting to know us, which the place was completely empty when we were there, so I hope that awesome service still is maintained when the place is packed. I’ve craved these wings and dreamt about them, I can’t wait to go back for more!

Besides the delicious wings which are like no other I ever had, the bacon cured ribs were sooooo good. Great addition to the Lincoln Park area.
