This place has big pieces of sushi Good for lunch. I would not consider it great but it’s A-OK place. If you are craving something. For 7 bucks can’t go wrong.

This place is utterly disgusting. The miso soup tasted like black coffee. Our rolls tasted worse than grocery story sushi!!! The rice was old and even hard to chew. The salmon tasted old and not fresh at all!! We ended up throwing out all of our food and going next door to taco shop. Will never go back here!!! I wish I could give zero stars.

Sushi. I’m not a huge fan but my wife is. A lot of sushi for the price. I got the teriyaki beef and Cali roll. They were supposed to bring miso soup but they forgot. Originally gave this 4 stars until we found plastic in my wife’s sushi roll. Yuck! They also finally brought our miso after asking again, no flavor.

Awful! Small bites of rice under funny tasting fish. NOPLATES, no ginger or wasabi. The cashier didn’t know the menu. Over all not a place I would ever recommend to anyone.

This place is really good if you are not looking to spend a lot of money, and the service is pretty good. I usually get the spicy tuna maki and it’s really good!

Friendly staff. Good portions. Reasonable prices. A little too much rice and not enough filling for my liking. I aways get the spicy salmon roll with a side of spicy mayo. The cup of miso soup is good too.

Went in today for lunch like around 1 and there was only one person sitting there. Didn’t really know what to order and didn’t like that their menus doesn’t say what each sushi roll contains besides just the name of it. That I kept asking the cashier what it contained. A little frustrating!!! It’s a place you order at the register not somewhere you sit and order so it’s more like a take out place. But ended up ordering the crunchy roll and spicy tuna roll with another order but forgot the name but had spicy tuna on top of it with crab and avocado. Each order came with a side of salad and a side of little tiny looked like like fried tacos don’t know what they were(lol) all I know they were so good. To my sorprise the sushi rolls were really big. But not for my liking felt like I was more rice than anything else. Didn’t even finish my order. Love sushi don’t get me wrong but don’t know I wasn’t really feeling this place. Great portions but They tasted okay. The place is really clean but The person never checked on me what’s o ever. I was the only person there since the other person left 5min after I got there. Not going back didn’t really get a good first impression. The food is alright tasted better.

Served by a gorgeous cashier with glasses. Great service and good food for the price. I’ve never gotten any bad food here, and I have absolutely no complaints. The cute cashier makes it even better. If you’re looking for sushi and don’t want to spend a ton of cash, this is the place to go. Ask for the low sodium soy sauce though, the normal stuff they have on the tables is super salty.

Awesome reasonably priced sushi. It’s always good for a good sushi fix. They have a huge menu too! The only thing that knocked them down was the wait time. They take longer than any sushi place I’ve been to, but they are certainly worth the wait. Get your sushi fix here!

If you are looking for a «fast food» type sushi, then I highly suggest Sushi man. They are located in Eastlake and share the area with numerous eateries. We came to the area after heading to the gym and my daughter wanted Frozen Yogurt at Golden Spoon and as we were walking there I saw that their crunchy roll was discounted to $ 6.99 on Saturdays, so of course we went there first. The portion was great and it came with 8 pieces. The only thing I didn’t like was I felt they didn’t put enough sweet sauce(eel sauce) on so I asked for a bit more and they charged me .50 cents. I wish I took a picture to show you but that was my only complaint. My daughter liked her crab roll and Jose got the Hawaii roll. They both enjoyed it.

Generous portions. I ordered an Alaskan roll and it was a big roll! It also tasted fresh. It took a little long to get my order not too bad tho I was just in a hurry. There’s a beautiful koi pond here and frozen yogurt place to have dessert after. Not only that but the location is great lots of shops so a great place to eat while on the go running errands. The place looks clean but I get the impression it’s more take out than a place to chill for dinner or whatever. Still, there are nice tables near the pond and great music playing. Not only that, they have boba! I sing this word because I like boba. This time however I did not try the boba here because I had things to do but maybe another time. Come here for lunch it is relaxing and delicious.

If you’re just the mood to get a sushi fix then order the hand rolls which is 4 large pieces. If not everything is over priced. The avocado was brown/black in my spicy salmon roll-I picked it out but I was nervous about eating my roll. A side of eel sauce is $ 1 and spicy mayo is .50 additional charge.

If you are looking for a quick sushi fix, I recommend this establishment. I had the mega bento that came with 5 sushi pieces of sushi, tiny portion of salad, side of rice and tempura mix. The tempura had a good flavor. My son had the udon bowl plus a side tempura. He enjoyed them both.

Over priced fast food sushi. Very disappointed. The staff was friendly and informative but not a 4⁄5 star joint to me at all! The rolls are huge from all the rice surrounding it. The sashimi is poorly cut and ridiculously thin. Not appealing at all and makes you question if it was fresh or should even be eaten. The beef teriyaki had poor flavor and their salad is served with ranch dressing. So disappointed and will never be back. They only have 2 high chair so parents beware!

I ordered the spicy chicken bento box with a thai tea boba slush. Thai tea was a bit too creamy and too sweet for my liking, I did not read the little sign in the bottom that it was a slush drink sadly. The spicy chicken was mostly broccoli and mushrooms and big strips of chicken breast, savory with a kick. The two pieces of dumplings tasted like they’re bought from Trader Joe’s next door, but nicely cooked(that’s if they were from there). I liked how the rice was topped with black sesame seeds and dried seaweed, I did not need to add soy sauce. The place was clean and had a good ambiance to stay and eat in. If I’m back in town, will definitely try the sushi next time!

Solid«fast» sushi. Huge rolls and large pieces of fresh fish. I was delighted that I could have sushi without the whole sushi restaurant experience. When you’re on the go or with kids this is a good place. Eat outside and enjoy the water, turtles & fish. Good 25 cent add on miso. Only thing I didn’t care for was they charge for sauces(spicy mayo, eel sauce). I’m already spending $ 10. Should get one free at least! **Take note owners! Can’t wait to go back next time I have to go Trader Joes or Sprouts. P.S. «Maki just means Sushi»
