Crowded and snug shopping experience, don’t wear your puffy jacket or carry your biggest Birkin bag when you shop here! But if, like me, you are a fan of unique Euro-​beverages, this place is worth a stop. Browsing can be a challenge if its busy, but if someone slams into you while grabbing their 3 foot tall bottle of Zubrowka, just say «Bardzo mi si podobasz», and maybe you’ll make a new friend. (only say this to a member of the opposite sex) .
But seriously — World-​wide has a large selection of high quality vodkas many with unique ingredients or flavors, decent selection of beers, lots of unique liqueurs, brandies, cordials and aperitifs — and very good prices on everything — but what warmed the cockles of my lil German heart was seeing that they carried real Der Lachs GoldWasser (not the same as GoldSchlager).
The folks at the register seemed to be the owners or family, and were very helpful and friendly. Parking lot out front is also a plus, easy access, easy loading for your party beverage purchases.
