Although rather pricey, it’s so good and worth it. I don’t know what they marinate their chicken kabobs in but omg! The sauce on the side ups the ante! They give large portions as well, more like a meal to share with a friend.

The food — excellent Belly Dancing Atmosphere — so friendly and inviting. And our waiter Jordan perfect service. Knows the menu, can answer any question and steller attention to details. Will definitely be back.

Food is great. However they complained about using a groupon and not giving a big tip. Yes in front of the other people in there– she neglected us and after this ill drive to west chester for the best food

The food was good and portions were generous. The bread delicious, staff friendly and helpful. There were vegetarian options — I shared the samosa appetizer and grilled veggie kabobs which were both quite tasty. They got us in and out in good time for our evening event, and we enjoyed the belly dancer as well.

What a nice surprise. The food was delicious and the staff accommodating. Bread is homemade and vegetables fresh. Only thing missing for our lunch meeting was belly dancers!

I purchased a VALENTINE’S DAYGROUPONSPECIAL. Once there on VALENTINE’S DAYWEEKEND. They told me that they didn’t honor groupons this particular weekend, even though that groupon was for this weekend and expires tomorrow. The waitress was very rude about it too. How disappointing.

I strongly recommend spending your valuable time and money elsewhere. The atmosphere and service, upon entering the establishment, were pleasant. Our waitress(Laura) was attentive and friendly. The food was not great — we ordered hummus, the falafel plate, and shawarma, all of which were decidedly middle-of-the road. Not offensive, but certainly not worth the price($ 8 for the hummus, $ 19 for the entrees). What was quite offensive, on the other hand, was the establishment’s refusal to accept my Groupon deal. Even if you do not use Groupon on your visit, I think their behavior should warn you to steer clear. They claimed that they do not take any coupons on «special events.» First, they are taking some liberty with their definition of a special event, since we went for dinner the night BEFORE Valentine’s Day. I’ll make sure I approach my boss with this logic and demand time of the days before Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Easter. Further, and more critically, the Groupon fine text did NOT stipulate that the deal was only valid on certain dates, so in essence Andy’s Mediterranean is committing false advertising. The manager did not care and insulted my intelligence, telling me «all customers know that we do not accept coupons on special occasions.» Nice. I suggest that you avoid this business, unless you’d like to leave with both a literal and figurative bad taste in your mouth.

The inside is nice and welcoming. The menu has a relatively good amount of choices. I got the stuffed grape leaves which I usually like. I didn’t like their version. We also got some sort of combo platter with all if the meat kebabs. Our server forgot to tell us which meat was which, so we didn’t really know what we were eating. All of that and two $ 6 draft beers(really?) ended up costing $ 60. Not worth it.

I have been going to Andy’s on and off since it was a Mediterranean grocery with a small sandwich counter. It has grown to quite the fancy establishment. The interior is very well done, the courtyard area is nice for large groups to meet for lunch. They have belly dancing on some nights but I have to admit I could do without all that while I am eating. Are you supposed to make eye contact? Throw money? I get freaked out and am not sure what to do and it disrupts my digestion. The food is pretty good, though I do find it to be a tad overpriced for what you get. They have a fair amount of vegetarian options. The service is hit and miss. I have been there and gone way too long trying to get a drink refill. Andy is friendlyish and has a bit of an attitude that I imagine could push people away– sort of a «come on in– would you like to have a seat. I don’t care if you do or you don’t. Get outta here!» They do seem to appreciate returning customers and great you like an old friend they may have to slap some sense into. But it is part of the experience. They are also good for carryout. A sampler appetizer tray is a nice thing to take to a party where you are asked to bring a dish but are too lazy to actually prepare something.

OMG. That’s all I can say. And NOTOMG in a good way! I went here tonight with my husband and daughter. My daughter was performing with the Mayfest Youth Choir at Saengerfest, and we thought Andy’s would be a nice place to grab some dinner before her performance.(We have eaten at Andy’s on several occasions, but not in the past year or so). We were met by a middle aged man(who we later found out was the owner) who acted as though we were interrupting something very important by walking in the door. He didn’t even greet us, just told is to follow him and pointed to an empty table. It was a good five minutes before our waitress came to us, even though few other patrons were there. After we got our water and menus, we waited about another ten minutes. We noticed that the same man who had seated us was engaged in some heavy conversation with two female employees. As my husband approached them to ask whether we could get waited on, one of the females broke away from the group, came to our table, and took our orders. Shortly thereafter, we heard some heated voices from the kitchen speaking in Greek or Arabic or whatever language these people speak as a first language. The voices became more and more heated until they were literally shouting. One of the female employees walked into the kitchen with a stricken look on her face. Then the middle-aged man stormed from the kitchen and announced to the entire restaurant – in English – «I DON’T CARE! I OWNTHIS F***INGPLACE!» That was our cue to leave. By this time, we only had a few minutes before my daughter’s chorus call. We had to «settle» for a McDonald’s that was on our way. But guess what? The waitress there greeted us with a smile, our order was taken promptly, our food was good and served to us promptly, and nobody shouted the F-Bomb in front of my teenaged daughter. I am permanently scratching Andy’s off my list of places to eat, and I recommend that you do the same!

I really had high expectations of this place based on all of the awards. Was it good? I suppose. But when compared to the food I’ve been served in the Lebanese homes of my relatives it’s subpar. The tabouleh was full of stems(a big no-no) and contained as much bulgur as tomato(another no-no). I liked the chunky baba and the lebneh was spot on but I’m not sure the hummus was made from peeled chick peas. The lunchtime gyro was over priced and contained what tasted like the same old Kronos Gyro meat cone that places like Mike’s Chili & Gyros serves, only Mikes gives you a fully stuffed pita and not the 5 – 6 thin slices Andy’s served me. The fries were good though. The small, thick pita will fill you quickly but you can’t wrap a falafel or few chunks of Tawook or Mishwi between it. Will I return? Yes. I don’t believe one visit can sum up a small place like Andy’s.

My wife and I have gone here 3 times, 2 in the past year. This past time the food was amazing. We ordered three small dishes, 2 entrees and dessert. EVERYTHING was delicious. We definitely were not expecting the the hummus to be incredible, the tabouleh to be perfect… And the rice in my entrée was the best rice I have had in years! The rice was just the filler, it wasn’t even the main focus of the dish, which was great too. We ordered way too much and took a lot of it home. It was still great as leftovers! On top of everything else we were treated to a belly dancer performance. I do not know if that is standard Saturday treatment but it made the night memorable. I definitely recommend Andy’s to all food eaters on planet earth.

The Food is good and we have never had a bad meal, however the service and atmosphere is less than average and has declined over time. Very disappointed as they are selective on who they greet and give personal attention to. I often would come here for the food and the atmosphere, however if I do not receive any attention or service I can order at the counter of a fast food restaurant with the same results.

I just finished writing a review for an exceptional restaurant, it was exactly what I love about family owned restaurants and everything’s you’d want in your dining experience. This place is the exact opposite. I recently moved to the neighborhood and was hoping Andy’s could become a place I could walk to or enjoy a dinner or lunch anytime of the week. Needless to say, I was highly disappointed. I have visited twice, the last time being the absolute worst. We had arranged to go to Andy’s as part of my friend’s bachelorette celebration. She’s a fan of a good tea, dessert, and hooka, and we thought we could give Andy’s a try. We walked in around 9pm, the restaurant closes at 11. The restaurant was empty… which makes much more sense after our soon-to-be encounter with the wait staff. Our waiter seemed less than pleased to seat us and impatiently handed out the menus. We asked him what he’d recommend for hooka and he didn’t seem to know or care what types they offer. After feeling a bit unwelcome, we decided to leave and politely asked for our checks. at that point we had only ordered tea. He walked away and didn’t come back… after about 10 minutes, we assumed he wasn’t going to return so we left cash on the table and walked towards the entrance. There we ran into whom I believe was the cook, the owner was nowhere to be seen. My sister and I told him that we were sorry(kicked myself later for apologizing, he didn’t deserve it) for leaving but we felt very unwelcome by our waiter, and were disappointed by the service. What he had to say to that was… and I quote, «No one comes in here at 9pm, you should’ve been here by 7. We had a belly dancer and we had to send her home. We are known for our food, not our hooka.» To which all I have to say is… if you it says you are open until 11pm on your door, your menu reads that you serve tea and hooka, you should honor it. The end. The most disturbing thing about the whole experience is the way they treat their customers… if you don’t want customers past 9pm… change your store hours. I am of middle eastern decent as are they, and even culturally that is not how you treat PEOPLE, not to mention, your customers. To comment on the food since I had visited once before this experience, I would say it is subpar. If you do plan on giving it a try the only thing I’d recommend is the appetizer platter. the food is overpriced for what you get. I ordered the falafel that came in a simple garden salad. My parents shop at restaurant depot, where a lot of restaurants get their supplies, and have bought these same falafels from there. They come frozen… My opinion: if you’re menu is so big you can’t make your own falafels, go for a smaller menu, with home-made, fresh options. I don’t like writing negative reviews, but after my last experience at Andy’s, I think it’s well deserved. I am sure there are people that have had pleasant experiences here. but I think it’s safe to say, they don’t treat all their customers with the same level of respect.

I’ve been going to Andy’s for as long as I can remember, before I even knew what the heck Shawarma was nor could truly tell you anything about tzatziki. In fact, I believe I cut most of my Mediterranian teeth at Andy’s, learning about the spice and preparation of his dishes and they became the benchmark for all others. Andy’s has charm. I love sitting in the upper deck overlooking the bar area and watching the hub bub of a restaurant. It’s more a gathering where you enjoy the company of the crowd rather than just your own. On a Friday night you can enjoy a hookah and belly dancing as you sip wine and share hummus. Chances are Andy will stop by the table and greet everyone and make a joke or two. The Lunch menu is also fantastic with a 3 course $ 10 offering that I never turn down. Start off with salad, soup, and a wrap or shish. Overall the ambiance, food, and value make Andy’s my favorite Mediterranian in Cincinnati.

My dad loves this place. I suspect it is because of the belly dancers, but anyway… We went with a large group on the weekend, and it was not very busy for dinnertime. It was also freezing outside. They were able to seat us right away, and they had no trouble getting the orders for our large group out quickly and correctly. I am not sure how they make their labneh, but we demolished the first dish in minutes and had to order a second. I pretty much wanted to smother my entire meal with it. Otherwise, the food was standard Mediterranean fare, nothing too out of the ordinary.

I thought this was a good place. I tried it using a coupon from . The coupon was $ 25 on a $ 50 order. My guest and I split an appetizer, an entrée each(I had the shisk-ka-bob and my guest had a gyro), and split a dessert. After tax, tip, and the coupon it came to $ 43, pretty good. You’ll see others on Unilocal disappointed with the cost, so get a coupon and that fixes the value issue. The food was above average, with the pita bread being very good and the steak in the shish-ka-bob being very tender and flavorful. They even rival, but don’t surpass my KaRobs(shish-ka-bobs I make)! I can confirm the unwelcoming service that others have commented on. I just didn’t get the feeling that the wait staff was happy we came in.

Food is good but pricy. We had the super sampler which came with a variety of appetizers. It was all tasty but nothing really blew me away. We had the Lamb Burger as well. It is served with 2 sliders. Good sharing size. Flavors were good and paired well with the lamb. The Pita bread was awesome, fresh baked in a stone oven. It was much thicker than normal and delicious. Everything was pretty tasty but a little steep at $ 40 for those two items with no drinks.
