Dairy Queen

I went into this Dairy Queen because of their special shown on their window. Saturday they have $ 6 Orange Julius for the small size for two of them. I go in there and order the two and my total came out to $ 6.70. I thought it was strange because tax is only 8%. I did the math and they charged me .34 extra. When I asked the only guy working he was clueless. His response was and I quote «I only work here once a week, so I don’t know.» He didn’t do anything about it except ignore us; and continued to make our drinks. Which I can’t even drink because now I have sores in my mouth because of the drink. They definitely need to fix this issue. The only person working should know how to properly discount specials and not respond with «I don’t know». After this issue I will not be coming back to this location.

I ordered a cake for my daughters birthday and the guy asked what flavor. I let her pick her favorite Oreo cookies, when I got the cake it was just ice cream and frosting. The cake had no crust on the bottom and no cake in it hence called ice cream cake. The cake was falling apart it was sunk in the middle and a mess to serve. 34 $ for Oreo cookie ice cream was not worth it. I wish I had just bought a five dollar tub and served it instead. Will not order my cake from here again.

Came here to get out of the 102 degree heat and since I’ve been craving something sweet, this place was just perfect. The owner is super nice and comical! I haven’t been to a DQ in ages and brings back old memories.
Store is pretty small with a couple tables and a small fridge with cakes and ice cream but it does the job.
Definitely made this 5 month preggo lady very happy! :D

Horrible, went in yesterday and they are not serving any type of hamburger. So we went to other fast food to get our hamburgers. Then we drive across the street for dq ice cream, but they are out of order on MOST of the things. Either I get sundaes or banana splits. So I picked banana splits but he said he got only half banana and he can sliced it into bite side so yeah I took it, and yeah I barely taste any bananas, it was like 3 tiniest pcs of banana. Stupidest me, I should just walked out when I had my choice to not spend 5 $ which not to get sundae and banana splits.
Note: am from Canada and surely Canada has the best dq in every one of their location. And I miss home so dq would make me feel like am home. But dq in USA suck bad last night at this location, made me miss Canada even more.

When I came in today, only one person was working. Naturally this would mean that service might just take a little longer than usual, no worries. The couple ahead of us ordered smoothies, so the person working the cash register had to go and make those first before asking my order. But then the phone rang while he was ringing me up, so he tended to both.
Give the poor guy a break! He’s all by himself but still doing a great job multi-​tasking and being pleasant.

Love coming to this ice cream spot. Takes me back to my younger days when things were simple. Just good ice cream mixed with yummy toppings. Also, the owner is super nice. Very friendly and always giving.

Why is there no one at the front I waited 20 minutes for some ice cream 0 stars fire the person that was working at 5:30 PM on Friday the 27^th!!!

Owner gets order wrong then argues with me and tells me to calm down when I tell him it’s wrong I order a mint ore blizzard which had no mint and two ores at best and large vanilla cone chocolate dipped he rung up a chocolate cone dipped and then says I did nothing wrong what’s your problem calm down. Well guess what jack ass I was calm but I’ll tell ya what you suck as a owner and I’ll never visit your dairy queen mr. Miyagi

Beautiful weather to be enjoying a cup of ice cream with your choice of Oreo m&m etc. Just tell them you want to try a Blizzard. It’s their version of mcdonalds mc flurry but with a much better twist to it. I enjoy coming here after I just had dinner or on a blazing hot day like all this week.

Sadly my first experience here was disappointing. I have read the reviews here, and see that they are very positive. I am guessing my experience wasn’t splendid because the manager wasn’t around. I came to this place all the way from Los Angeles. I was starving, but this place had no food, only desserts because they apparently ran out of food. I wasn’t sure what blizzard flavor to get so I asked one of the two employees working there (the guy), and he asked me what I liked to recommend me the right blizzard. The other employee (the girl who works there Wednesdays at 7p.m.) was very rude and made fun of me for asking for a recommendation. She wasn’t friendly at all, and had a very negative attitude. After I ordered my Oreo blizzard, she handed it to me, and as I was walking away she laughed loudly. I was the only customer there so she must have been talking about me. I wish this place had better welcoming employees who are polite. I was really excited to try Dairy Queen, but now I don’t think I will come back.

I come here because of Jack, the owner… He has a very dry sense of humor but always makes me laugh!
We usually get Ice Cream Cakes for birthdays of our staff members and also each person in my family requests one on their own birthday.

Agree with other reviewers — my first time in this one and it must have been the owner who served us. Friendly and knows his blizzards! So refreshing to see pride in ownership and someone who enjoys serving his customers.

Service is always fast and friendly. The owner is usually around and is a pretty nice guy. It shows in his employees. Location is a little small and restroom could be a little more pleasant, but its a DQ afterall, not a 5 star restaurant. I’m also a fan of the supersized black and white original DQ photo on the wall. I usually sit there and just imagine myself back in that time while I scarf down my Blizzard. Overall a great place.

This place is great, the owner is extremely nice! It was my first time there and he was joking around and making conversation with the customers, he’s great!

Buy one Blizzard, get the next Blizzard at 99 cents! I’ve been coming here for years now, but this is the first time in a year that I have been back. Funny story: Asian owner was coming in through the side door, and noticed a blotch on the door as he walked in. He notified the two high school kids working there at the time, and they each gave each other a «silent» eye roll.
Bottomline: Convenient for me, but I would only come here if they had the sale again.

I’ve been to many DQ’s. But this one has a special place in my heart.
Why you might ask?
Frozen Hot Chocolate. This is the only Dairy Queen I know that makes it. On a hot summer day, it really does cool me down.
I’ll be back for sure when I need me a drink to keep me cool.

If you like Blizzards and the flavor of coffee, the owner of the DQ in CH will make a special one with Oreos, coffee and Georgia Mudd Pie. He says it’s the only one he eats himself and it’s not on the menu.
He’s been the one working in the store most of the times we’ve been in and offers friendly and funny customer service!

Plus, when’s the last time you saw an «A» rating in a Dairy Queen? He’s got one!
