I have been coming here for several years now with my family. Today, I was was in the area running errands. So I stopped in for a table for one. I had a pleasant time having a nice quite lunch. The food, service, and atmosphere has always been plesant. There is nothing bad I can say. It is just plesant.

Have had nothing but good food and service here. Love the prime rib! I saw a review about a burger being to rare… I love rare beef and this is the only place I know that doesn’t over cook my food.

What a letdown. So many things wrong with this experience. Here goes: 1. Cook has no clue what the phrase«medium well» means. Ordered a burger that way and received it nearly raw. Center was completely uncooked and inedible.(And when I say«center,» I mean everything inside the outer 1/8″. 2. They should be ashamed to serve the waffle part of their«Chicken and Waffles.» It is literally a frozen Eggo Waffle. Absolutely pathetic little square of cardboard. Embarrassingly bad. 3. When hostess was taking us to a table, we asked if we could have the one by the window but were told«No, that’s being saved.» Huh. Didn’t know you could save tables here. I guess some customers are more important than we are. 4. Took forever to get our food(so you’d think in all that time they could have actually cooked the burger [see #1 above]). Other tables around us(and I mean inches from us) were also asking when they might actually see some food. 5. Chicken Cordon Bleu was another order in our party. Looked like a TV dinner. 6. Just an unpleasant experience from the moment we walked in. I won’t make that mistake again.

I have now had the opportunity to both dine in and do some takeout from Delphia’s. The restaurant is split into a more formal dining room and a bar area. It seems as if the bar here keeps up with a dedicated group of locals as there are always people enjoying a drink. The dining area is nice and not too noisy but you can eat in the bar side if you’d like. I’ve had the Chicken Fricassee a couple times and it is excellent. Generously portioned, it’s loaded up with mashed potatoes, gravy, a biscuit, and big chunks of chicken. It is plenty enough for at least one meal and leftovers the next day. We’ve enjoyed some of their sandwiches and the chicken pesto pasta dish as well. Nothing has been disappointing so far. Prices are good and seem standard for a place like this. Entrees are $ 15+ and sandwiches and salads are $ 10 and below. They have street parking or there is a lot where the village offices are next door hay always has spots available.

We went to Dephia’s last night, New Year’s Eve, for the first time. I love the location, atmosphere and wait staff, the food was just average. I had the Haddock stuffed with shrimp and lobster, my husband had the beef kabobm, they were okay, they didn’t wow me, next time I’ll try something else. The Prime Rib looked great(I saw someone else enjoying it). Service was a little slow, but I had expected that for New Year’s Eve. We were able to get reservations as late as that afternoon. I would go back again.

Been coming here for many years. I would still say that they have one of the best prime rib specials in CNY, $ 18 with side and salad. Sandwiches are also tasty, staff very friendly.

I feel like this is such an average, average place. My family loves it, which is why we go, and we usually go for the chicken fricasse. While they are known for that, I don’t feel like it has a lot of flavor. I have to say I feel it is really nothing special, I sort of feel like it is two steps above what you get at the school cafeteria. It is worth noting the waitstaff is really nice, service being a bit slow, kind of the nature of the beast when dining at a place like this.

The food is good and service is fine. The chicken fricasse is excellent as is the prime rib. Really enjoyed the meal. A very casual atmosphere but pleasant. Good for couples or for larger groups. Bar is adjacent to the restaurant. Prices are very reasonable. Will be going back soon.

I ordered a strawberry shortcake… It was a biscuit(literally, a buttermilk dinner biscuit) with strawberry topping and vanilla ice cream. I have no idea how they can legally advertise that as a strawberry shortcake. Also, the«albacore tuna melt» is NOT albacore tuna.

Accept this restaurant for what it is, a small restaurant with friendly staff serving a basic menu that probably caters to local taste. I am not local so wasn’t sure what to expect. That said, the roast beef sub was tasty(juicy, you will need your napkin) and better than I expected. The fries were crispy outside and fluffy inside. This is not fancy cuisine, but is a comfortable and friendly place for lunch. I’d go here again before I would go to a national chain.

I would have liked to give a better rating, but unfortunately the food is ordinary at best. I had the Riggies which were heavy on the garlic and my wife had the chicken parm which was bland and the sauce seemed like right out of a can. On the plus side it is very clean and the wait staff is friendly and attentive. A pleasant atmosphere with Oz memorabilia decorating the walls. We will not be returning.

A bit over-priced on most items, especially for a family of 4. The Beer battered onion rings are a MUST! The wait staff was fabulous the day we went. Very helpful with our 2 kids and very accommodating. I ordered the Reuben and it was average – have had much better. My kids ordered a Turkey Club, ham club and Chicken tenders – all of which were very fresh and the kids loved them! My wife had the BLT and it was also quite fresh, but just average on flavor, again – have had much better. If you are looking for a quiet place to eat a dinner away from home then this the place. If you are looking for a hip-trendy place then you will be disappointed. This is the place your grandma goes to on Sunday for dinner after church.

Mediocre supper club fair. Didn’t fit the other reviews that had me expecting descent food. Service was nice but the sign out front was nicer than the interior. Lots of blue hairs there enjoying the prime rib and fish fry. Wife had the buffalo chicken salad which consisted of a quarter head of iceberg lettuce, couple cherry tomatoes, and chicken tenders. I had the Mediterranean penne pasta which was incredibly bland except for the low quality funky olives. It was nothing like the menu, dried basil instead of fresh, no garlic, and swimming in oil. I was also disappointed with the Manhattan clam chowder. The broth had no flavor and all of the clams and most of the veggies were shredded. Not likely to return.

My dad and I were driving over to the Indian casino looking for a place to grab a bite to eat. We chose Delphia’s because it looked super cozy and homey. There wasn’t much of a crowd, but the waitress was pleasant and chatty. Lots of Wizard of Oz memorabilia on the walls, since Chittenango, NY is L. Frank Baum’s hometown. I had a Buffalo chicken sandwich, which was spicy and delicious, though I’d prefer the blue cheese to be a bit chunkier. It was served with«Utica Greens,» that I thought would be healthy. They were bitter and unique, though they were well-cooked and full of bacon, thereby destroying any kind of nutritional content. If you’re passing through Chittenango and looking for a place to stop for a bite, I’d recommend Delphia’s for a great café experience.
