These donuts were good but I would like to find good old fashion mom and pop store where I can get those awesome donuts that take me back to when I was a kid. This is a little to commercialized for me but they were still good.

Everytime that I come here past 9:00 pm there is no donuts left. I ask the kid behind the counter and he says until tomorrow.

Sometimes you just want a donut for dinner. These guys have it, and more. Nice bunch of guys. My chocolate twists always taste killer.

Not sure where the bad reviews come from. This place has awesome freshly made donuts. Only thing is the staff is kind of young and sometimes I think the music is kind of loud. But seriously, it’s a donut shop, they’re not managing my 401k account. Overall a really good place for donuts.

Came here around 8:00pm and there were plenty of donuts! The guy that helped us was attentive, smiled, and had great customer service :) Someone was in the back was whipping up more donuts which was awesome because that tells me that this 24 hour Yum Yum haven is true to its hours and its NAME. They’ll have donuts ready around the clock! We got 3 kinds of donut holes as well as chocolate donuts with sprinkles! I’ve never had the coffee but if you don’t like it here, you can go next door to the Starbucks(if they’re open: P) There’s free wifi here and seating to enjoy your donuts while you read the paper or study! I’m so glad there’s good donuts in this area! check out my donut pics! Happy eating! LOL Yum yum! :D

Donuts are sometimes dry i guess maybe a 1 or 2 old, place is always clean i do think the guys working there should lower the music but since they look 16 and 18 i guess thats what teenagers do, coconut and chocolate covered always are good cofee is good also.

Very convenient donut shop that is open 24hrs a day! So you could come and get your delicious donuts at anytime of the day! They have a huge selection of donuts, too many to mention here. I’m a simple guy so i get most of the time a simple chocolate donut. They also make delicious breakfast sandwiches combos like the breakfast bacon and cheddar, breakfast chorizo, breakfast sausage egg and cheese. They also carry fresh bagels. This place is the spot to come get your breakfast on the go before going to work. With a delicious hot cup of coffee and a donut or a breakfast sandwich.

It’s my go-to location to pick up donuts for my staff on my way to the office. The donuts are good and I agree with other reviewers that they seem to run out during the morning rush and don’t seem to figure out that they need to make more donuts… especially on a holiday weekend. I’ve always been happy with the service. Sometimes I think there’s a language gap and they could misunderstand but they are always smiling and apologize if they don’t have a lot of donuts. Here’s the thing… it’s pretty much the only donut shop in my area that is on my way to work. Welcome to suburbia. So I will keep coming here.

Let me start off by saying freshest doughnuts I have had in a long time! Why 1 star? This must be I have an Attitude or personality of a wet mop shopping center! First off no smile or hello just what do you want??? Really??? Then charge me for 2 doughnuts when clearly I asked for 1!!! THEWORSTCUSTOMERSERVICEEVER! Will I return ABSOLUTELYNOT!!! I grew up here and I could go west into town and find better doughnuts and personality! Honestly the manager should really reconsider these employees or give them customer service training.

This place has to be the worst donut shop on the planet! How the heck are you going to say you’re open 24 hours and have little to no donuts half of the time! The employees there don’t seem to care and never one sorry to be had.

For some reason I had the urge to eat donut, so I went to Yum Yum Donut. This one is in Canyon Plaza. When I walked in, I immediately noticed there are people eating inside. They now make tuna sandwiches. Businesses now a days had to reinvent their menus so as to survive this economy we are in today. The person on the other side of the glass counter ask what I want and I just stood there not able to make a decision right away. There’s so many selection to pick, so I just went for the apple fritters my favorite for $ 0.99 cents each. They are so yummy and kind a crunchy. I also bought one of their new featured donuts ~cronas~“bacon cinnamon.“ By the way, they’re open as early as 6 am. A convenient place to stop by on your way to work, with coffee and donut, what else could you ask for?

The staff here is exceptional!!! My fiancé and I went randomly for the first time and every single staff member greeted us with a smile. They are the definition of excellent customer service. The donuts were fresh, the coffee was hot. What else can I say?

The consistency at this particular Yum Yum Donuts is not the same as other ones I’ve been to. But, that’s a good thing. I’ve been going to this location for a few decades. And while I don’t live in Chula Vista anymore, I always make it a point to pick up a donut whenever I visit friends and family. The glazed twists here are exceptionally good. There aren’t many things better than an early Sunday morning with a glazed twist in one hand, the other hand turning the morning paper, and a coffee on the table. From what I hear, they also have cream puffs now. They should just go ahead and change their name to Nom Nom Donuts.

Stopped in for a sweet snack. I ordered a strawberry frosted doughnut. Pretty good, uneventful, but tasty. I would go again and try another flavor. Why 4 stars? I asked for bavarian cream(boston cream), they were out. Lemon filled? They didn’t have that.

Convenient doughnut shop in the suburbs where there isn’t much else other than a vast land of houses and streets. Often times they are sold out of any good donuts. They also used to be open 24 hours but I have seen them closed after midnight several times when I am ending my night in the beginning hours of morning. I remember my last visit they didn’t have any milk at all for sale. They said they«sell out fast in the mornings.» Sorry to hear that they use an «Early-bird-gets-the-worm» business plan. Doughnut shop that doesn’t have enough milk for sale needs to re-examine their business goals. Really need to work on that guys.

If I can give it 0 stars I would! Man this place is horrible! It almost NEVERHASDONUTS in the evening! I’ve come here 4 times & every time they don’t have any it’s crazy! Once I was told to come back in a hour so I came back 1 hour & half later & guess what? Yup NODONUTS! And it was me &2 other customers & we talked on the way out & we ALL had the same problem with this place & every time they say no Donuts the kid that works there & the other workers tell us no with a smirk & no apologies! Like if they get a kick out of it! Once I came in at midnight & they said no donuts till 4am! So why are they open! There getting paid for nothing! The reason I’ve come here before is cuz it’s the only Donut place near by. But I don’t care no more I will never come here now I drive out of my way to the National City Yum Yum & there great they always have Donuts & are nice & the one on E Street in CV is also good & always has Donuts. It’s obvious the night workers here are lazy & don’t care. And I guess the manger here don’t care either! This is the worst Donut place ever not even Homer Simpson would come here to eat a Donut that’s how bad it is! And I’m not alone I’ve talked to neighbors around here & they feel the same!

So I wasn’t as impressed the first time I came here… But stopped by again the other morning to get donuts for coworkers, and I’m a bit more satisfied… The guys working were friendly and helpful… They serve classic style donuts as well as coffee drinks and sandwiches… Don’t expect anything too trendy or fancy. I tried a few bites of their maple bar as well as a chocolate glazed donut… Both were soft and tasted fresh. The glaze was light and not too overpowering or sweet. In a convenient location on telegraph just off 805… The guys behind the counter were all very friendly and I was helped right away. Just so you know… My favorite donut is classic with chocolate frosting(I love them ridges!)… And also the Boston one(custard filled with chocolate frosting)… Hard to mess those two up!

Within a strip mall off of Telegraph Canyon and 805 Freeway… Yum Yum Donuts sits nestled amongs an outdoor strip mall with patrons such as VONS, CVS, Tap Tap Boba, Starbucks, Mandarin Canton, Haircut Zone, McDonalds, Subway, Auto Club of So. Cal(Triple«A»), UPS Store… Fairly pedestrian Yum Yum Donuts. A store mainly for«convenience» and«happens to be there», than a «destination point».
