The employees at Golden Corral work hard to please everyone who goes here. Unfortunately there are a lot of people who visit and lie about their experience hoping to get free stuff out of it which is pathetic. The food is indeed fresh, there are VERY strict corporate standards that must be adhered to. The food is safe and all food items are only sent out to the hot bar once they have been temperature checked. Eat here while in Chillicothe to get your money’s worth.

Gross just plain out dirty. There is water falling from the ceiling from a light is that safe? The steak is not cooked right tried to get it cooked right three times.

The one time I stopped here was while I was traveling through the area. I went through the buffet line which was a process due the the unsupervised children darting in and out if the line. After setting down and having a couple bites of food we decided to leave because of a cock roach came running across our table. I am not an expert but I was under the impression that roaches came out at night. This one came out at noon. Needless to say we got a refund and left the restaurant.

Pretty much you’re standard Golden Corral Buffet, but this one is usually packed with the small town people of Chilicothe. Service is okay, food is pretty standard, but the crowds create huge messes in the bathrooms and I see kids drop silverware on the floor all the time, pick it back up and put it back in the silverware containers and get new for themselves – nice right?! We like stopping here when traveling south from Columbus. Our kids eat free and pass out in the car afterwards. Plenty of parking.
