Fresh organic meat — you can’t get any better. You first arrive this place looks like it is frozen back in time. When you look past that it is today’s fresh meat palace. BBQd the meat when I got home — mmmmmmmm it is all gone already !!!

This place is AWESOME! We feed our dog 100% raw food and we came here a few weeks ago to get green tripe(cow stomach– it’s like a superfood for doggies!) and some raw meaty bones for him as well– the prices were exceptionally cheap and we were in and out of there in no time! This place is a farm where they raise their own stock– they process their own meats here– and they also have a little butcher shop inside where you can buy meats that are already cut up all nice and pretty :) Everything you get here will be exceptionally fresh(usually that same day or the day before) and you can’t beat these prices! :) If you would like to learn more about green tripe and it’s benefit for dogs and/or how to feed your dog a raw food diet, check out my website

We wanted to roast a pig in our new La Caja China roaster for Christmas day. I did lots of research for getting a whole pig from a meat purveyor(custom butchers, ethnic supermarkets, etc.) but I settled on Lizzie Custom Processing because it was the most economical. I called ahead and told them I wanted a smallish pig… about 50 pounds. I asked them if I could come Christmas eve day to pick one up and they suggested I come on the weekend before Christmas(4 – 5 days before Xmas) to ensure there’d be one for me. They mentioned the smaller ones go pretty quick. I was told they open at 7am that Sunday before Christmas. I got up early and it was dark and foggy. As I pulled up to the driveway of Lizzie’s I thought I’d be the first one there only to be surprised that there were already about 40 people there waiting. Crazy!!! Since, I’d never been there before I had no idea what the process was. There were people standing everywhere. Some waiting at the cashier/butcher shop area. Some people were standing around an area where they were roasting/grilling jalapenos and other foods. And other people were standing around the animal pens. So I asked someone what to do if I wanted to get a pig. They told me I should stand in front of the pen of the pig I wanted and some guy would come around and point towards me and I in turn would point which animal I wanted. When the guy came around to me I chose what I thought was a smaller pig. I was shocked when they weighed it and it came to about 100 pounds. Whoa!!! Oh well, more leftovers is what I thought. The total price came to $ 225 for a 100 lb.(live weight) pig. It took another 2 hours or so for them to clean, butterfly and ready the pig for me to take. If you plan on coming here during the holidays make sure you’ve got lots of patience and time. But, the pig was delicious and a real hit during Christmas.

Lizzie sells fresh meats. I’ve bought ribeyes to try because a friend told me to try it. I’ll update my review once I try. Tried their tacos and it was delicious. If you’re around buying fresh meat, go try their tacos. Parking is easy to find on the weekdays but hard to find on the weekends. Service was great and they accept credit and debit cards.

Came here to pick the pig for our pig roast. You come, go the back, pick the animal, they tag it, they slaughter it, you take it home. Fast, easy, and does the job. I don’t know of anywhere else you can go to get a FRESH whole pig for a roast. If you go to an Asian/Hispanic Market for your roast, you have to place an order a week in advance. Here you get what you need on the spot. They also have goats, cows, and other animals for butchering. Don’t come if you’re get grossed out easily.

Lizzie is a large farm and they have all types of animals. You come here and head to the back where they keep sheep, goats, and nearly every type of animal. Since I was going to get a Goat I selected one and then had to go pay the cashier. They ask you how you want the pieces cut. You can go and watch the slaughtering process its very noisy in there and you can see different types of animals processed . The farm supplies fresh meat to local restaurants. I was able to get the whole goat for under $ 300. These are farm fed animals and if you are faint hear-ted they can just purchase fresh meat at the Lizzy store. Where you just pay by the weight they have freshly cut pieces and even chicken too.
