Performance Auto Service

Well this is my 3^rd review of this place in the last couple of months. Hoefully Unilocal will keep them up… My son’s mom was about 5 blocks aways when her highlander started shuttering and check engine light came on. Trying to make it to work appt she was in a panic. I told her to get it to performance IMMEDIATELY. Sean got care in bay, I got her ride to where she needed to be. He had it diagnosed as failing coil and decided to change plugs as well because it was time. In this day in age when does a busy service provider drop what he’s doing and get someone’s care back on the road the same afternoon. It was a couple of hundred bucks but for what was done, and the time it was done in, that is amazingly fair. I can’t say enough about how honest, fair, and reasonable Performance auto is to their customers. Many local businesses who come to my business to eat are looking for tune ups, smog checks, brake work, etc, and I always send them there. They come back raving about the service and friendliness. Thanks again for saving the day!!!

The service, integrity, and workmanship at performance auto is way above average. Shawn aided me in dealing with my insurance company and went above and beyond to get the job done in a friendly, timely manner. He walked me through what repairs needed to be done, didn’t try to upsell or convince me to do frivolous repairs. A real straight shooter. I won’t take my car anywhere else in Chico.
