She was a sweetheart, and I left her chair with great looking hair. «No more untamable lion main» will be be going back for sure.

Natalie is awesome! I love the balayage she did for me yesterday! I decided to try this place based off their Unilocal reviews. I’m so glad I did! This salon had a chill vibe, amazing stylists, and a great breeze. This is definitely my new spot!

I came into the salon with some pretty blotchy red hair and left with a nice light ashy brown color. This was a good first session seeing as I left with no brassiness and no breakage at the ends of my hair. The session in total took 5 hours which honestly flew by pretty fast.
I had Cat do my hair and she is super sweet! Can’t wait for our next session.

Hey ladies! I don’t review much but for this salon was a must! Danielle is the owner and she treats my hair like its her own… I did a silver color and she nailed it! I had to really damage my hair to get there although my hair was already super damaged she has been managing ever since to get my hair back on a health track. They carry «Olaplex» here and that’s the real reason I came in the first place and ever since I can’t get enough of this place. There’s also a Jordan there that helps out a lot with my hair and she’s super nice and she gives great tips. All the girls there are cool and the salon is fixed up like a cute like grunge shop. I’ve never been to a salon this cute and hip and the girls just make it fun

Came in February for my first time and Cat helped me out. I got balayage highlights, since my hair was near black she suggested I come in again for a second session to lighten the hair more. I came in about 2 weeks later and she worked her magic. I absolutely love how my hair came out. A lot of compliments from friends and family. I highly recommend her. I will be back for a brazilian blowout.

I came in on a whim needing a simple men’s haircut. Upon walking in I was promptly greeted. I couldn’t help but notice the salons awesome décor. Everyone there was very pleasant. The girls were all smiling & everyone seemed genuinely happy to be there. I immediately felt right at home. Albeit I didn’t have an appointment, I was still hoping I’d be able to get in & out. Natalie had just finished with her client, so it worked out perfectly. Natalie did a great job with my haircut. She was very professional, while also being very down to earth. I left pleasantly surprised. I will be coming back for years to come.

This place was conveniently close by work. The previous week, I had just chopped off 3 inches of my hair. The stylist who worked on my hair was Anna Marie. I am a very get in and get out type of person when doing my hair or nails. I told her I wanted an a-​line Bob, was on my lunch, please be done in an hour. She was very surprised that I wanted to cut 4 more inches of hair. She was thrilled to do so, stating that most clients who came in just wanted to keep their length and long layers. Anna Marie was very easy to talk and actually engaged me in conversation, which not a lot of ppl can do.
The haircut and style was a bit pricier than what I’m use to.
I am happy to say that it’s been a year and my hair still looks awesome and I have no split ends.

This is not my normal salon but with my work schedule, I found this one is very convenient since I drive through on my way home from work and they’re open a bit later than most. I was surprised that when I called they had a same day appointment available. I was willing to wait longer but since it was available I took it.
I had a picture of what I thought would be the perfect hairstyle. I wanted my hair to look exactly like that picture. I was extremely disappointed when the cut was done to see, it didn’t look much like the picture at all. I wanted very defined layers the first one at my chin to give it kind of a bob feel, long swoopy bangs, but not choppy. The outcome was more subtle layers giving it a lighter look but not so bouncy like I was hoping for. Needless to say I was disappointed but… when I got home, my husband actually said he liked it. Normally when I get my hair cut, he just grunts– literally! I styled it myself this morning and it was actually not bad. I got several compliments at work this morning already. I can live with this hair and although it’s not exactly what I wanted, it still looks really nice! Cat did a great job and expecting an exact replica of a picture is probably unrealistic. Next time I will be more clear as to how I want my layers because I really do like that bouncy bob looking top layer.
For the cut experience itself, it was good. Cat was sweet and looked like she knew what she was doing. The chairs are a bit close together so there was a cramped feeling but not too bad. The products they use smell amazing and left my hair smooth and shiny. I will come back because it’s convenient and Cat really did do a good job. We need to build a relationship– you really have to do that with your stylist. See you in a few months Cat. Thank you.

I finally managed to get ahold of Danielle yesterday after I called the salon for the third time and this time the stylist gave me danielle’s number. I had texted the other number that she had previously texted me (not the salon’s landline) from which apparently was not her personal cell phone. I called them number and Danielle said she would text me later because she was at the doctors and I later sent her a text message to clarify because I didn’t think I did a good job explaining over the phone. I am posting the text messages in the photos. Basically the entire conversation made me really upset because she kept pushing the blame to me saying that I messed up my own hair, that I was rough to my hair. It was perfectly fine before the second session with her and its melting off after the second session with her. I did tell her that I had a toner and bleach bath done at a Toni and guy student salon because I didn’t want to drive to chino hills just for a toner. I just believe that its the hairstylist’s job to make sure my hair is not overprocessed. How am I (someone who is not a professional hairstylist) supposed to know if my hair cannot be pushed any further without being damaged. If the bleach bath was really so damaging then why didn’t she recommend olaplex when she balayaged it a second time? Halfway through the text messages, she checks Unilocal and noticed the bad review I left prior to texting her on Saturday. I would not leave a review without first contacting the salon first and that review was left after 2 weeks of attempts. She accused me of personally attacking her salon and said that my hair looked horrible when she first met me. Later on in the conversation when I got really fed up and just asked for a refund instead of her repairing my hair, she told me bye Felicia. I have never felt so disrespected by any hairstylist and feel that the entire conversation was just so improfessional. I went to her because she is the salon owner and I thought she would behave in the most professional way, turns out I was wrong. Anyways you can read all the text messages in the pictures. I’m so angry because it’s like going to someone and getting your hair done and discovering that it is really messed up and them saying oh too bad, that’s your own fault. She does not take any responsibility for my hair even though she WAS my hairstylist. In the pics, I covered up the number to respect her privacy.

I’m so glad I found AnnaMarie at this salon and I had been a happy camper ever since she did my hair. My hair always comes out the way I want it She’s amazing at what she does and very nice and friendly too! And she gives the best head massage while shampooing my hair.

I just got my highlights and color done by Catherine Varela and I’m very pleased with the results! She’s very professional and creative and does an absolute fabulous job! She specializes in color and as you can tell right now she’s sporting a cute mermaid look!

Came here for a Brazilian Blowout with Cat upon recommendations from several of my friends.
Cat was extremely polite and sweet. She took special care to be gentle me while detangling my forever tangling hair. At every step of the way, she was concerned with my comfort — providing towels to dab my eyes if they started watering, providing me with water, and being gentle during the wash. She even called her next customer to let them know that we were running late. I truly appreciate that and wish that everyone would be as conscious of other’s time as Cat was.
The Brazilian Blowout results itself was fantastic! My hair was soft and frizz-​free. It’s been a week and it still looks great. Cat gave me adequate advice on how to maintain it. I was interested in coloring my hair but she said to wait 3 weeks before coming back.
The salon itself was so adorable with its dark hardwood floors and chandeliers. They carried products I had never seen before like T.Co and Smith and Cult nail polish. While waiting I tried out the Smith and Cult nail polish and now am a fan! On a side note, they don’t push products on you which is great.
If you get the Groupon deal ($ 99 for a blowout, occasionally on sale on Groupon!), they will keep the Groupon price for you as well.

I was overdue for a haircut and I was traveling for business; finished work a little earlier than usual and decided to research hair salons. I am pretty particular of who I trust with my hair, but my hair needed some serious TLC (crackhead, crispy-​dead hair status)…I came across, rock, paper, scissors and read about Anna Marie’s work – I called and right away, I was greeted by Natalie on the phone. She kindly took my information down and told me she would call me right back regarding Anna Marie’s availability. She returned my call in a matter of minutes to tell me Anna Marie would take me at 2pm – I was thrilled. It is not very typical to get a same day appointment, so I was very pleased that Anna Marie made the time to squeeze me in.
I showed up for my appointment and was greeted by Ms. Anna Marie herself – very nice, professional and clearly experienced. We sat down and discussed what I wanted to do. Again, very professional, offered some suggestions and helped me ‘visualize’ or put into perception what I was asking for lol – clearly, I had no idea of what I was asking for lol… as I was showing her a short haircut and I was asking her to help me keep length but still cut it (I can be the annoying, indecisive client)
She did an excellent job! She did exactly what I asked for, was super pleasant the entire time – it was just a great experience. I highly recommend ms. Anna Marie. I’m sad I won’t be able to come to her ALL the time, being that the distance between my casa and her salon is quite a bit, BUT I hope to return to visit her next time I do business in Chino, CA :-)

This is such a cute salon with great stylists. I love my new hair cut and I trust each and everyone of them with my hair. My stylist this time was Erin and she was great!

Since 2010 I’ve gotten Japanese Straightener in Norwalk every year till 2013 when my hair got fried. The owner wasn’t at shop when her assistant left chemical on a little to long! No hard feelings just had to go really short. My hair has grown out its almost 2016 trying something different Brazilian Blow out!!! it. Almost the same but much faster. I used Unilocal to see any deals plus reviews on Brazilian Blow out. I contacted Salon Wednesday Morning asking price and seeing if they had any openings for 5:15 pm since I got off work at 5:00. To my surprise Erin scheduled my appointment and told me see you at 5:00. I arrived to Salon which is very well lighted, front parking on street, and very inviting as you walk in. I enjoyed my first visit and will definitely return.

They messed up my hair. Supposed to be a bayalage. It looks so uneven and ugly. :(
Make sure you know who is doing your hair. I booked a last minute appointment and they just stuck me with someone. This person apparently doesn’t have experience with natural hair. She said my hair would go blonde the first time. She said she knew how to do a bayalage. She left some parts of my hair in product and came back to do the other half 20 minutes later so one part is lighter than the other. My hair looked so healthy before now it looks damaged and dried out.

I came back to get my roots done and I was handled by Cat. I believe she’s new to the studio :)
She was very accommodating and sweet. She did my hair very well! This salon never disappoints :)

Love Bonnie!!! Amazing!!! Im so excited to have found a great place/​colorist close to home. The salon is cute. Throughout my time there the girls made sure I was comfortable and offered me something to drink or magazines.
I like the hair wash bowl.
As for Bonnie she listen to what I really wanted and was honest about the color it could lift to. I like how she paid close attention to my hair while it was bleaching to make sure the tones match, since my hair is so thick.
