This place is located on H street it’s been here for a long time I came here for some bottles for an event that I’m having on Saturday! the prices are reasonable and they have all kinds of selections in brands I like coming to this place because they give me free ice!!!

Total jerks.
I bought kegs here for my in home kegerator for about a year. Prices are average. Selection is so-​so. But the store was located somewhat conveniently.
I hadn’t been using my kegerator for a LONG time. I thought that I HAD to return the keg to them (the regulatory paperwork to buy a keg is ridiculous. They have a book and the state issues stickers that have to stay on the keg or its a crime).
So I brought the keg back (it had been a long time). The owners were rude, totally impossible to understand. And informed me that after 24 hours I had bought the keg. Not a deposit after 24 hours. (Warning, they will do that to you for a keg tap/​pump too!!)
I exchanged SEVERAL kegs with them and it was never a problem.
When i was just turning it in, they acted like I was trying to steal from them. I realized that my situation was unusual. But if you own a kegerator, and aren’t going to kill your keg and return the empty within 24 hours, then these guys will not be returning your «deposit.»
They were so confused by me even coming in, and so instantly hostile, that communication was worthless. They assumed that I had rented a tap, pump etc.
by the time they figured out that I understood that I wasn’t getting a deposit back, that had totally shut their narrow minds. I told them that the way the initial paperwork read, I thought I HAD to return the keg. I literally asked them to keep it, no money returned, nothing, and they yelled «NO»
I asked again about the 24 hours and told them that a lot of people don’t drink a whole keg in 24 hours. They didn’t care. If you keep it longer than 24 hours, they will not return the deposit.
There are few things more frustrating than a narrow minded person that doesn’t understand what you are saying, yet assumes he does before you finish your sentence. Expect that feeling at this place.
