Papa John’s Pizza

2 stars this time for how bored the customer service rep was when taking my carry out order. He didn’t read it back to me and hung up the phone… Rude. I always order pizza from here, but he needs some work on his people skills!

Okay, so this place probably doesn’t get as much attention as the Domino’s down the street, but it deserves a little more credit. Papa John’s is my favorite guilty pleasure pizza chain, so usually if I have a craving, I go for them (aka the only ones who do garlic sauce right).
Yesterday was one of those days. Around 10 pm (a weeknight), I called 5 minutes before arriving here for carryout, waited for 6 minutes, and was good to go. I expected to wait 15 – 30 mins, so it was great that they were done quicker. Staff were straight-​to-​the-​point and considerate, and I’m happy to say that the entire pizza was greedily eaten up with no complaints.
Only issue is that their prices are higher, especially for being located around the campus area with so many other pizza places in high competition. Students want cheap food, and I realize that you could buy 2 medium pizzas for the price of one here (but do you want to die?). The 20% off when you check in helps though.
tl;dr if you love PJ’s like me, you’ll get exactly what you expect at this location.

Unless you want to wait 2 hours for delivery and have a pizza that’s cold with slices missing. I suggest you look somewhere else for pizza.
