This used to be a great place to shop and to find real bargains. BEAWARE!!! There are no dressing rooms, they do not allow customers to use the restroom either(they must be owned by a MAN who has no understanding or compassion for the needs a woman has to use a restroom without much notice) — this alone would normally keep me from shopping here or anywhere for that matter. I wrote a glowing review a couple of years ago but things have changed. They have a few aisles of brand new marked-down items that are $ 5.00 or less. These items are now«FINALSALE» no exchange. They don’t even have the tags marked like they used to for final sale with a red slash. So after spending 45 minutes sorting thru the marked down items(I only left because I had to pee so bad I was standing on one foot) I was informed that 5 items I had picked out at $ 5 each were Non-Exchangeable. Non-Returnable! I returned the sale items back to their proper place and purchased only the items that are exchangeable. HOW is this practice even legal in California??? They have great shoes at $ 10.00 which you can try on or exchange… Let me warn you if you are tempted into the sale racks wear a decent undershirt and some boy short panties… because you are going to want to strip down and try stuff on… I further suggest wearing a large dress and bringing an empty cup you can pee in!

This is my secret. And I don’t hide it! I just love my 10 dollar mall! It used to be call ‘Everything is a deal” and also the«$ 4.99 store» and they changed the name some years ago. They have different branches and sister stores(called Z-Fashion) in Escondido and Chula Vista, all of them selling awesome clothing for $ 10 or less. My favorite one to go is the one in Downtown, I adore the so called ‘guetto-glam’ pieces you can find there if you like neon colors and a lot of bling bling as I do. You can find from ‘to wear everyday’ clothes to party outfits to lingerie. Some very irregular quality, but some are just brand named pieces that are leftovers from previous years from ‘nice department stores’. All new. I became an expert in getting the best out of these stores and although you can also shop online, the ‘bazaar like’ experience is much better messing around the color coordinated tops and blouses. What you get here that is super cheap and awesome: –boots(in the floor above, and you have to pay separately in the register there). All kinds, all sizes, all colors and all styles. Awesome. Who care if plastic. Plastic is fantastic! –sandals: same as above. –those belts you would like to find in Nordstrom but they are too glam to be accepted by mainstream customers. –very nicely fitting jackets in funky colors. –minis, mins and more minis. –minidresses(I gues the best of the best, sorryyyy) –underwear, great quality and sexy looking. You can get coupons at The Reader, they usually are inserted in every week’s issue. Never miss an opportunity! Awesome store, with nice customer service
