Burger was pretty good. Fries were a bit over seasoned. Waitress messed up my order though. I will still go back

Just went today for lunch and I had the pulled pork sandwich. Tasty pork with balanced sauce and gourmet roll with the perfect toasting using a little butter. It’s a large sandwich and I’m surprised it doesn’t cost more as it’s on point with a sandwich at 50% higher cost at the least. Everyone was very nice and food came in a timely manner. I would certainly go back and everything on there menu is priced low but of high quality. It seemed more of a family restaurant than diner.

I love Rowan’s! It’s a great addition to Milton. The Vermont Burger is my favorite. Love that they have take-out as well. If you haven’t been, you are missing out! Still need to try breakfast there!

Milton’s Shining Star. Rowan’s is the shining star of the modern dining scene now taking place in the new Milton. Serving up tremendously good food in staggering portions Rowan’s does it well on so many levels. For today’s breakfast the Vermont Country omelet was enjoyed. Three egg omelet with ham, onion, cheddar cheese, hash browns and a dollop of sour cream. THEVCO was served with my choice of white toast, which was soaked in butter as requested. It wasn’t possible to finish the plate it was so filling. And that doesn’t happen often. The interior was large and open. Seating was either booth or bar height tables. The staff was spot on and the overall cleanliness of the restaurant was sparkling. For unexpectedly good food in an iconically designed building look to Rowan’s for the great dining experience you crave.

Went to Rowan’s today for lunch with my husband and 2 sons(3 and 1). The hostess was nice and immediately offered a high chair and booster seat for the boys. Our booth was very spacious and clean. Out waiter was super friendly and service was quick. I ordered the Spicy Chicken Sandwhich, my husband ordered the Classic Burger, and the boys shared the Chicken Tenders and fries from the kids menu. Overall the food was very good! Certainly not a gourmet restaurant, but everything was cooked well and tasty, generous portions, and very reasonably priced! We were very satisfied with our experience and will definitely come again. :)

I’ve been to Rowan’s twice so far. Not yet for breakfast, but it’s on my list! The first time I loved it. The maple milkshake was amazing, I couldn’t stop drinking it! Perfect shake. Got a cheeseburger and that was also really good, the sauce on it was really a interesting(good!) touch. Onion rings were huge and looked homemade. My mom got some maple BBQ wings and thought they were pretty good. Second time it was okay. Got another maple shake this time it was really sweet but still really good! I got a Philly cheese steak, it was just okay, I don’t really eat them much, so I don’t have any grounds for comparison! Took a little risk and wasn’t impressed, my own fault I suppose! I got some cooked veggies in garlic and some other herb, the carrots weren’t cooked to my liking(much too crunchy/undercooked) and I was disappointed with that. My SO thought the chicken tender he got were a little too spicy for him. He can be a bit picky about spiciness. We will be back for breakfast sometime and I’ll update my review accordingly! I recognize the faults here are mainly preferences and not really taking much affect in my rating! The service was good both time, but better the first time. Second time the waitress seemed… dazed off? It was odd, but didn’t make any difference. The host was really nice and complimented our shirts(pop culture related!) That made us happy.

I’ve been here once since it changed hands and overall I was pleased. I did go during the week so not too busy but it wasn’t dead. The renovations looked nice, the service was excellent, the food was good and the price was right. The biggest downfall is the menu itself. If you’re in the mood for a burger, great — but they don’t have much else. They should expand the menu and hook up with Madeleine’s bakery for desserts. We have enough burger joints around here. I wish the owners to check out current food trends and add more options.
