Persimmon Healing

I see Jan every couple weeks to a month for 60 minute sessions of deep tissue massages. I can’t even begin to describe how much help these sessions have been! My migraines lessened and my body has being feeling awesome overall. I definitely recommend coming here for a massage. Super excited to go again!

Maria is an amazing… see can move mountains of stress. This for me has promoted internal and external healing. This person is a must to see!

I was intuitively drawn to Maria for massage, and I loved her work. However, when I had a neck trauma that progressively worsened and was referring buring pain to my shoulder, I was quite worried my neck would need surgery. I was afraid to turn my head for fear of muscles spasms. It was very scary. Maria used myofacial release on my neck, shoulder, and back. In about 4 sessions the shoulder pain was completely gone and I was able to turn my head a little without spasms. After about three months of seeing Maria, I have had no shoulder pain and the flexibility of my neck is pretty much normal. Three months of myofacial release with Maria has saved me from the possiblity of having to go under the knife for neck surgery!

I highly recommend Maria. She is truly amazing as a massage therapist and person. You can tell that she cares about her clients health and well being. Thanks Maria.

I’ve been seeing Maria for the last month to help ease my back and neck pain from my motorcycle accident. Shes been amazing, she looks at what’s wrong and listens to my body language. Finally I’m a believer in massage therapy! I’ve tried «the best around» of every sort of profession that is supposed to help me with chronic neck and back pain and I’ve left all of them feeling disappointed. She is not afraid to dig in hard and its exactly what I want and really need. I plan on going to her as much as humanly possible.

I feel compelled to share the gift that is Maria. Primarily, she has a well-​trained and also innate sense of problem areas and how to work on them. She’s a gentle soul with the fierce ability to do the body work. She’s professional and friendly. Her office is lovely and comfortable. I’m having successes in some tough body areas to work on – all due to her work. I highly recommend her!

Maria is amazing, both as a yoga instructor and a massage therapist. When I first met her, I couldn’t touch my toes. Now I can easily place my palms on the floor. She gets in deep for massages and while it can be intense, she always reminds me to give her feedback on pressure (i.e. too intense, more pressure please). She also gives advice on stretching, posture, and basic anatomy info. Not only do I feel a lot better but I’ve learned so much from her. Besides her services, she’s very nice and professional and is always open to feedback. She made me a believer in massage therapy.

Besides my surgeon and physical therapist, Maria is the person I trust the most to help me move the way I am supposed to. She is the perfect next step in recovery from serious injuries or surgeries. She has been so important in getting my life back. Maria is one of those rare people who really do have a healing touch (on top of lots of training in this area) and has been able to break up adhesions and deep scar tissue from years of walking wrong, several complicated surgeries to rebuild my ankles, and having to learn to walk again twice. Every single time I leave a session with her, I feel like I am moving better and with less pain. I have referred friends to her – some with minor to major complaints, as well as those just wanting to achieve better athletic performance – and they have all had great results.
