Cash & Carry

I love Cash & Carry, they have great prices on bulk veggies and other items, the staff is always super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this store. Just make sure when you are buying veggies that they are not going bad, sometimes when I am not paying attention I will grab a bag of squash and realize it was not very fresh, they always have fresh ones available, you just have to pay attention :-)

Curtis, I think your name was. Kudos to you for excellent service. I bought some frozen razor clams here and needed dry ice to hold them frozen tor 10 hours. Curtis evaluated the situation… Do you want them to stay frozen, or just cold? I brought in my freezer box, which had other frozen meat in it and Curtis chose the amount of dry ice and even packed the chest for me… That won’t happen at CostCo. Items arrived frozen, as he predicted. How great would that be for your next picnic or boat trip?
Parking is easy, I even got a shady spot. The lines are short and service, as I said, is excellent. This store has bulk items, produce, ice cream, restaurant supplies, dry goods, paper goods, bulk meat for jerky or family reunions, and how bout that frat party??? But boss, I gotta tell ya, It’s the razor clams that keep me coming back. One pound packages would be good.

Hit and miss as far as produce is concerned but other than that it’s a great place to shop. I run a food truck and get all of my meat, cheeses, frozen items and paper goods/​janitorial supplies here. Employees are super helpful to the point they even remember my regular products better than I do some days.

This is a great place to go for party, catering, or restaurant supplies. The employees are cheerful and eager to help, and the parking is plentiful & close to the doors. If you are a regular Costco shopper you might want to give Cash & Carry a try. It’s much less busy, with easier parking, and good prices on larger/​bulk size items. They have larger containers of ice cream, every type of disposable cup/​plate, etc, great prices on ziploc-​type freezer bags, and an astonishing array of specialty coffee supplies. Also worth checking out is their selection of frozen soups. They really are pretty good, and while not quite as good as homemade soup, they are head & shoulders above any canned soup varieties. The frozen veggie selection is nice, and if you want a place to buy some really nice and convenient frozen desserts, this is the place to try.

Great place to get Restaurant supplies.

We went shopping on Sunday at around like 4:15 and saw some people throwing gatorade into their cart like mad, they left a few boxes on the ground instead of putting them back on the display like any courteous customer should have. An employee asked them nicely if they could pickup after themselves and they threw a fit and split without buying anything.
Turns out that customer owns a place in Magalia called «Chuck’s Place» which has multiple 1 star reviews here on Unilocal for being dirty and unorganized, so I guess I’m not surprised they were not picking up after themselves in someone else’s store if they can’t even do it in their own.

We went shopping on Sunday at around like 4;15 and we went there and the service there was really bad. We put 30 boxes of Gatorade on our cart and we accidently left 3 boxes on the floor by the display because we didn’t need those flavors and we went to get some more stuff and we got that and then when we were ready to go and checkout then an employee there asked us if we put the 3 boxes on the floor and then very rudely told us to pick them up and put them back on the display. Then we put all the boxes we had on our cart back and we are never going to go back there and we are never going there to shop. Overall, super bad service and a great way to hurt others feelings about buying something good and making their profit and we get treated like this its a shame. My name is Raj and I own 2 stores: Chuck’s Place and Maxx for Less in Magalia and if one of my employees treated a customer like that it would be their last day. ** Also think about yourself if you owned a business would you be happy that someone is making your profit and buying so much or would you yell and tell them to pick up 3 things on the ground that they accidentally left and hurt their feelings and lose profit of everything that they were going to buy? c’mon it’s a employees job to keep their customers happy and take care of the store not make them leave**

A great place to shop at very competitive prices, whether you own a business, are having a get together or throwing a party this is the place to go. No alcohol of course but im talking as far as plastic utensils, paper plates, coffee, meat, milk and much more.

The people here are VERY helpful. Their prices for bulky things are generally in line with Costco’s. They carry many smaller items also. Perfect place to get a decadent dessert for a party. Walk all the aisles, you’ll never know what you’ll find. We get all our coffee flavorings here, they have an amazing selection.

This is a hit or miss store depending on what you want.
