Over crowded, not clean at all, bad services, not friendly services and not enough parking at all. Not coming again at all.

So this is an update. I came to this place last night with my two sisters that have never been here just for fun, and fun it was. The staff was amazing and the main security guy was so nice(and really hot). The standard of service is just like we had the last time we came here in June. Only 3 strippers this time and the show was a little short. These guys were really nice though. Two male strippers came to dance with our group of 5 girls after the show. It got hot and there were serious haters in the room. This will probably be the last time I come though because one of my sisters was pushed really hard from a girl that wanted to dance with the stripper. Security did not intervene. My sister almost fell to the ground. The male stripper did not dance with that girl and came back to our table to continue dancing with us. By then we had 2 strippers dancing with our group and the other women got really jealous and mean to us. We never even asked for these guys to come over to dance with us. I was truly surprised when they came to our table. We had to leave early because I feared the security would not be able to prevent a beer bottle being thrown at our head. The male strippers dancing with us caused the other women to get very aggressive to us. The women customers will make this a dangerous place to be if they think you are hogging the strippers. I’m a little sad that I won’t be returning because its such a fun place for the ladies.

This place has just gone down the drain!!! Everytime i come here it seems cover goes up… and to top it off their main security guy is so rude. We had a little misunderstanding with the secuirty there and the owner wanted to fight one of the guys that was in our group. Really!!! So unprofessional! Save your money or go some where else this place is not what it used to be!

I used to go there once in a while, and at least I would get a table right away. Now they think it’s fucking downtown and you have to make reservations to get a table and pay for it. The DJ is still stucked on «la gasolina by Daddy Yankee» and they need to push the«free before XX» policy until 10pm at least. The waiters think they’re too good to come check on you a little more often. in other words, se me hicieron super mamones la ultima vez que fui, the only reason why I’d go back is because I like Ingratos and the guy that plays the Congas …

wow, after been one of my favorite places its just not the same anymore, i know the economy is bad but come on this is not one of the nicest place neither, they will force you to get a table and when you say ok, how much do you have to spend to get a table? two buckets of beer! but i dont drink beer! sorry you will have to buy a bucket if you want to seat down… really?!? i think i would spend more with my drinks than buying beers… whatever! all i’m saying is that whoever is running this place have no idea how to do business!

«Hey cool… Natalia La Fourcade is playing there.» (Buys tickets online through Ticketmaster) «Hey not cool, the closest place I can go to pick these tickets up is in Huntington Beach. « Let’s see, when was the last time you pulled up to a drive through, ordered your meal and after paying they told you that your food is ready 60 miles away?

it took way too long to get two fuc*en Coronas! The ten dollar charge is ridiculous and the location sucks! I’m not sure if I can call it a parking lot but that little dirt area in front of the club was packed so parking was a pain as well. This was Saturday night and some local rock en espanol band was playing the usual mana, Café tacva, enanitos verdes covers that every band usually plays. This place is not that big and the crowd did not really seem to friendly. not that i give a crap because i still know how to have a good time but driving from clairemont to Chula vista for this? not worth it. Oh i gave it two stars because I counted more than 10 sexy latinas(big fan).

I like this place for it’s music rock en espanol all night. I get tired of going to clubs and hearing hip-hop all the time it’s a nice change in the routine. It’s a bit far south from my usual hang out spots but i think it’s cool every now and then to change it up and get to meet some new people. At Over the Border the people here are all usually hispanic but you do get a bit of a mix. The house band is good in my opinion i love this kind of music so it for sure gets me hyped! lol You’ll usually find the owner in here too hes a pretty cool guy and mellow. I haven’t seen any problems ever happen here so to me it seems like a cool spot to go dance and have some drinks.

Over The Border is a Rock En Espanol Rock Club/Dance Club. They have concerts every month with well known groups(Juanes, Enanitos Vedes, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, Fobia, Prisioneros, Victimas, etc… Have played there. They mix Latin Rock/Pop/Reggaeton/Dance Music with Hip Hop and House. There is usually a good looking crowd, they offer bottle service(You’ll usually see Grey Goose, Remy Martin, Buchanan’s at the tables) But, the bar does not have the best Back Bar selection. They have an outdoor bar and smoking patio. On Thursdays they have Male Exotic Dancers for the ladies, So Guys They are ready to jump on you after the show !!! Good day to meet a nice girl. The Dj has been playing great music. Los Ingratoz(Popular Latin Cover Band) play there on Fri-Sat. Get there early to beat the cover.

Being new to S. D my friends and I decided we’d explore and go out for spanish music bailaring. So I found this place, it sounded ok, being they have a live band and all. I should have taken the first sign when I called and in the background I could hear someone singing horribly. I asked the phone attendant«oh, cool! you have karaōke right now?» she said«no, its the band», I should’ve taken that as a sign, but no, I insisted. We drove off to what felt like um SYRIA, yep in the middle of nowhere(2nd sign), got there, no parking(3rd sign), first of all there wasnt even a parking«lot» I felt like I was in the rancho somewhere on the outskirts of Mexicali at a quinceanera, I mean im really mexican and those of you who are as well and have been to those relative weddings and parties and such will know what I mean. Yep, I suddenly was transported to my childhood days when my parents would make me go to the rancho and party with my lil preemos. So anywho, we parked like in the dark side road, walked in our cute lil heels, yes, even Christian. We got there paid the stupid $ 10 they charge, and when I walked in, I regreted it! We said to each other«I think were getting in a fight tonight» LOL, and not because were conflictive but because the place was overly packed, way over fire hazard regulations and because the room was full of naca girls from the rancho. Everyone was rude and pushy, and to top it off it took FOREVER to get a drink. So, my friends and I stayed positive and said«lets try to have fun, were already here, and it cant be this bad» so we stayed, had a couple jaeger-bombs, and as I was walking out to the dance floor this idiot guy spills his beer on me, but oh no, did he say sorry? um no thanks!!! The rest is history, and you can pretty much guess how the rest of the 30 minutes went right? Thankfully we did not get shot, or jumped, and got home safe :)

One word describes this place: GHETTO! And a $ 10 cover? Are you kidding me?
