Build A Bear Workshop

My children love Build a Bear. They love building new friends. One of their favorite parts is when they get to put the heart into their new friend. They have a tendency to put in several, so that the animal will have even more love.
Things can really add up. Not only are some of the animals on the expensive side, but then there are the scents, sounds, and all of the accessories. Some of the clothing is more expensive than some of my children’s clothing. Outside of birthdays, we only go when there is a really good coupon or promotion. The animals are very well made.
Giving a child between the ages of 2 – 8 a gift card, and letting them make the animal is a great gift.
The store is clean. The staff is friendly. They have restrooms for customers.

We went here to make a gift for our friend’s daughter. It was fun! Not only do you get to choose which animal you want to stuff full of fluff, you get to dress it too! They have tons of different types of animals and styles of clothes so everyone should find something they like, including adults. The staff were helpful and gave us a couple suggestions for the clothes.
Overall, it was fun but it was kinda pricey. Much more than I expected. I would recommend doing it if you want to create something special for someone special but I won’t be getting all my toys there.

Such a fun place to go with kids! The staff is friendly and very animated — they all get the kids extremely excited. The whole concept is so cool — many different outfits to choose from as well. Great for parties!
