I really only go to The Bagel Stop when I absolutely have to. Meaning, it’s too rainy or cold out to leave the building or I just need to grab something quick and don’t have the time to walk anywhere else. I really try to like this Bagel Stop for the convenience factor but they just don’t do it for me. I don’t know if it’s the severely overpriced snacks and food or if it’s the often times, rude lady at the counter that bug me the most. I will say that generally everyone else who works at this location is pretty friendly and upbeat except one lady. I do not know her name but she could really use a refresher on customer service. Now don’t get me wrong, she’s absolutely pleasant to the frequent customers whose name and order she knows off hand but if she doesn’t know you, she won’t be excited to help you. She’ll even skip over you to take their order first! Believe me, I’ve seen it happen! All in all, if you’re in dire need of a quick drink, cup of coffee or a snack The Bagel Stop will do the trick but don’t expect much as far as service and definitely expect to spend more than you would elsewhere.

Owners Gary & his wife Michelle are good people. Nice, clean location with lots of food and beverage options. The major plus for me is the full-size salad bar, a rare find in downtown eateries. If I(still) worked downtown, I’d be hitting the salad bar, like all the time. The other plus? They carry those Sabra hummus«Grab & Go Packs» in original and Roasted Red Pepper(my fave!) flavors! That’s reason alone to go… that and they have Coke Zero fountain machine!
