I move huge security safes for a living and my back was a wreck. What a difference after 12 weeks of great personal care I am pain free. Dr. Anderson is a caring and respectful Dr. who knows exactly what I need and is willing to bend over backward for my back.

Well they did help me to become pain free although I do not contribute all of it to them. I did lose quite a bit of weight and adjusted my back posture (I tended to slouch). The «Medieval» remarks made by previous comments are dead on. You feel like you’re in some weird spine treatment mill. Definitely no privacy. The treatment can be more painful than your actual pain at times (depending on how much you have and how much you can take).
The real issues I have with this place are on the business side of things. They try to sell you on their «patch care» and «fix care» terms because they know no one is going to pick the first one. They even tell us that in patch care the problems will come back BUT fix care is the holy grail of pain relief. Naturally I bit the hook and went for the longer, more expensive «fix» care. About ²⁄₃ of the way in they inform me that my insurance stopped covering me a couple weeks ago and that they were just too lazy to file the proper extensions on time. He then tells me that it was his fault and that he would eat the extra costs since it was his mistake. Of course I had to stop going because I did not have enough money to cover that many more sessions. Surprise, surprise I get a bill in the mail for the remaining balance of the sessions that the insurance did not cover. Total con artists that could give a crap less about healing you more so they want your money.
A personal note to the male Dr. I hope you enjoy the extra couple hundred dollars you conned out of me. If my review can deter at least one person then that will cost you even more. Don’t spend it all in one place.

I am really impressed with the quality of work and approach taken at Chico Spine and Wellness. I woke up with terrible neck pain and immobility that I recognized as more than simply muscular tension. I received a chiropractic adjustment by a different doctor after which I felt a greater range of motion but no decrease in pain. I still left like I was out of alignment.
The following day I went in to see Dr. Anderson at Chico Spine and Wellness. She did a THOROUGH intake helping both of us to understand and quantify what I was experiencing. She did a postural analysis and took X-​rays of my spine as they do for all new patients, which allowed her a far greater understanding of what was going on inside my body than the other chiropractor had. After consulting the X-​rays I received an adjustment which immediately opened up a whole new range of motion in my neck AND significantly reduced the pain.
I also received a consultation with my X-​rays so that I could see and understand what was happening with my spine and ask any questions.
Additionally, what really impressed me was their approach to wellness which is unique within Chico. While they do offer the standard adjustments to keep you moving and to relieve pain, they also offer a special program of care to address the ROOT CAUSE of your misalignment-​related pain, so that you’re not just needing to go back every week or so because your pain keeps coming back. This special treatment involves specific exercises, adjustments and traction to retrain your spine and brain, bringing it back into healthy alignment.
