Einstein Bros Bagels

We are regulars here and love it. It’s also really near our home so 5 stars! They remember our names and the service here is great! The downside is that they don’t have that much space to sit inside the store. Also when you ask to double-​toast, most of the time it is burnt, so I wish they could work on that. The bagels here aren’t the best, like NY bagels, but it’s still good. But we still LOVE this place.

Terrible service, place is super dirty! Food was below average! Will never return!!! Owners were not interested in satisfying their customers! Awful experience!!!

This place no longer exists. Take it off Unilocal so that you don’t waste anyone’s time driving to a housing unit. If it does exist, please update the address.

I love the bagels from Einstein, but the staff at this location could use some customer service training. Aside from them being unfriendly, the bagels seem to rarely be restocked when they run low and the logistical layout of the store is bad. Line starts at the back of the store in a very narrow space that has tables on one side & the counter on the other. So getting in line, you’re squeezing past & between people at the tables and those coming towards you getting their orders filled at the counter.

The asiago cheese bagels are da bomb! Toast them with a salmon/​cream cheese shmear, all kinds of delicious. The coffee is bold and dark like I like too.

My go to place for a bagel and coffee when I’m home. It is either here or panera when I’m not leaving too far from the hood. The people here are always super sweet. Even today when I wanted soup with my samidge. Yes they probably thought I was crazy but I didn’t care. I love tomato soup especially dipping my samidge in it! So tasty.
Love that they use fresh cucumbers and tomatoes in the samidges. They have random special samidges but it makes me sad when the ones I really liked are gone. Bagels are always fresh and tasty too!

Its my first time here and I get disappointing service. 10 customers after me (no I am not exaggerating either) get their food before I get mine. For some reason, my order gets lost and forgotten about and the fact that I’ve been standing there for a while finally gave them the hint something was wrong with my order.
I haven’t even taken a bite out of my sandwich yet but at this point, it doesn’t matter how good the food tastes, I won’t be coming back to this location.
And I’m sorry to say but the compensated brownie doesn’t suffice for the time wasted standing around waiting for my food.

Bagel is good but the employees need to show more courtesy to the local customers.

First off, they don’t seem to bake anything at this location. It is one of those sliver in a wall places with no room to even stand and wait for your order. I was watching them pull bagels out of bags from the back of the location, which leads me to believe that they ship in their bagels. Which brings us to the next point, it’s the smallest one ever. You order walking in and then stand in a much longer line waiting to pay. The few people who’s order I could hear were correcting the guy taking their money. It seemed that the other guy might not be paying real close attention. No on gets their food by the time they pay, so we all gather near the only free area to stand, the coffee station. Which is rarely free of people waiting for more coffee. There is the next problem. They never make coffee while other coffee of out from. Vanilla and regular coffee seems to be impossible to predict as a popular choice. I was there this morning for 25 minutes from, «I’d like a coffee refill» until I finally just grabbed some and waited until I got to my destination until I could prepare it with cream and Splenda because I was sick of excusing myself just to move around.
It seems like I always forget how bad they are after a month or so and think I can just swing by for some coffee.

Bad service! They never restock their bagels! I can’t stand this place! I came here because it’s close to my house. But this will be my last time coming here!
Oh and they do not take debit cards!
Manager was rude as hell! I asked him when did they not take debit cards and he rudely answer me in Spanish then added in English that no Einstein takes debit cards only cash! Really! I was at Einstein at Mission Gorge a couple of days before and they took debit cards!

BEST BAGELS & SHMEAR I’VE EVER HAD!
I love this place. If it was cheaper & closer to home, I’d probably be broke & 10 pounds heavier. So I guess it’s a good and bad thing that it’s not.
I’ve been here many times and I brought my boyfriend here for the first time today. Service was great as usual. The place was clean as usual. The bagels & shmear were AWESOME as usual!
I have nothing to complain about! Go eat some bagels & shmear!

The food was good the person who took my order was not plugged in. I speak clearly when I order. I had to repeat my simple order of Onion Bagel with turkey and Swiss Cheese melt, 3 times woman who took the order was lost. Fortunately the is a guy who works there (he said he’d been doing this for 20 years) who while taking orders separately was keeping an open ear to what she was doing and keep her from messing up my order.

I only like chains when they are hanging around my neck, preferably with a giant Volkswagen symbol or other car paraphernalia.
Out of severe hunger-​induced psychosis I stopped at Einstein Brothers Bagel chain for a cup of soup.
This was a bargain of epic proportions! I received a nice little cup of chili, along with a full-​sized bagel, (toasted or plain) for $ 2.99! I can’t even get a latte for that! It doesn’t matter that I gave the bagel away, the fact that it came this way made me sing a little ditty.
If it wasn’t for my gluten-​restricted diet, I would have dunked that chewy little tire right into my cup of chili love! Stupid gluten, you’re in everything!

Dude, What happened to your breakfast sanwiches??? They used to be so good, but no matter which EB’s I go to, all places changed their B-​fast sandwiches.
The turkey sausage and cheddar sandwich used to be tasty. Now it’s tastes fake.
The coffee is always pretty good tho.
Service has dropped in quality.
