Lentz & Company is a gem of an antique store located on Ludlow Avenue. The store might be on the small side, but it’s packed front to back with a unique selection that samples most of the twentieth century. They sell all sorts of vintage odds and ends, ranging from furniture and décor to wearable items like jewelry and hats. I’m personally a fan of their glassware selection, which like the rest of the store seems to rotate frequently. This just means that you can always find something new that you’re unlikely to find anywhere else. The owner is always fun to speak with. He’s energetic and passionate about his shop, with detailed knowledge of every item he sells. He’s incredibly personable, which keeps me coming back to browse and occasionally buy. The Lentz & Company also has what I believe to be the best storefront in Clifton. The theme varies depending on the season, and it’s always nice to see it change along with the inventory. If you’re looking for a quaint place to find anything from a conversation piece to vintage dinnerware, stop by for a visit. Even if you don’t find what you were looking for, you’ll leave wanting to purchase about half of the store!

While walking around Clifton on a Sunday afternoon my wife and I wandered inside to take a look around. There we met Nicolas Plummer for the first time. I have to admit, had it not been for his welcoming attitude, talkative nature and general charm, we probably would have given the eclectic mix here a look, a couple smiles and continued on our way as we do with most stores. Instead, he made us feel at home in this shop full of treasures(with a distinct Mad Men kind of vibe). He wanted to get to know us, our tastes and had stories to go with most hints of our life we dropped. Well played and well received! We ended up leaving with a glass set and two martini shakers and, quite honestly, the more I looked around the more I wanted. I’m a fan of this cozy little shop and could have spent a lot more had I let myself. We will be back. In fact, there’s a small bit of artwork on their wall that already has my name on it. It just doesn’t know it yet. The piece caught my eye and has not left my memory yet. I’m a fan of this spot!

This adorable shop full of kitsch sits nestled in the Clifton’s Gaslight business district. The small store features vintage home décor, furniture and art. This is definitely the type of place to come if you’re looking to accent your Mad Men-styled home or office! To add to this, they’re priced just right! The store employee on the day of my visit was, in a word, intense. I’ve never heard so many political jokes that managed to reference Eddie Izzard, Britain, Kenya, and Putin all in a five-minute span. That dude was tiring, to say the least, and perhaps only added to the«charm»!

Great shop with original art and Mid-century modern furniture and knick knacks. A good place for a quick gift or thoughtful big purchase item.

Flashback! If you are looking for vintage items of all types this is a great stop. Lentz and Company offers vintage jewelry, furniture, kitchen items, toys and more. There are a ton of items in the store but they are well organized so it does not seem overly cluttered. The curator is careful to collect full functional sets for items like toys and kitchenware(containers and lids!) so that items purchased can be used. The store also features works of local artists including candles and pillows. This is a great stop on Ludlow!

This place opened up on Ludlow about 6 weeks ago and I am kicking myself for not going in sooner. They have such a great collection of antiques with a variety of items to fit your kitchen, living room, bedroom, and any price range. Their couches and chairs for sale are super cute and extremely affordable. I loved all the tins they had for your kitchen and everything was displayed appropriately to look like a 1940s/50s kitchen. They have jewelry and jewelry and cigar boxes… I could go on and on. Leigh Ann, the owner, is super friendly and helpful. Please please support this local business!
