I purchased the «Extended Warranty» so it would be covered, but the «Extended Warranty» they sell is actually DAMAGE INSURANCE. It will NOT cover any manufacturer defect. Plus as an added bonus, the second party «warranty» company Ultra Shield is very unprofessional and difficult to deal with.
Take my advise and do NOT waste your money on the Ultra Shield «Extended Warranty»

AVOID LAZY BOY AT ALL COST!!! DO NOT SHOP HERE. PAID NEARLY $ 4,000 FOR A COUCH AND LOVE SEAT AND IT WAS DEAD WITHIN 6 months!
I got them to come out and replace all the padding/​stuffing and they said «WE» doubled the stuffing so you dont have more issues…
6 months later more problems, the threading was coming UNdone… never returned phone calls until i didn’t notice but my year warranty expired and they will not fix it now. Convenient.
now 3 years into this large piece of Cr** a waste of 4k and I called a very respectable furniture repair place and they despise La Z Crud furniture too… they are repairing something from lazy crud weekly and it is «keeping» them in business.
Please trust me… the quality is subpar and you should avoid at all cost.
