Fig Leaf

It is always such a treat to take an afternoon and peruse the charming shops of Hyde Park when I’m in town (moved from the Cinci area this past summer). I have purchased many beautiful items from Fig Leaf. I particularly like their selection of artisans that you don’t find in major retail stores, you won’t see yourself coming and going. One of my favorites to this day is a gorgeous necklace by Dana Kellin. The higher end price tags do reflect the uniqueness and quality of the items sold there, although it would be great to see a bit more variety in a modestly priced range as well. The upstairs features non-​jewelry items, such as home accessories and children’s items. I purchased a beautifully embroidered tea towel for a friend one Christmas, and she raved about the workmanship.
